Taki Mag says A&E dirty trick is (“just”?) a publicity stunt

It’s an unlikely event, though, unless the idea was to subtly promote an LGBT-friendly brand among the lucrative “gay market” for the long term.

Maybe some execs there have seen the future coming with an officially sanctioned persecution of Bible-believers that will rival those of Rome at least, if not the much worse mass murders of same under leftist and fascist regimes in the 20th century and continuing today, to follow on the heels of the censorship of speech favoring Jesus Christ out of government.

Right on, except that there is a little more to this story, “this story” being A&E’s duplicity and hypocrisy and according to this story, simply pulling a PR stunt. In spite of some independent souls actually producing spiritually and culturally healthy fare from there, the figurative Hollywood “establishment” cares more about muzzling criticisms of its orgiastic contortions, than it does about the money you know they want.

In March 2013 they had already apparently requested the Duck folks accept cutting out the “Jesus” word or bleeping it out. The producer of the show apparently once did a “gay porno” thing.

So we can safely conclude that they treated at least one gay with enough respect to work together with him for many months (years?) on this show.

What this takimag article also misses is also that the “martyr” description is not just part of a nefarious A&E plan, unless they gambled on successfully getting Jesus actually expunged from the show. Or, put it this way, dilute the Christian witness by getting the “patriarch” out and the rest of them eating humble pie.

This has been happening all over Hollywood for a generation or two already and has been creeping into the rest of society as well.

A&E got exposed naked in the snow with this trick, for sure. (Who owns A&E, by the way?) Be it a PR trick, or a trick to throw Phil Robertson “under the bus”, they shot themselves in the foot.

But this is part of the “ethnic cleansing” that certain Christ-haters are doing throughout the country. The haters hate Christ and cannot stand that word “sin” next to actual “sins”, even though Christians can insist “I’m a sinner like anybody else just like you”.

‘Open hostility’ to Christians in U.S. military

Michael “Mikey” Weinstein, the head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, is trying to “spiritually rape” all Christians, but he’s just starting in the military forces of the USA. It looks like he has the cooperation of at least a few Pentagon insiders.

Stalin should be so lucky. No doubt this same guy has the same words to say about Joe McCarthy, whom the “leftists” made poster boy for beating up on anti-communists. He wanted to purge the State Department and the military forces of Communists. Now comes Weinstein and wants to purge them all of Christians. The Soviet bloc tyrants fulfilled his dream. The result is that atheists were also the worse off under those ideological dictates, and Christianity thrived as it did under the persecutions of the Romans throughout history.

Who wants to stop free speech and leave atheists to be the only ones who can proselytize openly in the US Armed Forces?

Who is it that wants to ban people from bringing Bibles for patients that might want them at Walter Reed Army Medical Center?

It is this wannabe tyrant, who wants to stamp out Christianity.

Here’s news for you, guy. Removing Christians from the US Army might be the best thing that could happen to those Christians, getting them out of the way of the judgments of God that are going to come back on the heads of the nation that forgot God.

If this little wannabe Antichrist or his cohorts read this, they’ll go into indignant fits, how can you say those things, and others will be alarmed.

Hear what The “voice of the Lord” said to Ezekiel after he saw “Ezekiel’s wheel“:

Ezekiel 3:17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Christianity will not be wiped out at all. In fact, the very existence of what Jesus Christ himself called “The Elect” stands between the judgments coming on the world, and the annihilation of “all flesh”.

Sure, Christ‘s followers at some point will appear to be defeated, but that’s at the end of the very short rule of the Antichrist, “after the Tribulation of those days” (Matthew 24).

“Feed my sheep” and give them warning from me

Christians, it’s not “take care of my sheep”, it’s “Feed my sheep”:

John 21:17 (KJB) He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

I saw the modern this verse in a prayer list email message, and I wondered about this difference in the modern deviation from the original jot and tittle.

