Behind AP story: Is flap a concerted PR blitz to save AP’s damaged reputation?

June 5, 2013

Hey, got another “rest of the story” kind of thing here.

A commenter self-identified as “raoulleraoulle” posted this on a story about the Department of Justice charging AP a million dollars for the information it requested with a FOIA, meaning what emails and records it took from AP:

Hmm this plus the phone tapping story are adding up to look like a concerted effort to make us regain trust in the Associated Press as being a defender of freedom and on the publics side.
Don’t believe it, this is propaganda at it’s most obvious.

Come on BLN you’re better than this.

Aide involved in Benghazi talking points scrubbing promoted by Obama – Washington Times

May 26, 2013

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/may/24/obama-promotes-aide-benghazi-talking-points-scrub/

Never mind having bombed and invaded Libya with the airs of an absolute monarch, never mind Obama‘s Defense Minister telling Congressmen to their faces that the administration goes to war when it wants to and does not even have any obligation to even tell Congress about it. Never mind that the United States government under Obama took out a cooperative government that it had praised for giving up its nuclear weapons program with help from the West, and for renouncing terrorism, and for helping fight terrorism –even catching some of them for the West.

Never mind all that. None of it matters. And until recently, the usual big-government political and media cheering sections acted like even lying big-time to the American people and to Congress about what happened when blowback came home to roost in Benghazi, apparently just to win an election, did not matter. And also, they have acted like it is beneath them to ask what military commander issued the order to the Marines in Tripoli to stand down and let the Americans in Benghazi die.

Well, there is a section in the News industry that is worried about leaving Americans at risk in one of the most dangerous places for them overseas, so they could yell at Congress about budgets.

Yeah, you’ve heard about the Sequester, which is an INCREASE in budgets from the year before. That’s why they have to give you worse service when you call the IRS, that’s why they had to disrupt airline schedules, oh sure. Because they only got an INCREASE over the previous year in the money they had for these things. What government department lets even one year go by without asking for more money? More! More! More! If you don’t give us more, it will be bad! An asteroid will wipe us out! More money! they cry.

Well, who knows? “What’s the difference”?

The difference is that the one who campaigned for the presidency in 2012 with an ad featuring a call at 3:00 AM, bungled that nighttime call so badly she may have been cheated out of a 2016 presidential victory. The irony may be that her consolation prize from 2012 (the cabinet office she got) may have become a ball and chain that drags her to the bottom of the lake of political embarrassment. And that she may take the fall for the actions and inactions of her own boss. Maybe.

Anyway, Ron Paul is right. The scandal now known as Benghazi-gate is a distraction from the bigger issue of the crimes committed in waging an unconstitutional and illegal war in Libya at the expense of many lives, including Americans, of whom we now have four very famous casualties. And oh yeah, muzzles on the mouths of people who survived the actual attacks in Benghazi. And a Libyan government that the United States installed in Libya that now despises the American government because the Obama administration called him a liar in their campaign statements to the Media.

America in decline, only God can save her now, but she is not calling out to him.

Isaiah 1:18
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Not Credible: Gallup Poll Says “Americans Want To Tax The Rich And Spread the Wealth”

May 18, 2013

http://latino.foxnews.com/latino/money/2013/04/19/americans-want-to-tax-rich-and-spread-wealth-gallop-poll-says/?intcmp=obnetwork

Okay, stop asking them if they want to spread the wealth by taxing the rich. Ask them to choose between (1) taxing their employer more, or (2) getting a pay raise.

See how fast you flip your stupid poll then.

I don’t trust polls anymore. Polls here, polls there, and it used to have a strong effect, they used to be credible. But we got their game, now, their gig is up, busted! Things like this. If people just wanted to spread the wealth, they would have flipped the House in 2008 and they DIDN’T.

I got a call for a poll once, for an upcoming vote on some homosexuals’ additional rights bill or something like that. What a bogus “poll”! They kept asking the same questions, then they’d do one like “Did you know so-and-so”, and they’d go back to the same question they asked before where they didn’t like my answer. Phhht!

Education in reality is the answer. There’s lots of it at http://www.mises.org and http://www.lewrockwell.com.

IBD: Scapegoating Clapper only keeps Benghazi-gate going

Coverup meets exposure: “Dr. Coburn and Senator Obama look over the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act” (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Elsewhere in the news, Benghazi-gate is not going away, as the story at Investors’ Business Daily points out:

http://news.investors.com/ibd-editorials/112012-634215-blaming-intel-chief-wont-end-benghazigate.htm

Some Republicans may play along with their normal week squeaky protests against abuses of power in the White House, some will not.

They got a scapegoat but the White House still went for duck and cover behind the skirts of the United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice, who is now caught with her hands in the cookie jar, but she was taking cookies for her boss! She was no doubt hoping for a good helping of promotion.

They let her go out there and blame free speech for the seven-hour full pitched battle in Benghazi –that they watched in real-time in the White House– in which there were so many attackers that the very capable American soldiers were not able to last longer than that.

What demonstration lasts seven hours with bullets and rockets and mortar fire flying all over the place?

