I used to sit in the atheist chair

I used to sit in the atheist chair, but determined to keep my mind open to whatever the truth was, and was dragged along by science, facts, logic, history to the Bible.

The Creator has a right to laugh at those who plot against him. Isa 33:22 For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us.

It is ridiculous to question the truth. Cellular life, DNA, appearing for no reason from the dirt plus water plus sunlight, entropy violated, 20 anthropic principle physical universe values fine-tuned, spiral galaxies, dozens of objects that contradict the red shift distance calculation, Pasteur’s research showing life cannot come from non-life, Mendel showing that traits are inherited, not so spontaneous, mathematicians showing that DNA amino-acids spontaneously sequencing just so cannot happen, blood clotting requiring 12 steps of specific chemistry, most involving irreducibly specific compounds that cannot “evolve” stepwise, too many benevolent mutations required, polystrate fossils, polonium halos, soft tissue in T-rex fossils with the stink of rotting flesh, the Lensky E Coli experiment where the little cells adapt just like from the beginning and E Coli is still E Coli, creation scientist Russ Humphreys predicting the outer planets’ magnetic field strength spot on based on Genesis One and all of NASAs geniuses missing by orders of magnitude, evidence of the Flood all around with shared flood memories in the most remote cultures, carvings in ancient temples depicting dinosaurs, Ica stones, uniqueness of Earth.

See, creationists like to talk about science, atheists like to talk about religion. Creation scientists debate with facts, anti-creationists debate with ad-hominems. Creation scientists rely on the scientific method, Stephen Gould said We don’t need the scientific method anymore.

But a Darwinist himself, Lewontin, blatantly admits that anti-creationists don’t care about the evidence for or against God or the Bible:

Lewtontin: “We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs, in spite of its failure to fulfill many of its extravagant promises of health and life, in spite of the tolerance of the scientific community for unsubstantiated just-so stories, because we have a prior commitment, a commitment to materialism. It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations, no matter how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is an absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door”.

The “human family tree”?

So the genetics the Creation-deniers said proved Darwinism (punctuated equilibrium with no evidence for punctuation) found Adam and and Eve but they’re still afraid to admit the obvious. They have NO FRIGGIN’ IDEA how long ago those two lived no matter what they come up with. There’s the Biblical genealogy and then there are the other genealogies from other lands that point the same direction that they never let loose.

The first guy that compiled all the world’s flood stories said he thought it would prove the Biblical flood was just another myth, and by so doing showed that it was NOT a myth.

Darwin’s idea has taken hits from every major advance in biology, biochemistry, biophysics, but blind faith does not need evidence. It’s like the co-worker that once responded to the (still current) 15-year cooling trend with “Global cooling is part of global warming.” You cannot make this stuff up.

First, Darwin himself admitted that the fossils were testament against his theory.

Then Pasteur proved you cannot get life from non-life.

Gregor Mendel proved that a plant inherits its traits from its progenitors.

Watson and Crick discover DNA, a massive molecular paradigm with intricate design and structure a nd flexibility to blueprint all biology, built from just four amino acids (“letters”) with a completely SYMBOLIC language with no direct natural relation to the biology that it designs.

The DNA is so contradictory to the idea of spontaneous life from dirt that Crick couldn’t believe it. Being at least honest about that much, but unwilling to admit the Original Origins Theory that the greats of science history held, which dethrones smarter-than-thou I-said-so scientists, he says it was comets. Everybody laughed at that, so he said “It was aliens!” Everybody laughed at that too, but with time some of them demanded they had to fill the gaps with aliens. Did he even think of the one Great Extraterrestrial that pop-sci today avoids like the plague? We don’t know, but he never said so.

(At least the head of the human genome project finally said okay, yes, there is evidence of design here.. But then said that the God that intervened to create life by design, would not actually intervene in the creation. True, kid you not.)

So Drake pulled out a formula and with a few sweeps of the pen had the galaxy crawling with life out of corners, and Carl Sagan jumped in and helped the feds finance the Great Search for We Are Not Alone. Michael Crichton would later give a speech that should have had everybody cackling wildly at it. Nope. Instead we got ten thousand “science fiction” movies. The title of his speech shows the fairy tale origins story: “Aliens cause global warming”.