The NLT (“New Living Translation“) copyright 2007 (No copying more than a chapter lest the Copyright Police come and take away your place and your nation):

Jesus repeated the question: “Simon son of John, do you love me?” “Yes, Lord,” Peter said, “you know I love you.” “Then take care of my sheep,” Jesus said (John 21:16, NLT)

What’s missing there is the Great Commission from Mark 16:15 that is lost in that verse. A true shepherd of the Lord is NOT supposed to just “take care of” the sheep, he is supposed to FEED the sheep from “every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God”.

“Taking care of” the sheep is an earthly engagement, while Jesus’ admonition is the spiritual feeding of the WORD. To give it a different meaning is to destroy the spirit AND the letter of every “jot and tittle” of meaning, and demote the office of a shepherd to a mere earthly caretaker.

Christ was saying that the job of a shepherd is to make shepherds out of each sheep in his flock. It is NOT to just merely “take care of” them. “Taking care of” the sheep can mean different things in different congregations. Some pastors do nothing to take care of them; others reject all the guidance of scripture to “visit the widows and the orphans”, and prefer a “gospel” in favor of supporting governments that steal from the rich to give to the poor, and that’s how they “take care of” their sheep.

Is your pastor following Jesus’ admonition to discern the “signs of the times”? Jesus is saying here that the Pharisees had all the signs they needed and they had the Word, but they rejected the plain truth reading of the Word of God and instead sought some other kind of sign because they did not want to accept the signs of the times but wanted a different teaching. They wanted a false prophet instead of the word of God, so they “seeketh after a sign” because they are a “wicked and adulterous generation”.

Glad to see this article. Christians need more of it, which is why I am writing a book (more like an introductory “booklet”) on the subject. This is a copy of my reply there.

Marxists hate the Bible because it exposes their hate and exposes their lack of love for the poor. They condemn the laws of Moses, for example, as harsh, but a friend from Peru once told me her uncle witnesses a hanging in a small jungle town by the Maoist Sendero Luminoso” for adultery.

But the laws of Moses made no provision for ANY government by force AT ALL. NONE! The only law enforcement officers under its authority were the people themselves, and it was very “liberal” in allowing restitution instead of punishments. Out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, just one wasn’t enough, to condemn, and enslaving the free was prohibited explicitly. It is a scandal of major proportions to me that Christians do not know their own Bibles enough to refute some of the ignorant accusations against it, and what’s more, listen to Pharisees prattling on Christian radio about saving their precious laws.

The closest thing to authority was the priests who were supposed to diagnose leprosy, perform ceremonial expiatory rites, and no swords! Sure, rocks, but how many actual stonings are there in the Bible? I have read almost all of it and don’t remember any, though I remember a good number of sinners who were forgiven just like the woman Jesus saved from her condemners. Jesus said to turn the other cheek, but he also raged with a vicious lashing when he drove the money changers out of the temple.

Karl Marx in the Communist Manifesto demanded a central bank for every nation in the world, a private capitalist banking cartel (I was a Communist in college days, he wrote it). But Jesus drove out those robber banker money cheaters with a lashing. The one use of force (I think justified) he engaged in.

The money changers told “savior” Obama to just forget about printing a trillion-dollar coin at the Treasury. Congress should pass Ron Paul‘s bill forgiving government “debt” to the Federal Reserve of the trillion dollars it “owes” out of our pockets, but then they might send out the Temple Guards.

Jesus came to comfort the broken-hearted, heal the sick, and set the captives free, and he’s been doing it for 2,000 years. Thank God for freedom!

Letters From the Sky: Meaning: Here’s one way to look at it

Hi folks!

Generally I do not pay much attention to popular music these days, for a series of reasons I have explained elsewhere and will expound on in the future, but occasionally something catches my attention.

“Letters from the Sky” is one of those..

