Medical studies are almost always bogus

May 8, 2017

…And the headlines promise more than they deliver, according to an article at the New York Post.

The article refers to the results of research published in the book by Richard Harris:

(Begin excerpt)

“…For any study to have legitimacy, it must be replicated, yet only half of medical studies celebrated in newspapers hold water under serious follow-up scrutiny — and about two-thirds of the “sexiest” cutting-edge reports, including the discovery of new genes linked to obesity or mental illness, are later “disconfirmed.”

Though erring is a key part of the scientific process, this level of failure slows scientific progress, wastes time and resources and costs taxpayers excesses of $28 billion a year, writes NPR science correspondent Richard Harris in his book “Rigor Mortis: How Sloppy Science Creates Worthless Cures, Crushes Hope, and Wastes Billions” (Basic Books).

“When you read something, take it with a grain of salt,” Harris tells The Post. “Even the best science can be misleading, and often what you’re reading is not the best science.”

(End excerpt)

It’s not just medicine. All of science research is suffering from the same effect.

The writer does not deny the tendency is always there in the hot competition, and recognizes the shrinking budgets of taxpayer money to dole out for medical studies makes for the present crisis in which “half” of these taxpayer-funded studies (paid for by taxpayer extortion) are not reproducible.

The article describes what is happening, the symptom, but without acknowledging the “disease”. Integrity in medical research has died at the hand of the “administrative state”, unelected fiefdoms of government, less obvious because they are restricted parts of the whole, and because of the cover of mandates by laws outsourcing legislative duties to them.

If the research funds come from the organization with a monopoly of force, there is no constraint on the decisions made by the ones who disperse the funds.

In a free market, the funds would come from parties with an interest in getting results. In government the interests are politically driven careers, and personal pet projects with no personal cost.

This article makes no mention of any comparison between research funded by the private sector with no taint of government priorities, versus government funding.

But besides the difference being intuitively obvious, we have at least one example in the area of stem cell research. The media widely reported on the debate leading up to the decision by George W. Bush on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research.  He eventually decided to allow continuing research with the existing embryonic cell lines that had been funded, but restrict the use of federal funding for any new cell lines. Using new embryonic cell lines means the destruction of an embryo. An embryo is a new human life, a baby.

What was not reported in “Official Media” was that this research into EMBRYONIC stem cell research had already been at full speed for decades, with at the time NOT ONE medical application.

Also not reported at the time was that there were already 72 –seventy-two– medical applications resulting from ADULT stem cell research, already widely in use, funded by PRIVATE money. A few years later there were 150, and finally one study determined that adult stem cell research couple serve for any purported application of the embryonic studies.

Meaning, when you hear that they got some good thing or another from the embryonic stem cell research, remember it easier needless anyway,  sending bad money after bad, besides the other.

But the outrageous truth is that so many new lives were needlessly snuffed out while in the first stages of growth, in the name of stuffing them out, and with the bogus cover story of interest in medical advancement and the cure, for which using ADULT cells were already proven to serve much better.

And what a colossal waste of taxpayer-extorted money, including the one BILLION dollars that California’s tax victims had to dish out for it.

Words Against the Empire

March 16, 2017

We can use These mind-benders’ propaganda against them. Use their books and movies against them. I noticed a long time ago that often, the very villains and villainous tyrants in their stories, were of their own operatives. The “bad” guys work for “bad” institutions but they are the very ones they plan to implement.

Panem is an example. Another example of their psy-op is the movie Mannequin. In an illusionist type trick, the focus is on the guy and his romance with the likened Mannequin. But there was a “supporting character” called “Hollywood” who was a funny, caricatures gay man. This was a step in the guided evolution of the theatrical homosexual to come through stages. A wise counselor as best friend, then central characters, and now every TV series has to have one. Oh, and references to homosexual pairings as marriages now. And white males are the stupidest characters, the clueless, and see the recent series and movies, the boss of the most kick-ass special forces teams are becoming women.

The public is not readied yet, but soon we will have a James Bond type or super hero male gay. Ugh. Too much. Although some studies of emergency intake suggest higher rates of domestic abuse among them.

