Question everything

July 29, 2013

Progressive groups that were denied by the IRS were able to appeal.

The IRS stalled on the tea party and patriot and conservative groups’ applications. The White House can claim –dubiously– that it had nothing to do with such political targeting, but it cannot deny that it did blame the targeting on a “two rogue agents” in the Cincinnati office. And that the one managerial level officer from whom directives came down has been on paid vacation leave (“suspension with pay”) when too many facts came out that embarrassed them.

It cannot hide the fact that the blame for Benghazi on a video that in reality nobody watched was resurrected by the White House from the tomb where CIA fact-checkers had put it. It cannot hide the fact that an order to stand down was issued to a reaction force that was ready to rescue the survivors of the attack. It cannot hide the fact that the ambassador was there to buy back arms from the militia the White House had put in power there. They cannot hide the fact that the White House appointed a gay man as ambassador to a Muslim country where many violent factions would stone them to death. They cannot hide the fact that the ambassador was killed in the apparent kidnapping attempt was recruiting jihadists to train for war in Syria where they are doing their best to replace a bad dictatorship with a worse dictatorship run by the fighters that eat the hearts of their enemies and slaughter civilians to have something to blame on the current government.

And this from a White House that claims to be waging a war on terror?

Can we trust them with total surveillance on their own people? Can we trust them? What do they plan for the American people?

If there is news of an attack supposedly by a “right-wing militia”, instead look for the story between the lines, follow the money, and, like Einstein said, “Question everything”.

“By their fruits ye shall know them”. Matthew 7:20

Blood on the hands of Obama’s phony propaganda

July 29, 2013

The title line of this note uses a good turn of phrase by Walid Shoebat in the article linked below:

Alinsky smiling up at Obama over “Phony Scandals” line | Walid ShoebatWalid Shoebat:
http://shoebat.com/2013/07/29/alinsky-smiling-up-at-obama-over-phony-scandals-line/

He refers to Obama’s phony “phony scandals” remark, where he said all of the scandals of his administration’s doing are “phony scandals”.

He means:
1.The long list of lies and dirty tricks used for the Unaffordable Act and its PHONY purpose 2.Fast and Furious and its PHONY cover story
2a.The PROMOTION of the managers of the Fast and Furious operation instead of demotion 3.Eric Holder in contempt of court for Fast and Furious stonewalling 4.Obama covering Holder with PHONY “executive privilege” cover 5.Benghazi-gate
6.Benghazi-gate whistleblower suppression
7.The IRS targeting tea party, patriot, and other conservative and libertarian tax status applications for denial by endless questionnaires 8.IRS investigation stalling and stonewalling
9.Suspension WITH PAY for the most visible IRS official in charge of deep-sixing conservative applications
10.The coverup by secret classifications of murders of civilians in Iraq including reporters, part of the files we have seen thanks to whistleblower Bradley Manning
11.The universal Orwellian Big Brother surveillance state, the gathering of data on EVERYBODY in the country, in gross and blatant violation of the Fourth Amendment, expanded by the Patriot Act and expanded by the Obama administration
12.The demotion, harassment, and the prosecution of whistleblowers and the journalists that publish their data, to scare other potential whistleblowers
13.Janet Napolitano’s DHS enemies watch list for federal, state and local law enforcement, listing veterans, conservatives, libertarians like Ron Paul supporters, grouped along with other bad guys as dangerous (We saw in the 2012 presidential campaign who were the more dangerous ones with the blatant illegal, fraudulent and abusive treatment of Ron Paul delegates)
14.The blatant abuse of authority by the president to order a stop to drilling permits in the Gulf, and then the blatant disobedience by the Obama administration to more than one order by a federal judge to open up the drilling permits
15.The use of the DOJ to provoke racial animosity in a highly publicized case, and the blatant disregard for many racists attacks across the country against lighter skinned Americans whose only sin is the color of their skin

And now we have a new scandal uncovered by Walid Shoebat, the attempt by the Obama administration to provoke some big attack by someone of the groups they hate and they want to suppress, to provide a cover for the much bigger attack on what’s left of respect for individual rights in America, and to finish crippling the American economy with a fascist/socialist central-planning regime.