Then Stanley and Miller create an intelligently designed experiment to create amino acids from methane and other ingredients using electric sparks, from which mix they have to immediately remove the amino acids to save them from immediate destruction, thereby proving that amino acids could not appear spontaneously in the chemical mix they needed to make them, and so they announce the opposite! I am not making this up! And dozens of science articles were written and experiments done everybody repeated that the experiment that showed amino acids cannot get created spontaneously from this mix “proved” that it could.

And then mathematicians start taking those amino acids (all left-handed none right-handed) and calculate the odds of a spontaneous line-up, like all those monkeys with taking “as long as it takes” to type out the Encyclopedia Britannica (with much less specified complexity than a genome by the way). And the mathematicians calculate, yep, for one itsy bitsy single solitary DNA molecule to just happen like that, even given the ingredients and the conditions, you need MORE TIME THAN THE UNIVERSE IS OLD, by about a gazillion times longer!

Mathematicians have a very exotic word for odds like that: “impossible”. Or sometimes, “not gonna happen”.

The biologists retorted with “We’re smarter than you! We’re the biologists! We’re the paleontologists! No way you’re going to mess with our trade secrets! The “divine foot in the door” is “unacceptable”! The mathematicians retorted back by putting their figurative hand on their own holy books and swore that they would never question the inviolate dogmatic faith of the high priests of modern biology but that the biologists had to come up with something better that did not challenge the mathematicians’ faith in the dogma!

So the biologists just announced that it was not chance anymore that generated life. What was it then? “Never mind, we’ll get back to you, we know it’s true, we don’t need to do any five-step scientific method on this one, someday we’ll show you, just accept it by faith (but don’t use that word)..”

And they discover bio-molecular super-machines that cannot be deconstructed and that have functions that have nothing to with any of their parts. But they come back and do a thought experiment that creates more problems and multiplies the odds against, but that doesn’t matter, because they’re smarter than you.

Then the “trade secret” of paleontology comes out of the closet, because a biology hot shot has figured out that to prove “punctuated equilibrium” he doesn’t need any friggin’ evidence for the “punctuation” because the “trade secret” is that there is no record of it in the fossils.

Then we hear that there is SOFT TISSUE in the dinosaur bones, included obvious and visible blood cells. So contrary to all of what science knows about organic tissue exposed to the elements, they announce that they are so surprised that red blood cells can survive for 68 million years! You cannot make this stuff up! And they ridicule people that believe in a rabbit’s foot!

Then we discover tucked in between other stuff that the dinosaur digs up in Montana actually still emit a very strong stench of rotting flesh! But I guess they’re hoping nobody notices that! They might question the trade secrets.

“in the beginning, God…”

FDA Tells Google-Backed 23andMe to Halt DNA Test Service – Bloomberg:
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-11-25/fda-tells-google-backed-23andme-to-halt-dna-test-service.html#!

UnitedHealth Group Inc. (UNH), the largest publicly traded U.S. health insurer, raised concern in a March 2012 report about the accuracy and affordability of the tests. Such types of genetic tests may become a $25 billion annual market in the U.S. within a decade, highlighting the need to identify which work best, the insurer said at the time.

Mu bonito, my Hispanic family half would say, UnitedHealth is all so worried about the little guys. That’s why they when you make a claim, they ask you to look again if the payout should be bigger than what you asked for, right….

Aliens, Michael Crichton, and Faster Than Light

An reaction to comments by a UFO researcher:

THE LEAP TO ALIENS

The leap from “I am matter and ..matter is made from energy” and what should be the self-evident fact of “consciousness …separate from my physical matter self”, to a galaxy replete with alien sentient beings has a great logic void gap. Nothing connects the dots, there’s no testable theory there about how you get from point A to point B. Personal experience, as subjective as it often is, has its evidentiary worth, but it’s not enough for that.

The flying machine you say you saw (I do believe it) “could be ..human made”. But you offer no reason to say it could not be a human technology.

Now some human inventions in my opinion have been divinely inspired by God himself, such as the Guttenberg press, which accelerated the pace of knowledge sharing, and the Internet, with its potential, to which God no doubt blinded some of the NWO dictatorship operatives, in the fulfillment of Daniel 12:4, that “knowledge shall be increased” in the “time of the end”.

I have no formed opinion on crop circles and don’t know enough about then that isn’t from sources I can trust on the matter. Some ufology sources have useful information, but some of those have misinformation on other matters, so I won’t discuss them for that reason.