They have an army of human robots programmed now to accept mindware modifications. We must release them from the mind lock using the various tools as much as possible. This use of the Matrix lesson is one, another is lobbing their own stink words back at them like we did with “fake news”. Another is to throw our own truth stinks like using words that point to outed events, subterfuges like Mockingbird Media, Jekyll Island, Doublespeak, Newspeak, MK Ultra, Operation Paperclip, Jeffrey Epstein, Gulf of Tonkin resolution, USS Liberty, Soros, Rockefeller Foundation, Tides, Verona Papers, Echelon, Al Gore’s Carnivore.

Coordination among media is easy to show in things like the collage of the spring in the Ease Bunny’s step. You gotta ask about the Big Media saying the same thing in unanimity so much. They agree so much, beyond reason.

Sam Adams is a patriotic hold out

August 2, 2015

Disclaimer: I am not a defender of any Koch brother or any corporation, and none of this should be misunderstood. It is still obvious to me that all “taxation” is theft by a conquering power or seized from a conquering power by another elite. Christians should read the last several verses of Matthew 17 to understand why Jesus Christ paid taxes. ( Another hint is found in the “Agree with thine adversary quickly..[..because…]” scripture.) After all, Jesus was very angry with the money changers and had nothing good to say about stealing.

So now we have Brooke Sutherland at the Bloomberg Business web site with an article titled “Sam Adams Could Turn Benedict Arnold Because of Taxes. What a teaser, and the teaser is backwards!

Reading the article, the reader finds out -if you didn’t know (I didn’t) that the brewery that makes Sam Adams Beer is majority controlled by one of the Koch Brothers. You then find out that the problem is the stupid bipartisan tax code of both Stupid Parties has made it major STUPID for companies to bring profits back home from their investments overseas.

As a former missionary who lived overseas for a time, I found that the US is one of only two or three nations in the world that taxes its citizens working overseas. But get this: not only US citizens, but anybody who has a U.S. issued green card!

Lo and behold, several paragraphs down from the why-paragraph, you finally find out that 90 percent, that’s ninety percent! of the beer made in the USA is made by foreign-owned companies. So Koch’s Sam Adams is a holdout and exposing the dark hypocritical underbelly of the politicians that use the corporate profits kept overseas for demagoguery, because they get donations from the executives and workers of those same companies.

But a Koch brother company has continued to pay more in taxes that he had to legally, while other companies that support the bipartisan Fabian socialist regime park their profits overseas.

Jesus will come again soon enough (or none too soon?) and cast out the thieving money changers and lying sons of Satan again.

Can things get any more crazy?

CALIFORNIA  ATTY-GENERAL MORE WORRIED ABOUT PERMITS THAN BABY ORGAN TRAFFICKING

Most people who follow the news chatter know by now that a Planned Parenthood executive was caught on video talking about how the price of a specific baby organ depends on the disparate difficulty it causes the abortionist during the “extraction”, a euphemism for prenatal infanticide. The word “crunch” came up several times.

So what does the Attorney General of California promise to do? Root out this evil incentive for baby parts trafficking? No, she’s going to investigate whether there is any permit or license that the messenger forgot to get in this filming, and if the messenger violated any of the minuscule regulations on such matters.

Of course with the massive Hollywood press industry in the middle and paparazzi protections in place, maybe they’ll have some difficulty.

After all, nobody protested, or requested such an investigation, of Michael Moore, who pulled the same kind of stunt on Clint Eastwood for his anti-gun film.

Some in Congress are indignantly talking about investigating. These are politicians mostly of the party that has had several chances to shut down the massive federal funding this infanticide industry gets, and in the several states, and have not done so. Maybe somebody has the inside scoop on these reluctant pro-life politicians.

And `let’s give a nod to those Democrat Party Congressmen who could have blocked the infanticide-friendly Obamacare law, but were pushed, cajoled and even lobbied personally by President Barack Obama himself to obey. Bart Stupak was the “last hope”, he sacrificed his political career to what he had to know was a lying promise from the president’s mouth, and dragged the few fellow pro-life Democrats to defeat in the next election.

Whatever did Obama *really* say to Stupak in that secret meeting? What incentives, arguments, threats?