One of these days the sky’s gonna break and everything will escape and I’ll know
One of these days the mountains are gonna fall into the sea and they’ll know
That you and I were made for this
I was made to taste your kiss
We were made to never fall away
Never fall away

Maybe it’s just because I have the Bible on my mind all the time, but “the sky’s gonna break” reminded me of  Matthew 24:30 “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”

Acts 1 is another scripture that came to mind, where Christ ascended bodily into heaven and was received into the clouds, and the angels told the disciples that he would come again “in like manner”. Certainly those who are saved by the blood of the Lamb and accepted him will go free, again, because we are really free the moment we are born again.

The next lines talk about the “letters” that are “gonna fall from the sky telling us all to go free”.

Yeah! That’s what I’m talkin’ about, people! Go free from the weight of sin and worry and let it loose and get into the knowledge that everything is going to be alright!

“I’ll find a way to let everybody know” reminded me about the Great Commission, “make disciples of all nations” (Mark 16:15), and “when this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached to all the world as a witness to all nations”, Jesus said in Matthew 24, “then shall the end come”. Look at that!

But until that day I’ll find a way to let everybody know ’cause you’re coming back, you’re coming back to me
‘Cause even though you left me here I have nothing left to fear
These are only walls that hold me here
Hold me here

I know Jesus is coming back to me and there’s nothing left to fear when you know you’re in good hands –He has the whole world in his hands, after all– and we’re going to be alright.

Aye. I wanna hold you here. Yes. I wanna hold you right here. I wanna hold you here.

One day soon I’ll hold you like the sun holds the moon
And we will hear those planes overhead and we won’t have to be scared

Sure, we want to hold our loved ones here, but some of them have to go on before us.

And “those planes overhead”? The lyrics make the point that we won’t have to be scared when we hear “those planes overhead”, so that must mean a reference to planes in a way that would cause most people to be afraid.

But we don’t have to fear anymore.

In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. – Psalms 56:11.

The gang that feeds off dividing groups of people will no doubt tell the Trayvon parents they have a duty to all colored folk everywhere to file a lawsuit. And the people that cheered when O. J. Simpson was declared “Not Guilty”: What will they do?

Martin Luther King had a dream. A dream of a land where people are judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character..

Let’s remember the words of Rodney King who wept before the public, “Can’t we just get along?” It takes two to tango.

Let’s remember Saint Patrick, one of the first slaves in the Roman Empire who went back to the land of his slavery after he escaped and won them to the God of Love with the message of the ultimate sacrifice, all while he gave his entire life to the Irish and shamed the continent of Europe into giving it up.

Let’s remember William Wilberforce, who made it his mission field to end the abomination of slavery in the British Empire and spent decades preaching the message of freedom and natural rights to the British until finally the people understood and the Parliament abolished it.

Remember John Newton, nobody more full of sin that he, slave trader and captain, who after he accepted the love of Christ as Lord, grew in his disgust with his former life and its taint, that he saw how great God’s forgiveness can be, and wrote that eternal hymn that has inspired people of all colors with those uplifting words of “Amazing Grace”. And who went on to tell William Wilberforce that his mission field was his talent in persuading the entire British population to end slavery.

Let’s remember the Underground Railroad, God bless them, they have their mansions in heaven, made up of people of all colors who laid down their lives and risked life and limb to fight back against the monstrous violation of liberty that was said slavery.

Let’s remember that Jesus Christ himself was an asiatic Hebrew, brownish compared to the Roman soldiers who drove the physical nails into the cross, not knowing who he was, of whom Jesus himself prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do”.

And let us remember, even more importantly, that there are much bigger threats to our freedoms looming in the Patriot Act and its expansion under the new administration, the NDAA, SOPA (defunct for now at least), PIPA (that too), ACTA, the president renewing an old “executive order” empowering himself to take over all commerce and industry when he decides there is an “emergency” or situation that merits it, on and on.

There are these multiple wars that take too many lives of all colors but rely on disproportion of darker skinned folks..

Thank God that Jesus’ return is soon..
