Black voucher student: Why do you sit there and let my education be taken away?

October 31, 2011

“..President Barack Obama: You say that getting an education is the key to success. But why do you sit there, and let my education, and other’s [education] be taken away?..”– Ronald Holassie, D.C. voucher beneficiary, who is now studying at Barry University:

After three years of the voucher program in D.C., the voucher students were one year ahead of the public school students.

CO2 Is Green – More CO2 Results in a Greener Earth

CO2 Is Green – More CO2 Results in a Greener Earth:

About CO2 Is Green

CO2 is Green is a 501(C)(4) non-profit organization. Our mission is to support scientifically and economically sound public policy on environmental issues. Currently, we are especially concerned with federal proposals that would interfere with nature’s dependence on carbon dioxide (C02).

CO2 is not a pollutant. CO2 makes Earth green because it supports all plant life. It is Earth’s greatest airborne fertilizer. Even man-made CO2 contributes to plant growth that in turn sustains humanity and ecosystems.

CO2 Is Green is working to insure that all federal laws or regulations are founded upon science and not politics or scientific myths. No one wants the plant and animal kingdoms, including humanity, to be harmed if atmospheric CO2 is reduced. The current dialog in Washington needs to reflect these inalterable facts of nature. We cannot afford to make mistakes that would actually harm both the plant and animal kingdoms.

They provide a link to articles that list out some of the beneficial effects of increased CO2.

Overview of CO2s Impact on Plant Benefits and Climate Change:
http://www.plantsneedco2.org/default.aspx?menuitemid=401

Earth and its inhabitants have already benefited from the rise in airborne CO2 … since the beginning of the industrial revolution, by an average growth increase of about 12% for plants and 18% for trees. This has improved Earth’s habitats and ecosystems, including increasing food production for an undernourished population. These benefits have helped offset the many negative impacts upon nature caused by other human activities.
A listing of these benefits, addressed later by brief explanations on each, follows:

Additional CO2 causes an astonishing plant growth.
More CO2 causes plants to need less water to produce the same amount of growth.
Certain health-promoting substances such as vitamin C and antioxidants, are increased with additional airborne CO2.
With much more food production per acre, Earth should be able to feed an expanding population and save habitats and ecosystems.
Existing habitats and ecosystems will have higher plant and wildlife capacity.
The greening of Earth will continue and extend into the deserts as plants become drought tolerant.
Plants can better resist various stresses when grown in a CO2 enriched atmosphere.
Dramatic increases in the growth of Earth’s forests will help them recover from recurring natural disasters and aid a renewable resource industry.
CO2 is Earth’s greatest airborne fertilizer.
CO2 is the staff of life for Earth’s plant kingdom which is the beginning of the food chain; without it there would be no life on Earth.

Global Warming – More on the BEST claim of proven AGW | The GOLDEN RULE

Global Warming – More on the BEST claim of proven AGW | The GOLDEN RULE:

More facts to put the kibosh on the race to judgment by those who do not carefully consider the sources they choose to trust…

Or find one that they consider trustworthy because it “reconfirms” what they already “knew” all along but saw as having been thoroughly discredited. That’s a reference of course to Climategate, whose conclusions were shown as fraudulent and based on data that was deliberately falsified to favor the false flag worldwide carbon control operation –and then took another hit when the professional “vindicators” were exposed as having been hand-picked by the very perpetrators and their political sponsors.

The author at the above link provides graphic charts from the The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) itself that measure sea temperature, global oceanic heat content, thermosteric sea level (NOAA labeled these numbers an “anomaly”), and the most dramatic being the Envisat Sea Level measurement that shows a two-year decline in sea levels.

Read this! (Wow): Ron Paul Names Ideal Fed Chairman

October 29, 2011

Wow:
http://www.wealthwire.com/news/economy/2124

Grant has let loose on the Fed for years. Here’s a colorful quip from his WSJ Op-Ed “Requiem for the Dollar”:

Ben S. Bernanke doesn’t know how lucky he is. Tongue-lashings…are one thing. The hangman’s noose is another. Section 19 of this country’s founding monetary legislation, the Coinage Act of 1792, prescribed the death penalty for any official who fraudulently debased the people’s money. Was the massive printing of dollar bills to lift Wall Street (and the rest of us, too) off the rocks last year a kind of fraud?

Check out this interview with Grant, where reveals the history of the Fed’s “mission creep” beyond its initial purpose into experiments in quantitative easing and other fiat currency experiments:

Candid Comments From Climate Scientists | Climate Science: Roger Pielke Sr.

October 29, 2011

See here the angst that some climate scientists are going through over the now historical decade-long stability (non-cooling), even slight downtick, in global average (or mean) temperatures, and their candid LACK of certainty among themselves when not heading up or funded by politicized insitutions:

Candid Comments From Climate Scientists | Climate Science: Roger Pielke Sr.:

This is far from a rock-solid conclusion, no matter how much they talk like it’s just-so because I say-so and I am a who-so.

There are some interesting quotes from climate scientists in this article that highlight a large degree of uncertainty with respect to the climate system, and the human role in it, even among scientists closely involved with the IPCC reports. The long article focuses on the question

‘Why, despite steadily accumulating greenhouse gases, did the rise of the planet’s temperature stall for the past decade?”

Interesting quotes and text {rearranged to order the persons’ quoted; I highly recommend reading the entire article include [highlight added]:

Follow the money. Dissident scientists didn’t get funding in Stalinist Russia either.