JUDGE ORDERS CHICAGO TAXPAYERS TO PAY FOR UNIONS AND POLITICIANS’ LYING PROMISES

How can anybody say that there is government “by the people” if the elected politicians can conspire with union bosses to sign contracts that steal other people’s money to fund public employee pensions?

Every legislature that burdens future legislatures and future generations with a growing debt and theft by inflation is committing a robbery that no non-governmental criminal organization can match in its brazen immorality, its arrogance, committed under a cover story of playing fair and favoring the poor.
But then again, the voters go ho-hum and too many of them think they’re voting for “fairness”, when demagogues promise to “help the poor” and soak the rich. They ARE the rich people!

WHO SHOULD VOTE?

“Immigrants aren’t the only ones who shouldn’t be voting”:
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2015/07/ryan-mcmaken/immigrants-shouldnt-vote/

Ryan makes a good point here. People think it’s really bad when a mayor gives the garbage utility contract to his own company. That’s obviously a conflict of interest. Nepotism is a dirty word.

And yet  seniors have a vote on who can use other people’s extorted moneys to give to them.  Welfare recipients vote on who takes other people’s money to give to them. The long list does not just include not only food stamp recipients, Medicaid, healthcare subsidies for the poor, Section Eight housing. There are nationally protected industries and unions who benefit materially from government policies. Students get federal aid and think it’s a great program.

We have a zillion laws against conflicts of interest in working for government and in working for companies. In many cases it is a crime for a company employee to receive gifts in exchange for favoring one vendor over another.

The same idea applied to political elections would make elections much more fair.

If you get any benefits at all from government, you give up your “right to vote” on who pays you those benefits, whether it’s a job, or direct subsidies, or any program moneys at all. Subsidies would include of course all corporate subsidies and the effect would apply to all employees of any said company. That means all of them. It means all organizations that work on electing anybody.

Corporations would have less political clout that way. Welfare recipients too, but nobody wants to get a label of Scrooge. Private companies even now budget lots of money for “charities”.

A person seeking employment would consider this. No more political promises to “bring home the bacon”. No more representatives pushing to allocate bases to their home towns and messing with the voter base that got them their job, even though they cannot vote.

Even some of these staged shows the industry calls “reality shows” do not allow contestants to vote for themselves.

(The industry likes to call them “reality” shows, but who in the real world normally goes naked in a bug-infested jungle full of briers, bristles and thorns to see if they can last 21 days? They are game shows, innovative as they may be)

Copernicus, the Printing Press and the Reformation

July 5, 2015

Some secular writers need some  education on the realities of history. As we can see in looking around us, neither good nor bad “religion” suffered at all from Copernicus’ theory, and neither did God, any more than it did from the pagan mass murders of the Roman emperors, or at the hand of the atheist and secular mass murderers of the Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, or Maoist regimes.

They even admit that at first the Pope himself was pleased to learn from Copernicus. Then came the secular “science” lobby with its emotional attachment to their own clinging to Aristotle instead of Ptolemy, and they found a way to convince the Church Establishment that their pet paradigm was scriptural and the Church itself was in peril if it did not accept the established “consensus” view of science”, their take on it.

After all, the geocentric view was taken from one of the secular/pagan Greek traditions, not the Biblical. We have the same problem today.

False “Religion” took a blow because it cowed to the secular lobby then, until new generations took to the new paradigm. This happened as well with Mendelssohn’s inheritance experiments with plants, until Darwin’s ideas were “safe” enough to let it hit the presses.

And then the howls of pain at the very idea that the universe had a beginning like the Bible said, earning this discovery the atheist pejorative of “The Big Bang”.

The process of liberation from the religious and secular leaders began NOT with Copernicus but the process began more with the printing press, which made it easier to spread ideas, and made Bible reading available to many times as many people. Therefore, while John Huss had been burned at the stake for his Bible-believing heresy, the ideas of freedom that the Bible itself had spread lit the fire in Martin Luther’s bosom and inspired his friends in nobility to hide him from the oppressor.

