May was the wettest month

..and this winter of 2018-2019 was one of the coldest and snowiest. One colleague at my company that lives close to the Mississippi River says it’s been several feet above flood stage since November 2018.

Al Gore predicted that the Himalayas would lose the snowcap by 2035:

They just got record snowfall and called off some scheduled climbs as a result.
