Ron Paul’s endorsement of Ken Cuccinelli for Virginia governor

In a moment of “wow”, Ron Paul has endorsed Republican Party candidate Ken Cuccinelli for Virginia governor, according to Politico.

to the surprise of some people, because there is a candidate from the Libertarian Party (Robert Starvis) who has been creeping up in the polls.

Politico plays up the surprise element in the article, but does allow through the reasons Ron Paul made this announcement:

“Ken Cuccinelli has always stood for smaller government and limited government,” writes Paul. “He has consistently and unapologetically worked with the Liberty movement in Virginia. His stand against ObamaCare shows he is willing to stand up to Washington’s continued abuses on our individual liberties.”

He quotes his friend Donna Holt, a libertarian activist, calling Cuccinelli “the most pro-liberty legislator and Attorney General we have ever had in Virginia.”

In another paragraph find the reason Politico and some third-party boosters may have thought Sarvis would be the better liberty-supporting candidate, and some self-identified libertarians might get confused as to why. Note the transparent spin in the choice by Politico’s writers in deciding to use the expression “should be” and “concerned”:

Libertarian Robert Sarvis could be a spoiler in next month’s off-year election, attracting what should be Republican voters concerned about the nominee’s strong opposition to gay marriage and abortion.

For one thing, that statement shows the Politico, like almost all of statist media, is clueless about who libertarians are in general, and how libertarians think on many specifics.

The two issues they mention are telling.

ABORTION VS HUMAN LIFE

On the first one, apparently a growing percentage of libertarians are strongly opposed to killing a baby in the womb as much as outside the womb, on libertarian grounds. The reasoning is the same for every pro-lifer and pro-life organization mission statement that I know of, and that is that a new human life begins at conception. There are atheists that despise this brutal practice as well. The pro-abortion organizations and the groups that make lots of money in the abortion industry (including the profitable government-supported “non-profits”), they use the false claim that it is a religious idea.

But the truth is that opposition to killing babies inside the womb is the same thing as killing babies outside the womb. This is the motivator. And libertarians claim the idea that all aggression against individuals is wrong, that all uses of force is illegitimate except for defense against aggression. Apply this to babies inside a mother’s womb and you can only be pro-life.

GAY MARRIAGE” AND RENT-SEEKING

Here is another one that confuses some of the younger libertarians, who think supporting a candidate who favors “gay marriage” is the same as supporting freedom.

But it’s not like they are supporting freedom. For one thing, the libertarian view is that nobody and no government has any right to force you to associate with any other person or group, and that liberty is defined in terms of individual rights to be free from aggression and force by others.

That means discrimination for any reason is a universal right. It is an illegitimate use of force to apply it in favor of one group (as the current U.S. federal government does for homosexuals) while denying it to another (like they have done against Christians often, for example). Government discrimination is always and forever wrong; individual discrimination is a right. Banning individual discrimination is impossible anyway, without telepathy, but they do it anyway.

That said, seeking government marriage privileges, or forcing you to do it, is wrong. I had to marry legally to arrange my wife’s visa. Before anybody says hypocrite, say first whether you use federal reserve notes to pay for things in the store, or whether some of your tax-and-inflation-taxes go to things you despise.

Seeking to get the government to approve same-sex marriage, though, is not not not a stance consistent with libertarian philosophy. It is creating additional government benefits for a boiler-plate contract and the subjection to obligations on the part of the “engaged” couple, answerable to government control.

In other words, the proper stance would be to seek ways to get government out of controlling marriage and its supposed definition, even though “same-sex marriage” has always been an oxymoron in the English language.

There are other extra-governmental reasons not to “oppose gay marriage”, but to bring open discussion to the merits of same-sex pairings, free of coercion. That is a different topic. Government has no business deciding who should have what, do what, or do without what….

Liberal State Bar Spends Three Years Going After Lawyer For Being Conservative Blogger: http://intellectualconservative.com/index.php/liberal-state-bar-spends-three

Conservatives must learn that government is not their friend, the warfare machine is not their friend.

With the recent NSA revelations, it is now public knowledge that the Big Brother surveillance state is already here, and with the IRS revelations we see that the Big Brother police state is fast oncoming. The counter-balance is the fast-rising awareness of the public in the United States, and spreading around the world, of this regime and the attacks on liberty.