And while a lot of Christian kings including King James himself believed in a false doctrine of “divine right of kings”, what the Bible itself teaches is that ungodly and unrighteous kings don’t have any such “right” at all. It is a testament to the man himself and to the King James Bible that the translation that is known by his name today rings a death knell for any “divine right” of anybody to rule over anybody else.

In fact it is very clear that God himself was very angry with the Israeli elders when they demanded a king at all to rule over them. People who want kings (or rulers, or even representatives) to rule over them are declaring that they do not want God to rule their lives.

Jesus wisely replied to his enemies, “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s”,  meaning render NOTHING unto him that you are not forced to do under threat of violence. Jesus’ lesson the apostles at the end of Matthew 17 makes clear that kings and conquerors are thieves by definition. “We can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.”

Obamacare: Nightmare of 68,000 new diagnosis codes for ICD-10 including the bizarre

June 14, 2015

I now work for a healthcare company, and before that a hospital software company, and be it knownst that the Obamacare legal abomination carries a LOT more than just the lying insurance cover.

INTERNATIONAL STATISTICAL CLASSIFICATION OF DISEASES AND RELATED HEALTH PROBLEMS.

They are requiring more conversion by more healthcare companies, and smaller ones, to electronic claims and payments processing and other non-insurance requirements. They are requiring conversion of the electronic diagnosis codes from the ICD-9 list to a new ICD-10 list, with at least ten times more codes.

Look at this number thoughtfully: The ICD-10 requirements include some 68,000 codes for the presumably 68,000 different diagnoses that a doctor might make for a patient. Presumably each healthcare company will have to decide how much to charge for each diagnosis, and possibly negotiate rates with each insurance company separately.

The codes include such idiotic details such “struck by a turtle”, “struck by a sea lion”, “accidental striking against or bumped into by another person, initial encounter”, “headache associated with sexual activity”, ”Pedestrian on foot injured in collision with roller-skater, subsequent encounter.”

Those were found at:

“ICD-10 involves an ‘enormous amount of complexity’”:

http://www.healthcareitnews.com/news/10-most-outlandish-kinds-icd-10-codes

I’ve seen some of the more outlandish ones myself. With all the web pages a search brings up for “ICD-10 ridiculous”, it’s truly hard to tell which ones are made-up and which ones are spoofs. One listed “cat-scratch fever”, a la Ted Nugent song.

This may well create more too-big-to-fail companies. There is a mad rush in the healthcare industry to consolidate. Smaller hospitals are begging for bigger chains to buy them out. I haven’t seen specific reference to it, but I’ll bet this includes a LOT of “non-profit” medical companies selling to “profit-based” chains, or other “non-profit” organizations.

The company I work for is snapping up smaller ones everywhere in the country.

Many in the software industry are calling this “bigger than Y2K”, and I think it is. I worked for a small air conditioning equipment distribution company at that time, and changed something like over 600 tables, 1200 “views”, and 1,800 programs. This may affect more. It most certainly has involved LOTS and LOTS of typing and editing and changing going on. Every affected company, corporation and partnership affected, has to finish its own preparation enough to set up test environments so they can jointly test with EVERY other organization they do related business with.

One writer says it will cost trillions of dollars in costs to the medical industry. At my small-ish employer, it is reasonable to say it likely costs millions of dollars in developer pay, and pay for medical diagnosis coders time, and their training, plus all the accounting that goes into the use of the equipment and executives’ time. And all the extra personnel needed to both make the transition, and now the ongoing increase in costs associated with this crazy mess of codes and the multiplication of both human and programming mistakes.

See, this is the problem when people believe that a government can do better than God in sorting things out and taking care of people.

It will never be known how many people will suffer because of so many resources and so much time wasted on obeying government commands to comply with rules that bureaucrats make to justify their salaries, thinking they are helping people.