They are also distractions from the way this dictatorship is getting built. The Federal Reserve is the focal point of both economic disruption and money creation, with funds going first to the best connected and the most favored, and that’s not the poor. The poor are pacified with “safety net” promises and demagoguery. They remind me of the cartoon I saw once of the rich man with the beggar, where the rich man is telling the beggar, “I’m sorry I can’t find anything to give you”, with the rich man’s hand searching around inside the beggar’s jacket. Except in this case, the rich man fascist is buying the poor man’s votes, and by the way, the rich man’s votes too, with government subsidies and “tax breaks”. Tax breaks are where they let you keep some of the money they’re stealing.

NSA (1971) … NSA lets out its OWN embarrassing secrets (14 June 2013) …item 2.. New York Times – VENONA AND THE COLD WAR (1999) (Photo credit: marsmet472)

It’s in Spanish for anybody that reads it, but it’s a note from an anti-Castro web site that notes that the Ecuadorian strong-man president told youtube to take down the channel by Ecuadorian Victor Vizcaino, and so they did: http://complicesdecastro.blogspot.com/2012/09/youtube-ha-cerrado-el-canal.html

Has anybody noticed that the so-called “Left” in the United States has stopped using the words “witch hunt” anymore? Oh, yeah, they use the word “McCarthyism“, to try to stop anti-communists from getting an audience. But now the Internet has provided a vehicle for the less powerful to learn and share that McCarthy has been vindicated by the release by the Russians of the Venona papers, which confirm the list of Communist moles that were in and out of the State Department.

And hey, have you noticed that the blacklisting of Communists in Hollywood that supposedly went on in the 1950s has turned into a blacklisting of conservative actors and Christian actors? And meantime, the producer of the true-story based Christian-context movie “End of the Spear” used a homosexual actor for the main character. (Who hates who?)

Aliens, Michael Crichton, and Faster Than Light

An reaction to comments by a UFO researcher:

THE LEAP TO ALIENS

The leap from “I am matter and ..matter is made from energy” and what should be the self-evident fact of “consciousness …separate from my physical matter self”, to a galaxy replete with alien sentient beings has a great logic void gap. Nothing connects the dots, there’s no testable theory there about how you get from point A to point B. Personal experience, as subjective as it often is, has its evidentiary worth, but it’s not enough for that.

The flying machine you say you saw (I do believe it) “could be ..human made”. But you offer no reason to say it could not be a human technology.

Now some human inventions in my opinion have been divinely inspired by God himself, such as the Guttenberg press, which accelerated the pace of knowledge sharing, and the Internet, with its potential, to which God no doubt blinded some of the NWO dictatorship operatives, in the fulfillment of Daniel 12:4, that “knowledge shall be increased” in the “time of the end”.

I have no formed opinion on crop circles and don’t know enough about then that isn’t from sources I can trust on the matter. Some ufology sources have useful information, but some of those have misinformation on other matters, so I won’t discuss them for that reason.

There is of course the elephant in the room when we discuss “higher intelligence” and extraterrestrial life, and “alien ancestry”, and that is God himself, the Creator of the universe, and the host of angels that serve him and the smaller number of demons (aka “fallen angels”) that fight him.

MICHAEL CRICHTON

As to Michael Crichton, he is much less a cretin than some of the examples of the ufologists and Drake equations fans I’ve come across. A friend introduced me to a UFO magazine once, and you could have changed the cover on it to say New Age Superstition and it would be hard to tell the difference.

SETI, favorite charity of Carl Sagan, was founded by Mr. Drake, he of the Drake Equation. Crichton totally unmasked the formula as pure blind faith.

FASTER THAN LIGHT

That this is something to consider is valid. Einstein is not God, and special relativity is not Holy Writ. His cousin (and wife) had to even help him with the math of it, no doubt. Quantum physics even introduces a mechanism for a truly “free will” to enter into physics equations if they’ll deign to let a divine foot in the door. We shall see whether that works. Don’t hold your breath.

Quantum entanglement experiments have shown that there is something interacting with what we can measure that communicates at an apparently (to us) “infinite” speed, meaning instantly.