But the powers that be, the “they”, are neither omniscient nor omnipotent. That is why “they” are still in the shadows, whoever they are. But it is becoming ever more apparent to ever more people that the average European did not push their leaders to homogenize, but their “elites” and their political class foisted it on them. Americans are ever more aware that the political class does not do their bidding. To Americans it is becoming more clear with each passing week, that the elected representatives they send to Washington and to their state capitals seem to obey other interests instead of their constituents.

Syria: America’s Waterloo?

Washington Is Insane — Paul Craig Roberts – PaulCraigRoberts.org:
http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2013/06/17/washington-is-insane-paul-craig-roberts/

There they go again. Washington DC is showing again that it doesn’t care what Americans think. They’re going to do in Syria what they did in Libya, they’re going to overthrow the regime. Or rather, they’re going to help their “enemies”, al Qaeda and its affiliates, overthrow the Syrian government.

North Africa seemed like a pushover, Egypt leading the way with American government-backed factions taking over at the expense, “incidentally”, of the Coptic Egyptians. A teller at a bank I did business with recently was from Egypt, and her brother was killed by this Arab Winter. Not much of a Spring, after all.

But now Americans are not the dupes we once were.

The next few years will be “interesting”, like the “interesting” of that old Chinese proverb (or was it a “curse”?)

I’m just as skeptical of Russian and Chinese politicians as I am of American politicians, but even with a skeptical filter the following quote from Russian Minister Lavrov just makes sense.

The Russians certainly know that Washington is lying. The Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said: “The [Assad] government, as the opposition is saying openly, is enjoying military success on the ground. The [Assad] regime isn’t driven to the wall. What sense is there for the regime to use chemical arms–especially in such small amounts.”

And now this:

Addendum: Russia says it will not allow Syria no-fly zones. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article35318.htm

Not pretty. Although I disagree with Paul Craig Roberts that a World War Three means the “end of life on earth”, I do agree that a total such war would end a very significant part of it. The Bible even says so, and talks about the valley of Megiddo requiring a very, very long time to recover from that last war of these modern times.

I think there are shadow governments influencing the visible ones that will try to keep damage to a minimum. High-level Russian military defectors have told us that the Russian military academies have taught their officers that a nuclear war is inevitable, and that the side that delivers the fist strike will win it.

At this time, however, in terms of interventionism and general foreign meddling beyond borders, the American government is the one engaging in criminal activities today in Syria, after showing in Libya that it has no compunction at all supporting armies that wipe out entire villages with a pathological indifference.

This may be the war in which America meets its judgment.

Jeremiah 2:34
Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.

Revelation 18:
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

Fiscal Cliff: The Reality

December 6, 2012
Ron Paul at the 2007 National Right to Life Co...

Ron Paul at the 2007 National Right to Life Convention, held at Crown Center Hyatt Regency in Kansas City, MO; June 15, 2007, (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

The analysis of articles like this one is basic Keynesianism, which means it’s an ignorant piece of crap that it takes a bunch of years in college to learn how to make it sound sophisticated:
http://www.news.com.au/business/markets/fiscal-cliff-whats-a-fiscal-cliff-and-whys-it-called-a-fiscal-cliff-fiscal-cliff/story-e6frfm30-1226531233642

The article made it sound like a “compromise” between taxes and spending would solve the problem coming up on January 1 of 2013.

When has such a “compromise” ever solved “the problem” in the 100 years since the Fed got hold of the currency and banking systems? This is the same problem that has come back again and again every 10 or 20 years, it is the same circular route they’ve gone over, again and again, all these “compromises” only kicked the can down the road some more.

Here’s a real breakdown with details in the clear about what’s really wrong and what’s going to happen on January 1:

http://www.moneyandmarkets.com/transcript-the-great-fiscal-cliff-of-2012-13-part-i-4-50405

(Another perspective comes from not just Patrick Buchanan but others who agree with telling the House to just call the White House bluff. The President is pointing the new media gun at them to extort his will, that’s why all the campaigning after the campaign, but he has a LOT more to lose in the long run, if the Republicans had any guts, or any genuine honesty about all this).

The real “fiscal cliff” is the (for now) slow plummeting in the value of the US dollar, a process that’s been going on from the time the U.S. Congress gave a private bankers’ cartel monopoly control over the United States currency.

THE REAL PROBLEM:

The real problem is too much government spending. Letting the rich invest their resources is NOT the problem. The real problem is too much government doing what government should never do.

Government spending robs the economy of whatever it would otherwise produce with those resources. Instead of the people making their individual decisions to mutual benefit, this government wealth confiscation to get resources to non-sustainable demand, private economy and jobs lose out.