It’s not just skyrocketing medical costs that will result from this abominable law. It is the resources that are wasted in making life easier for government officials and politicians and giving them yet more socialized control over the lives of individuals. It’s easy to cry foul when a cop shoots a man in cold blood caught on video. It’s not so easy to consider the unemployed teens and unskilled poor who are locked out of the labor market by minimum wage laws. It’s not so easy to consider the invisible harm done to the sick, elderly, and disabled by laws that pretend to expand healthcare but shrink it. It’s not so easy to see the lost jobs and lost wages for the poor and under-employed that lose out to the increased tax burden imposed on their employers. It’s an easy mark to criticize giant corporate profits, but not so easy to see the way the regulations themselves benefit the biggest corporations and keep smaller competitors down. It’s easy to hear the demagogues complain about greedy corporations, but with a government-compliant big-corporation media, it’s not so easy to see how those same “greedy corporations” benefit the demagogues themselves.

Socialism is a lie. Like a friend once told me who had lived in Russia during the days of the Soviet Union, socialism does not exist, there is no such thing. It’s just a trade of one set of rulers for another one with less pretension. “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss”.

But let’s be clear. Obamacare is a bipartisan program. It is an implementation of a “conservative” Heritage Foundation plan published in the 1990s, it is Romney-care writ large, it is Hillary-care recharged. Charged to us, making us foot the bill. Let the refrain sound throughout the land: Obamacare is Hillary’s 1993 plan, Phase One.

“But be not deceived. God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

IRS and Feds engaging in more prosecutorial criminality

March 8, 2015

Here’s another case of federal and IRS prosecutorial criminality.

He’s a creationist who is well-known among Christians who are interested in the topic. He was, in the opinion of m many, the most effective creationist speaker. His invitations to speak were many, he had years scheduled in advance. They sold the videos in DVDs but made clear that permission was granted to copy them, as long as they were given away, and they were download-able on the Internet.

The IRS put him away for 10 years claiming “structuring”. Structuring is when somebody follows the law but somebody at the IRS decides you’re trying to avoid the reporting requirements. They got the structuring laws passed by claiming it was a “tool” to go after drug traffickers.

There were other bogus charges and then the first thing the judge did after a request from prosecution was to ban the defense strategy. There were all kinds of things they also threw at him.

He had been denounced by a jealous Christian school director in the same town of Pensacola.

I just discovered that as the end of his sentence draws near, they have created more bogus charges to keep him in prison. The judge presiding –note this!– has banned all taking of notes, and has banned everyone from having a Bible open in the courtroom. I am not making this up.

Christians, libertarians, gay marriage, who wants big government?

February 1, 2015

I am a very vocal Bible-believing Christian, and I got to tell you, that Christian libertarians are now in very great numbers, and the numbers are growing by leaps and bounds, as they realize that it is this approach to society that is the only view that anyone can say with certainty that God actually endorsed.

We have no king but JESUS!

Like God told Samuel, when the people demanded a government, a king, “They have rejected ME!” Because they didn’t want GOD to rule over them.

And Samuel warned them with the same warnings conservatives used to repeat in this country: The king will take your sons off to war, he will take your daughters off to his palaces to cook their delights, he will build his palaces with the burdensome taxes that will be to your grief. Needless to say, God’s warnings against government were validated with only the third king in Israel, because Solomon did all these things when he strayed from God’s wisdom. The result was a divided kingdom after his passing.

Even then, they said they wanted it because Samuel’s children were corrupt, after he appointed them judges, meaning they also wanted a king to protect them from abuse by their neighbors. BUT that means they themselves were already so corrupt they could not see that there was no obligation to follow those corrupt appointees. The laws of Moses are very clear, and there is NOT ONE reference or mention to ANY kind of government there. That’s how the custom of judges arose, they were spontaneous callings of God to the farmers like Gideon who raised armies to expel invaders who did impose kingships on them. Then they beat their swords back into plows and farmed again. And sometimes the people went to those judges to mediate disputes and for guidance later on….

In fact, the laws of Moses not only makes no provision for government of any kind, except the individual’s governing of himself and what is his, the Ten Commandments condemn it explicitly.

If somebody takes your property without your explicit permission, that’s THEFT. That’s why taxation is pure THEFT. THOU SHALT NOT STEAL.

Romans 13 was very specific and the reasons given for respecting secular authority was contextual and conditional. The Romans actually kept the high priests in check, and God anointed them to both protect the Messiah from the persecutors and to expand the early reach and the future of the Gospel.

