“Separation of church and state”, anti-constitutionalists know, has been used deceitfully to support the banning of free exercise by teachers and by judges AND BY PARENTS, even where there is no “Congress” passing any “law”.

The first Congress knew that having (paid) chaplains before sessions and in the Army was not a violation of what they themselves put in the Constitution. But it was Tea Party Christians like Patrick Henry who “held the Constitution hostage” by insisting on the Bill of Rights as a condition not only for supporting passage of the Constitution, but promising to sabotage it without written recognition of GOD given rights like the FREE EXERCISE thereof of religion.

Telling parents they cannot use voucher money to exercise their natural rights to send the kid to an atheist school or a religious school is a violation of free exercise.

Government should get totally out of interfering with education anyway, especially the federal government which is forbidden to it by the US Constitution.

Brazil Looks To Criminalize Ripping A CD? | Techdirt

This shows that leftist rulers however they get their power are NOT about helping the poor, they are about CONTROL. That’s why Karl Marx wanted central banks: control over fiat money to bring the body politic to poverty so they’ll demand their demagogues to loot the rich. But in the end the leftists squeeze all they can from the poor to guarantee their patrons’ loot. Like George Soros and offshore drilling in Brazil, since we’re talking about Brazil.

They push the limits but “We can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth”.
c
This just shows that leftists actually HATE the truth about the real world, whether it’s because they think their paymasters are going to let them in on the loot, or whether they’re just that gullible.

I was “that gullible” once and thank God for the facts and logic that set me free to see that the only human rights that matter are owned by the individual, NOT any collective.

Rick Steves’ “political statement” backfires on itself

Apparently this millionaire is upset that the IRS doesn’t take even more of his money, so he’s donating it to the “Edmonds Center for the Arts”: http://www.heraldnet.com/article/20110825/NEWS01/708269915

But this is precisely what tax freaks need to learn: Being good to the poor and to needy causes means giving YOUR OWN money to those causes, NOT your neighbors’!

Seizing your fellow citizens’ income by force of taxation, whether by majority vote or not, is THEFT, it is STEALING from them.

Giving of your own money is fine and dandy.

I can think of better places for his money than he can, though, obvious from this donation. I have been a missionary in poor countries where this money could have provided a good private education for kids who are stuck with learning from unionized mafias that are on strike most of the year. Even keeping in this country, it could have provided an escape from one of the worst educational systems in developed countries..

Welcome to the new non-monarchy monarchy, where the queen lives high and the king plays golf while her subjects look for jobs.

See here the exorbitant pay raises granted to White House staff at our expense:

No wonder they need to borrow trillions more dollars than they already have!

With so many trillions around, we won’t even be able to eat “dollar salad”, because they’re hardly even printing them anymore..

Get the government out of our children’s bedrooms!

OAS: HRF Calls on Insulza to Resign as Secretary General; Report Reveals Mishandling of Honduran Crisis

August 28, 2011

It’s time for this enemy of rule by consent, Jose Insulza, to get out of the way:

http://www.humanrightsfoundation.org/media/030910.html

Enabler of the new leftist dictatorships in Latin America, who CLAIM to have a majority in countries where not even their own people have so much faith in the accuracy of vote counts. But no majority-elected president has any “right” to shut down the natural human rights that are given to us by God but that are so obviously natural objective truths even atheists claim them for themselves as well.

The Golden Rule is common to all mankind, and no “social justice” cause can justify it. Especially since all this “social justice” baloney and the baloney-makers that spawn web sites financed by shadowy money from plutocrat billionaires anyway.

And, since no government based on what they call social justice was always unfair to the poor, even when the poor still kept on supporting them through blackouts, roads that are out of repair, and when they make instant millionaires out of their own buddies.

Boom Times End at For-Profit Colleges – WSJ.com

It seems students are shying away from going to the more expensive private college-level universtities and colleges, preferring to avoid the extremely high student loan debts and registering in more inexpensive local county two-year institutions and state campuses instead.

I liked one comment there:

College can be a real waste of Time and Money for Many.
Un-less one is persuing a formal education to persue a specific profession or career that requires it.
Otheriwse one is better off going to some type of trade school.
The best is to start one’s own business. By perhaps working for a corporation or company , for a period of time, gain as much knowledge as you can. After a period of time, self confidence is garnered .
Then cut the cord and strart your own business. Nothing like working for your self. Generally you will work less hours, make more money, And have more freedom. ( Like the old saying goes you do not get rich working for someone else. Persue the Amercian dream capitalism , before Obama Screws us out of it.

Why the hit on guitar-maker Gibson and not Martin?

August 28, 2011

Why is Obama’s administration going after Gibson and not Martin?

Same wood, same paperwork, same everything, but Obama’s government raided Gibson and left Matin free. Why?