There is of course the elephant in the room when we discuss “higher intelligence” and extraterrestrial life, and “alien ancestry”, and that is God himself, the Creator of the universe, and the host of angels that serve him and the smaller number of demons (aka “fallen angels”) that fight him.

MICHAEL CRICHTON

As to Michael Crichton, he is much less a cretin than some of the examples of the ufologists and Drake equations fans I’ve come across. A friend introduced me to a UFO magazine once, and you could have changed the cover on it to say New Age Superstition and it would be hard to tell the difference.

SETI, favorite charity of Carl Sagan, was founded by Mr. Drake, he of the Drake Equation. Crichton totally unmasked the formula as pure blind faith.

FASTER THAN LIGHT

That this is something to consider is valid. Einstein is not God, and special relativity is not Holy Writ. His cousin (and wife) had to even help him with the math of it, no doubt. Quantum physics even introduces a mechanism for a truly “free will” to enter into physics equations if they’ll deign to let a divine foot in the door. We shall see whether that works. Don’t hold your breath.

Quantum entanglement experiments have shown that there is something interacting with what we can measure that communicates at an apparently (to us) “infinite” speed, meaning instantly.

I was in college at the end of the 1960s, and was fascinated by some of the areas of scientific study that scientists seemed panicked about researching for fear of ridicule I suppose, or maybe feeling ridiculous. They shunned studies of telepathy-related phenomena. This led me to wonder about other things, including prophecy, which led me to the Bible as an unbeliever, and eventually with other considerations to a Bible believer, based on facts, science, history, prophetic fulfillment, and other things that pointed to that direction.

I may look at some of your links but my time is divided and limited so no promises, but the above will show you what I have found not only through personal experience but through careful study, and the testimony of science and history.

Pastor Jeffress is wrong: Billions?! O’Reilly likes Bible doubters

English: Adam and Eve were both naked & were not ashamed, as in Genesis 2:25: “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” (KJV) illustration from the 1728 Figures de la Bible; illustrated by Gerard Hoet (1648–1733) and others, and published by P. de Hondt in The Hague; image courtesy Bizzell Bible Collection, University of Oklahoma Libraries (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

This is my reaction to this story at Christian News:

http://christiannews.net/2013/03/07/pastor-jilted-by-tebow-under-fire-by-renowned-creationist-for-undermining-word-of-god-on-oreilly/

Pastor Jeffress CANNOT believe in the Bible “cover to cover” if he does not believe its historical accuracy in the straightforward reading of it. The six-day creation is emphasized scripturally in 21 different ways right there in Genesis One, by the word “day” itself, PLUS the ordinal numbering of the day (the 2nd day is the day after the 1st day), PLUS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY the emphasis given to the 24-hour day as we know it by the use of the “evening and the morning”.

Make no mistake: Jesus believed in the Creation as told in Genesis, it’s plain to see and clearly shown. He talked about Adam and Eve, and He who made them.

Wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing have infiltrated congregations and are teaching doctrines of devils.

Jeremiah 2 shows you that Darwinian (and neo-Darwinian) evolution are just ancient pagan myths, a “stock art my father” and a rock “hath brought be forth”. Nothing new under the sun. This is a materialistic superstition of modern pagans (atheists) who cling to these dogmas so as to escape believing in God.

Besides, the facts of science itself has brought 10s and 100s of thousands of hard physical scientists to faith in God. Polonium halos, polystrate fossils, inverted sedimentary layers, sea shells covering the land surface in every conceivable corner of the world, the Cambrian explosion, the fossil record testifying to original special creation of each kind, the spectacular design of the purely symbolic digital coded language of DNA, the spot-on prediction of the magnetic field strength of Saturn and Uranus by young-earth Creation scientist Russ Humphreys (putting to shame all the official dogma-enforcing NASA scientists –and prediction based on Genesis One)…

The list is tens of thousands of proofs of the precise accuracy of the word of God and the facts make fools out of the smarter-than-thou snotty-nosed class that have to revise their own dogmatic just-so blabber every couple of years because the FACTS keep proving them wrong over and over again.

Animation of the structure of a section of DNA...

DNA is a biochemical analogue of a memory chip with programming. mRNA, RNA, is like the hardware that interprets the machine-language instructions for the epigenetic environment and the cellular machinery.