How much is too much? When is enough, enough already!

With the re-appointment of Obama by powers unseen, and the help of Propaganda Media, they got him past the election and avoided very much scrutiny over the different places where election fraud apparently occurred. But it is a sign of the times that things have gotten so bad in America that people are able to see this as a credible election outcome.

But the coverups in the government-media complex expose an ugly underbelly here, and the way this re-election operation was executed shows a bit of hubris, in that they now know they have a major portion of the demographic, if not the majority, that they can count on to turn their thinking on a dime without really thinking [oxymoron intended] in true Big Brother fashion.

Those who can see –because they have their eyes open– have an obligation to spread the truth and repeat the truth because truth is the best antidote to a lie. You don’t need tricks and lies and coverups if you’re telling the truth. Those who don’t want the truth are like the guy who said, “Stop it! Don’t confuse me with the facts!”

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2 Thessalonians 2:10

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. – 2 Timothy 3:13

IT’s time for those who can prepare materially for what is inevitably coming to do so, and those who cannot to make sure they are prepared mentally, psychologically, with the knowledge of what is happening, and most importantly, spiritually.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. – Hosea 4:6

And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, [many] days. — Daniel 11:33

But even of the Antichrist, remember:

And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. – Daniel 11:45

What’s so big and new and dangerous about Obama’s regime?

November 2, 2012

Everybody knows I have blown the whistle on our esteemed leaders of BOTH parties and their warmongering ways, and their murders, but there are some really big differences with this regime.

I don’t trust Romney and might not vote for him but with Obama we have a MAJOR slide into the abyss of no return.

(1) On the Kill List, this is the first president that has BRAGGED about it.

(2) This is the first administration that had a Defense Minister (they should be honest and change the name back to War Ministry) that testified –TESTIFIED– to Congress ON THE RECORD– that they don’t need to ask permission from Congress to go to war, BUT they DO need to get permission from the United Nations. From the club of unelected dictators!

(3) This is the first administration that signed a law into effect that supposedly “authorizes” the president to order killings on anybody along with indefinite detention of anybody he personally decides is a threat to national security. Anybody.

(4) This is the president that took over two major industries that heretofore were in the private domain, the automobile industry and the medical industry.

(5) This is the first administration that pushed a law that commands every citizen, like it or not, religious objection or not, to buy a product that 70 percent of the people hate.

(6) This is the first president that DOUBLED the national debt, meaning he has pushed an expansion of national debt more that ALL THE PRESIDENTS OF AMERICAN HISTORY COMBINED.

(7) He has BLATANTLY, in a manner that we call “in your face”, directly disobeyed court orders to open up offshore drilling. Twice.

(8) His administration killed an open and closed case against members of the “New Black Panther Party” in a real-world case of voter suppression, that had won several court decisions.

(9) He refused to defend a high-profile law passed by Congress. It was the one relating to marriage, but who is he to decide what laws to defend or not, outside the veto power. He did not have that power over it.

(10) He multiplied the personal presidential dictatorial clout, bypassing the constitutional legislature vetting process by appointing more czars with near-cabinet level power than any other president in history.

(11) He pushed for power for the Muslim Brotherhood across northern Africa, and put Christian lives in danger, with scores of them them already dead. Jimmy Carter set a precedent for this when he pushed moderate Muzorewa out of the way to let the butcher socialist Mugabe take power, BUT THIS TIME THOUSAND OF BLACKS ARE MURDERED IN LIBYA by the ones Obama pushed into power.

(12) And they have come back to bite him in the rear with Bengazi-gate, in which he exposed his own administration’s push to expose official Americans to danger.

(13) Remember his 2008 promise to build a “civilian security force” that would get just as much funding and as much equipment and clout as the military? In other words, a police state to rival the military? He hasn’t done it yet, but then again he couldn’t make it blatant and formal, presumably because they are waiting for the right time, and they’re not sure they can keep a lid on Americans. Second amendment and all that….

(14) His administration not only pushed guns to one of the most murderous gangs in the world, they were exposed

BBC News – Libya: Islamist militia bases stormed in Benghazi

September 22, 2012

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-19680785

Looks like there may be a difference between the Libyans and Arabs in the other countries. Remember that it was Libya, more than any other country during the so-called “Arab spring“, where massive numbers of common citizens took up arms to defend Gaddafi‘s government and push back against the al-Qaeda-infested and Western-backed “rebels”.

Note that Gaddafi’s visions of society saturated the country, and he was the only one to balk against the international banking control regimes and make real gold the value of the currency. Western media were sorely negligent also in reporting his public comments to the West and to his people about his renunciation of terrorism and giving up his nuclear program.

Ahmadinejad surely has noticed what happened to the leaders who did what they were told and gave them up. What has he got to lose?

I am a bit surprised at it the Libyans burning down the militia centers that the felt attacked the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi.

But this is even more evidence that the attacks were not a spontaneous reaction to an obscure video nobody heard about until it was used to blame the demonstrations.

Somebody wants Muslims to associate the date with themselves and with Islam, and with their anger at the West….