Republicans are addicted to this too, which is why they rush to “surrender” to the Democrats so much to avoid the crises. They pontificate and posture until there is a very public and publicized crisis so they can get cover for caving.

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY ESTABLISHMENT BLEW OFF TWO GREAT OPPORTUNITIES

The Republicans had two opportunities to prove they were honest.

One was in the debt ceiling “crisis” of 2011. The Republicans in the House could have said “Just say no”. In fact they did until the Powers That Be (Boehner) got four of the holdouts to cave in, including the “controversial” Allen West. Maybe they told them if they didn’t they’d cave in their head for them.

Surrender did not suit the (retired) Colonel Allen West very well in the debt ceiling fight, and it did him no good in his re-election campaign. It could be he won in his district in the real numbers, how do 4,000 votes suddenly appear on one side of an election to flip the results?

In fact, the presidential vote looks suspicious. Note that the voters did NOT give any win to the President like the yappers on televised yap shows say, it gave Washington the same stalemated situation they have had.

Boehner is pushing to cave and they will pretty much.

And we will continue our fall off the real fiscal cliff, the fall of the dollar combined with the attack on the economic prosperity engine undertaken by Imperial Washington, now occupied by political enemies of the free market and political liberties…

The other chance they had was the candidacy of Ron Paul and his realistic, pragmatic program for addressing the root problems in Washington. The Party adopted a couple of the most important economic platform points as a nod to reality, the audit of the Fed, and a nod to the gold standard.

In other words, as a Party, if the platform means anything, they admitted they were NOT doing the right thing.

But they also showed they were not serious about being honest with the way the chair broke their own rules to ride roughshod over the Ron Paul delegates and changing rules to keep them down and keep real conservatives out.

Campaign for Liberty

After nearly 30 years of fighting the out-of-control Federal Reserve in Washington, my time in Congress is rapidly coming to an end. But what a way to go out!

I am so pleased to tell you about what could be the crowning achievement of my legislative efforts – passing Audit the Fed and exposing its corruption of our money supply and economy.

Earlier this year, my “Audit the Fed” bill passed the House 327 to 98 and had a record number of cosponsors in the Senate.

And because of its overwhelming popularity, Audit the Fed has been added as an official plank of the Republican Party platform.

Our chances of passing Audit the Fed are the best they’ve ever been.

You and I can make history – and help change the course of the country – by passing Audit the Fed through Congress.

Please take a look at the email below from Campaign for Liberty President John Tate for more details.

Campaign for Liberty is on the frontlines of this battle, so I am personally asking you to help them finish this fight with an incredible victory.

Afterwards, please forward this email to your friends and family.

For Liberty,

Ron Paul

Paul Craig Roberts is WRONG about Hugo Chavez!

October 18, 2012

I enjoy many of the writings from Paul Craig Roberts, but in this one he was so expansively wrong on a subject that means something to me personally, because my wife is from Honduras. He lifts up Hugo Chavez, oppressor and dictator of Venezuela, and a pusher of leftist dictatorships across Latin America, who was stopped cold when he tried to take over Honduras for the richest people on the planet, the clique that put him in power. (You thought he financed his own ascendancy to power?)

http://www.thedailybell.com/28151/Paul-Craig-Roberts-Dont-Vote-for-Evil

Maybe Bush was an undercover emissary of Satan, but Paul Craig Roberts saying that Chavez “helps the people” shows he does not know what he’s talking about! Chavez has run 99% of Venezuelans into the ground worse off than they were before, and the 1% are the ones that rode his coat tails into confiscating all the wealth they could get from the ahem, “rich” to give to his friends, like he did when he swept his cronies into the Venezuelan oil company and the workers and the unions went on strike to protest.

My wife is from Honduras, and my ex-wife is from the Dominican Republic. I lived as a missionary in three different countries and visited three others. I have spent a lot of my time with people in the by-ways and the highways and helping the poor.

I followed the Hondurans’ brave blow back against tyranny in July, 2009 even as the world press LIED KNOWINGLY about them and the whole world condemned them. They called it a congressional-judicial “coup”. (If there is no “legitimate” way to remove a president from power that has become a dictator, it is already a “coup” and dictatorship, which Zelaya’s rule was).

They changed history and pushed back at the onslaught of leftist tyranny then. El Salvador saw it (after what I call Honduras’ cleanest, most-watched elections in its history) and their former guerrilla president said “Thanks anyway but no thanks” to ALBA and Chavez.