I was in college at the end of the 1960s, and was fascinated by some of the areas of scientific study that scientists seemed panicked about researching for fear of ridicule I suppose, or maybe feeling ridiculous. They shunned studies of telepathy-related phenomena. This led me to wonder about other things, including prophecy, which led me to the Bible as an unbeliever, and eventually with other considerations to a Bible believer, based on facts, science, history, prophetic fulfillment, and other things that pointed to that direction.

I may look at some of your links but my time is divided and limited so no promises, but the above will show you what I have found not only through personal experience but through careful study, and the testimony of science and history.

Reza Aslan is clueless: Blind leading the blind

July 24, 2013

Reza Aislan says that the three gospels that carry the names of the apostles were not written by them. How does he think he knows? This guy says it was common practice at the time to write things in the name of another, and this clueless author, ignorant of the factors that enter into such research, since he draws such a ridiculous “conclusion”, has no basis to say that about these gospels.

Does he say the same thing about Homer’s stories, Iliad and Odyssey? Does he say the same thing about Plato, or Aristotle, or Ptolemy? How about the Roman historians who corroborate the gospels?

Uncomfortable Facts About Jesus – HuffPost Live:
http://live.huffingtonpost.com/r/archive/segment/author-explores-uncomfortable-facts-about-jesus/51e5aa6e02a760286b00018f

Yes, they used crucifixion for subversives, as he says, but he totally ignores the fact that Jesus was crucified between two thieves when he says crucifixion was only used for subversives.

He also decided to skip talking about the fact that sedition was precisely the accusation of the Jewish rulers at Pilate, telling Pilate that he said he was a king, and “We have no king but Caesar” they yelled, and telling Pilate that if he did not crucify Jesus then he was no friend of Caesar. So the narrative that Jesus was some kind of Mao Tse Tung type revolutionary or Che Guevara, or even Paul Revere, also bites the dust.

His ideas are so easily refuted as to be ludicrous. John the Apostle went on later to himself write the book of Revelation. Polycarp was one who wrote about visiting with John on the isle of Patmos where he wrote it.

John 18:36
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

John 19:11
Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

Google, Facebook, Skype, Yahoo and AOL Required by Patriot Act to LIE in Denying NSA Spy Grid Scheme

Google, Facebook, Skype, Yahoo and AOL Required by Patriot Act to LIE in Denying NSA Spy Grid Scheme:
http://intellihub.com/2013/06/09/how-google-facebook-skype-yahoo-and-aol-are-all-blatantly-lying-in-denying-nsa-spy-grid-scheme/

Remember: You have much higher chance of being struck by lightning than dying in a terrorist attack. How many attacks have there been in Boston this year? Three dead, 145 injured.

It is not the usual easy to get the number of fatalities from murder in Chicago, for example, for that month, but for comparison the Huffington Post reported in a headline that “54 people were shot dead in Chicago during Zimmerman trial”. Note that the Chicago Police Department said there was a “significant decline” for the first six months of 2013.

Of course in the Huffington Post story, people killing people had nothing to do with people, but with the guns they had available to do it with. Someday, somebody is going to do a major sociological study on how so many people (and “smart” people!) could have been fooled so much on a scale even Abraham Lincoln would find incredible.

You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time. —Abraham Lincoln

So there is no great epidemic of terrorist killings in the USA today, and almost nobody in the nation is one, and yet the NSA is watching us all to see if they have to send out the Thought Police to get us. They’re acting like they got the wrong message from Orwell’s classic novel, 1984.

They’ll tell us they’ve prevented a dozen or so terrorist plots by watching us so closely. What they don’t tell us is that at least half of the “plots” the FBI publicly “admits” stopping are plots that the FBI itself conceived, engineered, found patsies for, supplied the materials for, and lo and behold, stopped.

We can understand if you get to wondering whether the ones that were not stopped might have also been an FBI plot.

It’s also understandable if you are wondering what the plans are for all this ubiquitous surveillance. If real world “terrorism” is not the problem they try to scare up, then why be watching all of us?

It’s understandable if you think they’re setting up for a more overt police state, as opposed to the covert one they have to work with at this time.