The “libertarians” that promote government intervention in things like marriage are just as clueless as Christians who look to government instead of God for a marriage certificate!

Remember the presidential debates, when they asked the question about “gay marriage”, the born-again Baptist who said EVERYTHING he did was from his Christian faith, Ron Paul, said the government should get out of it and leave it to churches like it was before. And the not-so-Christian Gary Johnson actually said the same thing!

Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s. Ask yourself: what in the entire world did Caesar have that did not come from conquering by THEFT and spoils of the wars of lust that James spoke of?

Matthew 17 tells you what Jesus thought of tribute to Caesar.

He said we pay taxes so as not to offend them, in other words, so they’ll leave us alone.

Taxation is tribute, tribute is theft

September 16, 2014

Both dominant USG political parties are socialist, because their platforms and practice both make the basic assumption that all your money belongs to them to do with as they see fit, and they will let you keep enough to live another day to continue to “pay tribute”. This is the life of serfs and lords of the manor. Organized grand theft.

I never, not once, I NEVER agreed to ANY such “social contract” WHATSOEVER.

There is no government on Earth today that did not arrive to it by conquest. Today’s “lords” pretend to be more benevolent but they still have the warfare-welfare state to sell.

All the wars in the Middle East have a pivot point in Jerusalem. USG lined up to lay its reputation on the line, along with the sons of serfs, in support of Israel, which is a creation of what were called Zionists before WW2. Truman and other lords of the manor threw reports of Irgun atrocities in the trash and recognized Israel immediately.

Meantime, the Federal Reserve continues its counterfeit money operation. Fiat money makes it easier to wage war, so we have a runaway government waging unconstitutional wars with unconstitutional money. What they can’t get by taxing us out of house and home (in many cases literally) they get by robbing us in the greatest theft scheme of history, currency devaluation. They call it “inflation” so it doesn’t sound so bad.

When Krugman of the NYT says a little bit of inflation is good, he’s quoting Keynes, whose ideas corrupted the conversation and made most economists stupid. What neither Keynes or Krugman will admit publicly is that inflation is a direct theft of value from what “purchasing power” the “little people” have.

But politicians loved him. Durban said quipped “Keynesianism is dead” at the presser for so-called “Sequestration”. Sequestration had absolutely ZERO cuts to the budget over the previous year. So when USG complained about having to cut services, they were lying when they said it was stingy Republicans are blah blah. But the Republican Party is no better, they did the same thing to finance the wars too.

I told everybody in 2008 that Obama would do the same things Bush did. And I am so sorry that Obama did not only that but much much more than Bush could have hoped for.

Jesus came to set at liberty those who are captive, give comfort to the poor, heal the sick, and most importantly save our souls. In Matthew 17 he exposes all taxation schemes as “tribute” extorted (stolen) by conquering looters. In saying “Give unto Caesar what is Caesar and unto God what is God’s” he was referring to the fact that Caesar and all extortionists (see Matthew 17) do not own anything legitimately. Romans 13 is no excuse for Caesar-loving 501c3 loving pastors, because if any government does not meet its requirements it means it deserves nothing.

Who causes poverty?

June 28, 2014

Latinos cause poverty? Depends on which Latinos or Latin Americans, same as North Americans. Richest man in the world is Carlos Sims. But they have had their own versions of left-fascists, and residual poverty leaving them helpless.

The U.S. has enjoyed a history of traditional cultural importance of individual rights and free market principles and the robber barons are never capable of wreaking the havoc that governments do, and have historically done, every time and every place.
Foreign aid given to these governments, like Dambisa Moyo wrote, corrupts them, engenders obeisance to the oligarch interests here that use money they stole from us. Without the political payoffs of government to government, the politicians and political powers of those countries would have incentive to let their own economies generate a better tax base.
Maybe that’s what motivates Honduras with their new economic zones. After the United States joined the world in condemning Honduras for defending themselves against another socialist Cuban-Chavista tyrant, including the US Ambassador promoting dictator Zelaya’s plans and even helping plan the takeover, they figured they should get ready to take care of themselves.
After all, even the Chinese finally figured out there was no way to command the masses into prosperity.