Now also Paraguay has removed their leftist demagogue dictator-wannabe by constitutional vote by the representatives who also were elected, hello!

Democracy is a meaningless term if the people elect a temporary king and absolute ruler every presidential term. If “democracy” is anything good, it is not a “divine right rule” by any “elected” president!

That’s why some great writers have said democracy is “two wolves and a sheep voting on what’s for dinner”!

From the article by Paul Craig Roberts:

Chavez is one of the American right-wing’s favorite bogyman because Chavez helps the people instead of bleeding them for the rich, which is Washington’s way. While Washington has driven all but the one percent into the ground, Chavez cut poverty in half, doubled university enrollment and provided healthcare and old-age pensions to millions of Venezuelans for the first time.

I seriously, very seriously, doubt Chavez has “cut poverty in half” except by his own government’s cooked-up numbers. I have seen analyses of the voting numbers in his elections that show strong evidence that there are more voters on the rolls there than are feasible for the population. It reminds me of the counties in the United States where there were more votes cast than there are registered voters, Florida in 2000 and 20008,  and Ohio in 2009, favoring both sides of the two-party power cartel.

Latins are not so gullible as Americans. But Americans are waking up. But they are awakening to the hubris of justifying American military expeditions and interventions  by trumpeting how much better political and economic freedoms are treated in the US compared to other nations.

But liberty-minded writers in America should not blind themselves to any rights violations anywhere. And appreciating Chavez for saying what many Latin Americans believe about American dominance in the sphere, even in demagoguery, is not the same as misunderstanding the economic and literal beatings that the poor have received in his country.

Some of the illusory wealth is not just from oil, but from drug trafficking. Venezuela’s government take would plunge big-time if the U.S. were to decriminalize drugs. It’s instructive to note that once upon a time the Medellin Cartel offered to pay off the entire national debt for Columbia and quit the trade if they would just leave them alone.

Columbia has handed over its own citizens for charges brought in Chavista courts, but Venezuela has refused to do anything about one Columbian warrant for the arrest of one Venezuelan general for drug trafficking, even posted to Interpol. The Chavista government has not bothered to respond in any way at all.

Little wonder he was elected to a fourth term as president despite the many millions of dollars Washington poured into the election campaign of Chavez’s opponent.

Who knows whether Chavez was “elected” in any fair count of the votes, because his government manufactures the electronic voting machines they use. A lot of those touch-vote machines were caught red-handed rigging the vote many places here in the States were made by that company, or a subsidiary, as revealed by Bev Harris, of Black Box Voting. Check out that site.

While Washington and the EU preach neoliberalism - the supremacy of capital over labor - South American politicians who reject Washington’s way are being elected and reelected in Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Bolivia.

Those countries also rejected free market solutions and freedoms, and they embraced top-down command dictatorship with Chavez, and FOUGHT AGAINST HONDURAS’ REJECTION OF FASCIST SOCIALISM when Honduras removed its dictator auto-coup caudillo piti-Chavez wannabe in 2009.

Chavez offered $3 million (dollars) to Micheletti, poured so much money into the country to pay anti-freedom protestors that the Honduran lempira rose TEN PERCENT! against the American dollar! And of course the corrupt piti-Chavez Zelaya is opposing Michael Strong’s attempt to help Honduras –AND THE ELECTED CONGRESS-  with the special economic zones inside Honduras.

It was the Ecuadoran government, not Washington, that had the moral integrity to grant political asylum to WikiLeaks‘ Julian Assange. The only time Washington grants asylum is when it can be used to embarrass an opponent.

The one bright light among this cartel of dictators is the granting of asylum to Julian Assange, but you can bet every dollar you have without risk, that this loose leftist alliance will not grant asylum to anybody that might embarrass them, except the ones that would, don’t want to anyway. If Comandante Zero were alive and asked for asylum, do you think they would grant it? If Zelaya seized power again in Honduras, you think they would grant asylum to Micheletti?

A bold Venezuelan media personality and journalist exposed a plot for serial assassinations or reporters and politicians in Honduras to be blamed on the Honduran post-election government (of 2009). It has happened as she predicted. Hondurans still don’t like the would-be caudillo or the brains of his operation, Patricia Rodas.

They should be embarrassed by the de-facto asylum of hundreds of Venezuelans and others from those regimes that have escaped to the United States and other places.

Like hundreds of Cuban doctors after Zelaya lost his dictatorship and who quietly asked Honduras for asylum when they were pulled out when Zelaya’s coup was stopped.