The DNA itself is a recording of a written coded language. Computers today store all information in bits, charges of “zero” and “one” in magnetic or optic media. A gene is stored in a DNA molecule in a medium of the arrangement of nucleotides linked in a chain. The A, C, T, G nucleotides are the ONLY letters in the completely digitized SYMBOLIC language to store the data.

The clincher for me is that the language in the DNA has NOTHING to do with the eventual effect it has in the cell. Run source code through the CPU and the machine does nothing, or freezes, or stops. Source code has to be translated. So does DNA.

It’s mind-boggling. A computer has to have a programmer. DNA indeed has one:

Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.(Psalm 139:16)

That verse actually exposes the modern counterfeit translations. One guy once asked me why I changed the words in my quote of the verse to make it “look like” DNA. I didn’t. The other modern versions DO change the words to make it NOT look like DNA.

Darwinian evolution is nothing new though. It’s a very old idea that Satan used Darwin to cloak in modern lingo:

Jeremiah 2:27 Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.

That verse in Jeremiah 2, part of the introduction of the book of prophecies of the judgment coming to Israel for such beliefs, actually shows that (1) the beliefs, that life “came forth” from rocks that were eroded and scorched and melted into the primeval ooze, are NOT a “discovery” of the 18th and 19th centuries, but were there way back in the effort to avoid God searing their conscience, and (2) the belief that humans are evolved from lesser animals like “stock”, is also an ancient myth.

They modern academic ruling class censors this history, along with the history of unions, the Roosevelt statist policies that made the Great Depression much worse and longer than it had to be, the criminal actions of the Federal Reserve and its traitorous passage in 1913 in the US Congress.

They hide the fact that Karl Marx included a “Graduated” income tax in his Communist Manifesto platform, plus a “central bank” in every nation of the world. This is the anti-capitalist? Sneaking in a policy of private-sector Wall Street types and international banksters to control the world’s currency, interest rates, mortgages, and economies?

But did Mao Tse-Tung push economics or even Communist Party doctrines into the first things he pushed into his schools after taking over? Nah, he pushed evolution as the first priority in education in China.

Jesus believed in the six-day Creation, too:

Matthew 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

So did Paul:

1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Secular creation myths

English: Amino Acids

English: Amino Acids (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Some people can’t bring themselves to believe that somebody turned water into wine or that water covered the earth for a few weeks once upon a time, but look at this list of myths they do believe in:

(1) that something came from nothing, the whole universe in fact,

(2) and that it made sure to create itself complete with more than a dozen specific physical constants, fine-tuned to tens of thousands of decimal places to make sure humanity would be able to thrive,

(3) that eager to make more complicated stuff from nothing, this stuff organized itself into nucleotides, which in turn eagerly pushed the left-handed amino acids into a strings composed of about 10 to the 9th nucleotides,

(4) to become the building blocks of DNA and all life,

(5) and of course creating a computer with a design programmed into a digital computer, complete with a machine language, and interpreter systems that carry out the instructions on how to fold more chains of the same stuff into proteins that organize the environment of this system,

(6) and that this turned into a vast array of all kinds of biological units that a-knows where to get its energy, b-has complicated system designs that process that energy, c-reproduces itself, d-many of which seek out other systems similar to itself to exchange design information, and e-repairs itself.

(7) Who also believes that global warming is an immediate danger to the planet because Al Gore‘s beachfront property will be flooded,

(8) That Drake’s equation is some kind of scientific formula,

(9) That even though the sun makes a difference of up to 50 degrees a day in temperature, that they can turn on the furnace and heat up the atmosphere more than the sun can,

(10) and that knowing the difference between men and women is like thinking that the races are different, in spite of the fact that the “races” are a bit of melanin only, and a couple of trivial items, whereas the sexes are an entire chromosome different…

France orders probe after rat study links GM corn, cancer

France orders probe after rat study links GM corn, cancer:
http://www.thejournal.ie/france-genetically-modified-corn-rats-cancer-601499-Sep2012/

So with the FDA in the USA requiring endless studies and never-ending inspections, and requiring all kinds of labels and warnings, how did genetically modified foods get such clear sailing?

It’s reasonable to believe this study, the genes in corn are what makes it corn, but it’s the combination of them really, plus the epigenetics around it. The DNA molecule itself is a think of awesome complexity by itself, but in combination? Tinkering with it is a great unknown.

And so what else is hidden behind crony government?