After all, they could be telling the elected Congressmen that anything they ever said could and will be used against them. Spitzer said he was going to bring charges against anybody who committed fraud on Wall Street during the meltdown and the bailouts, and in a couple of days, he’s “discovered”.

Remember Filegate? That’s when Hillary Clinton got all the FBI files on ALL the Senators and ALL the Representatives. It is understandable if you might think the idea was to keep Whitewater from resulting in impeachment.

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.–Galatians 6:7

We’ll see if Republicans in Congress are all mouth and no action: Shut it down to stop Obamacare? Oh yeah!

Government shutdown looms over ObamaCare – The Hill – covering Congress, Politics, Political Campaigns and Capitol Hill | TheHill.com: http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/312727-shutdown-looms-over-obamacare

And again, John McCain, co-sponsor of the Stop-Opposition Incumbent Protection Campaign Funding Act that cause incumbent reelection rates to go from 80% (hard enough already) to 95% (gotta be kidding me). And they say it took the money out of politics was their idea? Who could have known?

Big Government shills yell about Jack Hunter, never complained about Robert KKK Byrd

July 22, 2013

Jack Hunter leaves Rand Paul staff, returns to punditry | The Daily Caller:
http://dailycaller.com/2013/07/21/controversial-rand-paul-aide-leaves-staff-returns-to-punditry/

The Big-Government “Left” and the government-media complex, Old Media, is giddy over somebody’s discovery of old tapes of Jack Hunter’s rants as the former “Southern Advocate”, making statements he now deprecates. He says he’s “embarrassed” (his word) over them, in fact.

But if Rand Paul gets the nomination, they think they can trot this out and sink Rand Paul’s chances, because of the way the now former aide expressed his views on that program and in columns he wrote in the past. One editor refused to honor his request to remove some of those 1990s columns from the newspaper’s web site, no doubt seeing dollar signs in the hits he will get from the publicity.

Nonetheless, you may be excused if you wonder what past failings hide behind the accusers’ political allies, like Robert Byrd was. Robert Byrd was a recruiter for the Ku Klux Klan. Where are the political actors he mentored? Will they ask the questions?

Do they ever remind the audience that it was the Democratic Party of Franklin D. Roosevelt that is the party of the Old South, slavery, Jim Crow laws, forced segregation, and that voted against Civil Rights legislation in the 1960s?

They never bothered to ask Clinton why he praised his own mentor, Senator J. William Fulbright-Democrat, in a speech in October 2002, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, dedicating a 7-foot statue of the man, a staunch segregationist. Did anybody ask Bill Clinton how many times he heard or uttered the N-word? Was he against the Jim Crow laws at the time? Was he in favor of interracial marriage at the time?

And why did Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton sign the bill that made a state holiday of Robert E. Lee’s birthday, on the same day as the one that honored Martin Luther King?

WAS ABRAHAM LINCOLN “THE GREAT EMANCIPATOR”? I THINK NOT.

There are at least two-subtexts in this attack on Jack Hunter as a surrogate for Rand Paul.

One is, the chance to express horror at the idea that anybody might Abraham Lincoln is anything but a perfect and fine human being who was this pure abolitionist all about freeing the slaves. Not so. He was

The other subtext was about “preserving the union”, and centralizing the power for perpetuity in the federal government. A convenient corollary to this goal was to destroy the idea of secession by any state or group of states.

It is unfortunate for clear thinking on the subject that the right of secession by the states of the United States has been associated so closely by historians to the institution of slavery.

It is unfortunate for students today that in most textbooks in both politicized government indoctrination centers and in private schools, most students do not learn that among the strongest advocates of secession voices were advocates in northern states, most particularly apparently in Massachusetts, demanding secession so that the state would not be tainted by association with slavery.

It is also unfortunate that history textbooks help keep up the image of Lincoln as hero by covering the fact that he also ordered troops to shoot anti-draft demonstrators in New York in cold blood.

It’s hard for historians to cover up the slogan that was yelled out by John Wilkes Booth as he shot Abraham Lincoln that day, because it became so famous. It is a slogan that most elementary and high school and even college students have a problem relating to events, since they do not learn this “dark side” of the great “Emancipator”, so-called. “Sic semper tyrannis”: So it is always with tyrants.