Who wants asylum in Venezuela?

In contrast to the leadership that is emerging in South America as more governments there reject the traditional hegemony of Washington, the US political elite, whether Republican or Democrat, are aligned with the rich against the American people.

It’s time smart people start realizing that the hegemony of some of “the rich” in America has a divide and conquer plan. George Soros, billionaire from manipulating currencies and market around the world that drove more millions into poverty that would have been, for example, supports that gang of leftist thugs that want to take over the Americas.

I’ve seen good stuff by this Paul Craig Roberts guy and what he’s saying about Latin America makes no sense at all!

The Republican candidate, Mitt Romney, has promised to cut taxes on the rich, taxes which are already rock bottom, to block any regulation of the gangsters in the financial arena and to privatize Social Security and Medicare.

That’s right, but Obama’s taxes are already proving a worse burden than what you would imagine Romney doing. He’s not only raising taxes on the people who invest in businesses that provide jobs for people like my wife and our children, he forced down our throats the biggest “regressive” tax increase against the POOR and middle class of all history with the abominable stepwise medical industry nationalization fiasco!

Sure, there are a precious few jobs doing software to handle all the thousands of rules in tens of thousands of pages of commands from the imperial capital of D.C. but it’s pulling resources from the free market. It’s outrageous to just talk about Romney helping this clique of rich, we all can see the obvious, that Obama helps them more because the middle class is shrinking faster under these measures than even with Bush and TARP –which Obama pushed for too!

Privatizing Social Security and Medicare means to divert the people’s tax dollars to the profits of private corporations. In Republican hands, privatization means only one thing: to cut the people’s benefits and to use the people’s tax dollars to increase the profits in the private sector. Romney’s policy is just another policy that sacrifices the people to the one percent.

SS and Medicare are a mess financed by a Ponzi scheme idea and depends on the whims of politicians and soon, health care panels that get the older folks free counseling on making sure they know how to die with a false “dignity”. I want the investors of private corporations to be free to make good profit for products they sell to people who want them instead of products forced down our throats from the imperial capital of anti-capitalist D.C.

Unfortunately, the Democrats, if a lesser evil, are still an evil. There is no reason to vote for the reelection of a president who codified into law the Bush regime’s destruction of the US Constitution, who went one step further and asserted the power to murder US citizens without due process of law and who has done nothing to stop the exploitation of the American people by the one percent.

Lesser evil? The Democrats are the party of slavery, Jim Crow, the socialist plantation, racist demagoguery, robbing their neighbors, two world wars, the Gulf of Tonkin, the Great Depression, economy-crippling tax hikes, the Federal Reserve, prenatal infanticide, religious suppression, free speech opponents, the United Nations! It’s the Republicans I’d call a “lesser evil”. The Dems are even bigger into the crony of crony capitalism, which they cover up by yelling louder about the poor and populating the traditional news sources with 97% Democrat-party as registered, even!

And remember, that government-media complex has been uplifting the war themes all along.

Yes, God blessed them somewhat during the earlier half of the 20th century because a lot of them sincerely wanted to help the poor. But then they became

As Gerald Celente says in the Autumn Issue of the Trends Journal, when confronted with the choice between two evils, you don’t vote for the lesser evil. You boycott the election and do not vote. “Lesser or greater, evil is evil.”If Americans had any sense, no one would vote in the November election. Whoever wins the November election, it will be a defeat for the American people. An Obama or Romney win stands in stark contrast with Chavez’s win. Here is how Lula da Silva, the popular former president of Brazil summed it up: “Chavez’s victory is a victory for all the peoples of Latin America. It is another blow against imperialism.” Washington, making full use of the almighty dollar, was unable to buy the Venezuelan election.

Chavez’ purported election victory, lifted up by the same ex-president who said it wasn’t worth it trying to help the North Koreans get relief from their tyrant rulers, and gave Zimbabwe to Mugabe, is not a victory for all Latin America.

Hondurans hates him with a passion pretty much, except for a handful that knows how to make a lot of noise and get a lot of press.

And how do they get so much coverage? Because BIG, REALLY BIG MONEY finances them that’s why.

My wife when younger, when they saw her as a popular poll watcher, was once offered one of those plush and lavishly paid leftist-activist jobs, a chance to travel to conferences around the world, expenses paid, nice hotels, if she just joined them.

Better the kind of expanded free zone idea that the Honduran Congress just voted for.