You may remember this recall of burger meat from Burger King (and other) restaurants that bankrupted Hudson Foods over 16 cases of e.coli and an arbitrary finding by FDA that there had been more “questionable practices” at their plants? (Note: They are all arbitrary).

http://articles.latimes.com/1997/aug/22/news/mn-24800

Hudson Foods was the biggest competitor to Arkansas-based Tyson Foods (maker of “Tyson Chicken”). See the story of how CEO Tyson was losing market share to CEO Hudson until Tyson buddy Slick Willie’s FDA slammed down hard on Hudson Foods.. (“Slick Willie” was the nickanme for Governor Bill Clinton, for his way of slipping smoothly out of trouble):

http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune_archive/1997/10/27/233332/index.htm

From that article:

> For more than a decade executives at Tyson, whose chicken business is more than twice the size of anyone else’s, have been itching to buy Hudson. But every time Tollett or Tyson Chairman Don Tyson approached Red Hudson with the idea of selling the company he created in 1972 (after buying Ralston Purina’s chicken operations), the 73-year-old chairman said no thanks. Tollett’s most recent entreaty took place in mid-July at an over-the-fence in Red’s kitchen across the street. Discussions broke off several days later because Red, who didn’t really want to sell, was asking what he calls “a pretty good price” for his 90% of the company’s voting shares.
>
> But Tyson wasn’t after Hudson just because Tollett was reminded of his rival every time his Ford pickup passed Red’s Mercedes at Pinnacle’s gates. The real reason is that Tyson needs to meet analysts’ projections of 15% annual growth, and in recent years Hudson Foods has been stealing some of Tyson’s thunder. Hudson has eroded Tyson’s position as the dominant supplier of chicken products to Wal-Mart, the Arkansas neighbor that Merrill Lynch estimates will own 9% of the country’s food sales by 2005. Hudson, a company with annual sales of $1.7 billion, now does slightly more business with Wal-Mart than the $6.5 billion Tyson. Shane Glenn, analyst for the Little Rock investment bank Stephens Inc., attributes this to Hudson’s greater willingness to negotiate on price and to its new chicken plant in Henderson, Ky., which primarily supplies Wal-Mart. (The fact that Red’s grandson, Mike Hudson Jr., is married to the daughter of a Wal-Mart executive can’t hurt either.) Other Hudson assets attractive to Tyson include a thriving turkey operation, chicken processing facilities in three states where Tyson has none, and other product lines that are complementary to Tyson’s.

And then (drumroll, please):

> Despite Tyson’s numerous attempts to acquire Hudson, it wasn’t until the company was thrust into national headlines for issuing the largest recall of meat in U.S. history that Tyson finally got its lucky break. Abandoned by a major customer and served up as an example by a government agency, Hudson was brought to its knees in September and driven into the arms of Tyson–something Red Hudson never would have imagined when he first received word at the end of July about E. coli-contaminated meat that was traced to Hudson’s beef facility in Nebraska.
>
> As far as outbreaks go, this one seemed mild. Unlike Jack-In-The-Box’s scare in 1993, which sickened 500 and killed four, only 16 people in Colorado became ill from eating Hudson hamburger patties. No one died. And it was determined that Hudson’s plant probably wasn’t responsible for contaminating the beef–it was brought in from an outside supplier. Hudson recalled 20,000 pounds of beef on Aug. 12. Then, for reasons still unclear, the USDA forced Hudson to increase the amount to 1.2 million and then again to 25 million pounds. Thomas Billy, head of the USDA’s inspection service, says that his department found record-keeping inadequacies and practices of recycling meat from one day to the next at the Hudson plant, which made it impossible to locate a break in the chain of tainted meat, but says he won’t elaborate because a USDA investigation is still under way.

Washington needs people who put their actions where they promise, every time. There’s only one who has done that without compromise. Americans are sick of compromise in Washington, they want Washington to get OUT of their lives.. If Americans continue compromising they will deserve the consequences…

CEO of Gibson Guitars’ Main Competitor is a Huge Democrat Donor; Also Uses Same Wood Without Any Complaints From Feds

August 28, 2011

Read about it here:

http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2011/08/ceo-of-gibson-guitars-main-competitor.html

If CEOs keep playing dead when one of their peers gets attacked like this, it won’t be long before they are all under the direct thumb of the next demagogue (or this one..)

High priority goal in Allende’s government was to destroy the private sector economy to remove the economic base from the opposition, with a two-fer in its indirect attack on support for opposition media.

Jose Miguel Insulza, Secy General of the OAS, was political adviser to Allende’s openly Marxist regime, which engaged openly in unabashed selective attacks on the private sector. So no wonder he supported the “liberal”-cum-socialist dictator Manuel Zelaya’s Resistencia in their attacks on the private sector in 2009. Insulza’s bald-faced sending of observers to give OAS “legitimacy” to Zelaya’s survey fraud was too much even for the Washington Post.

This ought to be causing outrage even among “liberals” who used to be known in some distant past as big mouths against government intervention on behalf of one company over another, or against a company on behalf of another, like in this case.

If the UNION BOSSES were not total lapdog wussies getting political dog food from the guardians of the “national treasury”, if they truly cared about working men and women in the country, they would be screaming bloody murder over Obama’s own JOBS CZAR moving jobs out of the country. Even if it is from Wisconsin.

Just like the NOW bosses, they don’t care about their “constituency” like rape victims if it might hurt their REAL constituency, which is more power for leftists or leftist presidents.