Recommended book: Economics in One Lesson

Goes to show the problem with all government programs. Economists call it “moral hazard”, meaning an incentive to immorality, but used also to mean illegality. In other words, corruption.

Just finished this great book “Economics in One Lesson” by Henry Hazlitt, in which he quotes from an essay by WIlliam Graham Sumner.

As soon as A observes something which seems to him to be wrong, from which X is suffering, A talks it over with B, and A and B then propose to get a law passed to remedy the evil and help X. Their law always proposes to determine what C shall do for X or, in the better case, what A, B and C shall do for X… What I want to do is to look up C… I call him the Forgotten Man.. He is the man who is never thought of. He is the victim of the reformer,, social speculator and philanthropist, and I hope to show you before I get through that he deserves your notice both for his character and for the many burdens which are laid upon him.

The book goes over dozens of the popular myths that have driven the American economy and the rest of the world into the ground over the last century. It’s written in clear language, and shows the fallacy of shallow thinking that drives almost all of government spending.

“Liberal” Zimmerman prosecutor Corey put battered black woman in prison for a warning shot

July 21, 2013

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/07/19/angela-corey-s-overzealous-prosecution-of-marissa-alexander.html

Why are the poverty and racism pimps Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson not agitating to free this woman who only fired a warning shot at her abuser, who had even gone to prison for one of the five times that he beat her.

Yeah, you can call this racism, and I think yes, I can understand why you’d think that, but the prosecutor is the same one who took the Zimmerman case to court.

But it more looks like a gun control prosecution at the expense of a poor woman, be she black or white, without the resources to take on the entire state of Florida. Her lawyer said it the battered women “dont’ get the benefit of the doubt”, according to the Daily Beast article.

And now Andrea Corey is saying that social media will cause the end of the world, because that’s how a lot of us are finding out about this outrage against justice.

Outrage because the husband admitted in open court that he had beat all of his five “baby-mamas”. The story does not mention whether he was ever prosecuted for those previous beatings, but he did go to jail for abusing this one, Marissa Alexander.

So I support the call for Governor Rick Scott to issue a pardon for this woman.

Some are saying this shows “racism”, although these same people are not complaining about the numerous whites that have been beaten and even killed for their color. I have been warned by black friends against walking alone in some black neighborhoods because of my skin color.

Could we hear from the black pastors complaining about “racism” say something about this? How about the president? Does he think violence against lighter-skinned people and threats against people are okay because of the skin color of the victim?

There is only one race anyway, it’s the human race, and we are all individuals. We all should learn and help our fellows learn that.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. -Martin Luther King, Jr.

The lady’s lawyer used the Stand Your Ground law, but it didn’t help her. The principle is sound, though. If you’re at home and your husband has beat you before and he keeps coming at you, you should not have a duty to retreat, especially if it is your own home!

By the way, many law enforcement officials are saying that “Stand Your Ground” laws are benefiting minorities the most, in general, because minorities are more victimized. But that’s just statistics about groups. The right to defend one’s self is a natural right, we all get it as a birthright, and Rick Scott should pardon this woman.

In my opinion, almost everyone who thinks Zimmerman has been the victim of a politically-motivated prosecution, driven by racism pimps, will also agree that Melissa Alexander should get a pardon.

And then, can we return the nation’s conversation to the real problems in the nation causing our woes? The Federal Reserve’s inflationary monetary policies robbing the value of the few dollars held by the poor and middle class? The monstrous tax laws and taxation and regulatory regime that constitute a destruction of productive capacity in the economy and falls hardest on the small businesses of the nation –and hits most painfully, by the way, on minority businesses?

And the perpetual warfare machine the nation has built up that sends our sons and daughters to kill and die in foreign lands? How about the drone question and Big Brother spying on us, and, by the way, citizens getting the wrong end of unconstitutional and therefore illegal presidential kill orders?

How about the most racists and classist institution in the nation, fast-federalizing government school system, that ensure the ruling cliques that they get the dumbest graduates possible by keeping parents out of the decision and stopping independent schools?

How about that?