IRS and the Fourth Amendment

July 21, 2012

The abuse by not just the IRS, but by all the government agencies spying on all the rest of us is an outrageous abuse of power, used by administrations of both parties for many, many decades.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/03/11/AR2008031100380.html

Maybe there’s a reason that the media under Clinton, Bush, Obama, has been mum about the worst abuses. Never mind the incidents where it’s murky who did what and people who have been psyched into the “partisan” mind-set can defend either side, like with the CIA agent supposedly getting “outed”.

But the Washington Post let show some things in one article about Spitzer, but it did not get picked up by the media. (Maybe they saw the implications for themselves?)

The FBI placed a surveillance team on Spitzer at the Mayflower Hotel for the first time on Jan. 26, after concluding from a wiretapped conversation that he might try to meet with a prostitute when he traveled to Washington to attend a black-tie dinner, the source said Tuesday.

Okay, that was the first time for a surveillance team, but did they have a warrant? Further down in the article:

The January stakeout at the Mayflower came roughly two weeks after a federal judge authorized investigators to intercept the escort service’s telephone calls and text messages.

A team of agents from New York and Washington was hurriedly dispatched to the hotel after an escort service employee was heard on a wiretap calling the front desk to say that flowers were being sent to Spitzer and wanting to confirm that he would be there, said a source knowledgeable about the investigation who requested anonymity in order to speak freely.

So how and why did they get the judge to order the wiretap?

In this case, the bank’s report was triggered by Spitzer’s attempt to structure a $10,000 cash transaction into three parts, according to a senior law enforcement official familiar with the evidence. When investigators looked more closely at the transactions, they learned that the recipients were apparent shell companies associated with the Emperors Club.

As of a long time ago it’s not just the Mob that knows banks are required by law to report to FinCEN any transactions of $10,000 or more, so the “authorities” got a law passed criminalizing “structuring”. But the law does much more than just that, it requires banks to report anything that might look like “structuring”. If you withdraw just under that much, or make three withdrawals that add up to a little more than that, the bank might want to avoid its own trouble with the authorities by reporting you.

Plus maybe there’s more to this than was even in that Washington Post article, because Governor Spitzer was saying he was going to investigate Wall Street for the massive crimes and frauds perpetrated in the financial meltdown that resulted in TARP.

Did somebody talk to North Fork Bank? Was somebody at North Fork Bank implicated? Was this the very first time that Spitzer had done this? I think not because it was revealed during this time that he had been a regular client of the escort service that provided the girl for the trip to Washington. So why then?

Investigators have identified at least eight instances in which Spitzer used the Emperors Club over the past several years, this official said, adding that they are still examining records to determine the scope of his activity.

But “structuring” isn’t the only thing:

Funny, Spitzer made use of such abusive laws when he was a prosecutor, so it’s payback. But payback is still pending for the financial crimes committed against the rest of us.

Bad week for Obama, one thing after another

A good article summing up the list of the embarrassing things that happened that exposed the president this week..

HURT: Brutal week for Obama, the worst of his presidency – Washington Times: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/mar/29/hurt-was-week-was-obama-style/

Rivals and “conservative” talk show hosts are lying about Ron Paul’s straw poll wins

February 15, 2012

Here again, there is another lie repeated:

Santorum: ‘It’s a two-person race’ – Washington Times:
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/feb/12/santorum-country-needs-richie-cunningham/

They’re saying that the Ron Paul campaign is paying for people’s tickets to vote in straw poll contests like the one last year at CPAC, the California Young Republicans, and a great number of other such polls.

This is just a lie, because the bulk of Ron Paul‘s numbers “on the ground” and in events like that come from the enthusiastic support of folks who are just tired of the same slop, all packaged with pretty brand names. They open up the other candidates’ products and get the same slop they always got, but they open up Ron Paul’s and it’s the genuine real McCoy.

Jack Abramoff names Gingrich as corrupt and flip-flopping chameleon

January 29, 2012

Michael Savage has lost credibility with some of his attacks on Ron Paul, but Jack Abramoff now calls himself a libertarian. He named names in his book and one of the names was Gingrich:

Abramoff credits [Michael] Savage for prison epiphany:
http://www.wnd.com/2012/01/abramoff-credits-savage-for-prison-epiphany/

He said Gingrich was unpredictable, flip-flopper, and one of the most corrupt in Washington.

I don’t know who was thinking what when they went after Jack Abramoff, but now he’s naming names and telling on all the bad guys and blowing the whistle on the whole system.
