10 signs you’ve joined the anti-Goldstein hysteria

April 28, 2016

How to tell when somebody is a Republican-Democrat fanatical anti-Trump:

http://www.dailywire.com/news/5248/10-indicators-youve-joined-trump-cult-ben-shapiro#pq=8lT20u

#1. They say he (and Rush Limbaugh too!) “threatened riots”. Nobody “threatened riots”. The people who were rioting at Trump’s rallies were ANTI-Trumps.

[Editorial note insert: Let me amend this one by saying that the only people that were threatening to riot were professional Black Lives Matter provocateurs, cheered on by Democrat, Republican, Media, and Government establishment rulers and their mind-parrots).

#2 Complaining that he does not obey a Republican Oligarch plant. –Trump pushed back professional political operative Manafort’s advice because (1) like he said, he is the front-runner by NOT acting “presidential”, a catch-word for “political conformist-zombi” (my new words for PC).

#3. Complaining about authoritarianism. –Whereas Cruz voted for TPP, refuses to criticize the Goldman Sachs and Wall Street bailouts, wants even MORE war authority (unconstitutional kill lists aren’t enough?), and sends agents provocateurs to lie and cheat and suppress votes?

He is the authoritarian while critics like Ben Shapiro apparently want to go back to smoke filled rooms where NONE of us has any say in who they put to rule over us.

#4. No tolerance for questions? Really? –Trump has had FIVE TIMES more coverage than his runner-up because he actually goes to interviews when he’s invited. I guess after all this question-answering, a few people criticize the questioners and their replies are suppressing free speech. What’s this? Republican oligarch subjects are pulling the micro-aggression card from California?

#5. “Unreasonable fear about the outside world”??? In what universe? “Fear”? How is that supposed to work? This is the most ridiculous thing.

The guy is threatening to bring the troops home 70 years after the war is over and bring the money home, he’s promising to re-open the 9/11 investigations, investigate Hillary, and so on. Fear? Maybe this writer would have preferred a “bold” Donald to go to Chicago and let the rioters cry “Riot on!”.

Fear? He has investments everywhere in the world!

It looks like the oligarchs are the ones who are fearing HIM.

#6. Narcissistic, yes, it takes some measure of it to really go for the presidency. The only evident exception to that would be Ron Paul.

#7. No capacity to change? – They blame the guy for changing parties and changing his mind, then they blame him for not changing?

But then every time “we” vote for a Republican oligarch candidate, we get them changing from their promises before to doing exactly the opposite. Obama brought enough change. We’re sick of that kind of change. Try a different unknown, maybe.

#8. “Grievances” among former “members” of the Trump campaign. They say that Roger stone left the campaign over the spat with Megyn Kelly, but he has said he left because he thought he could do more good elsewhere.

The pro-Trump PAC guys cry “authoritarian” because Trump told them to please shut it down, and failing that, stop using his name.

#9. Record of abuses? –Naturally just like with Romney, Bush, anybody who’s done very much has people who are jealous, envious, spiteful, and maybe some who have a point. Shapiro’s list is herein highlighted as to this article. He claims abuse of women but the only public complaint is the one from the girl Shapiro quit Breitbart over who kept trying to break the Secret Service buffer, tried to touch Trump, had something in her hand, and was trying to block the coterie.

#10. Followers feel they can’t be “good enough”. Well well, I guess that’s why so many more are voting for him than anybody else.

NBC story shows why Establishment Press is vanishing

April 25, 2015

Massive numbers of Americans know that they have used guns to prevent crimes. My wife used hers once to prevent a kidnapping. But the Arrogant Class wants to criminalize self-defense so they can order any action they want to against anybody they want to without fearing blowback.

So here come two police officers, they are not “peace officers” anymore it seems, who got shot so they’re suing the gun shop that sold the guns to a customer that was LEGALLY allowed to buy it:
http://www.nbcnews.com/news/crime-courts/historic-case-alleging-gun-dealer-was-negligent-goes-trial-n339421

Contrast that article with this, an exposure of the deceitful math used by the Arrogant Class:

http://www.nydailynews.com/opinion/john-lott-dangerous-distortions-cops-shooting-black-men-article-1.2030545

They are trying a new tactic to disarm the serfs, since such a great majority of citizens are winning in their fight against losing their rights to self-defense. The Arrogant Royals are losing both in the propaganda campaign and in the legislatures in spite of the fact that most politicians don’t care about their constituents’ concerns.

So they’re trying business harassment. The Brady Center is redirecting attention to cops that get shot.

If guns in the wrong hands are dangerous, though, try the ones in the hands of COPS. Why isn’t the Brady Center going after the law enforcement officers who murder their victims in cold blood? We’re finding out how many there are out there only because of two recent technologies that have come into their own: cameras in the hands of Joe Anybody, and the Internet.

Badger must be good at business. Maybe they’re just selling more guns than anybody, and the Arrogant Brady Bunch figures that makes them a big target.

Information exposes them though. By now, we all know that the Ferguson, Missouri police department has been taken over by their extortionist politicians, hungry for budget money for their pet projects and maybe even their pet friends.

We also know that the Ferguson civil authority is mostly white because the blacks are not voting. The problem there is that the politicians that get elected in black precincts have done nothing to change the lot of the poor. We also know that we ALL are suffering under the jackboot of the Arrogant Class that figure we are the serfs.

Mark 10
42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.

How about letting a bit of “reason” into the discussion on orientation?

September 7, 2014

Opposing views “deserve no time for the critical thinker.”? Since when is any of us omniscient?

I welcome challenges to my beliefs based in reason. My belief in the Bible is based on reason. I have seen more challenges in a year to them than you will probably face in a lifetime. One of my favorite Bible verses starts with “Come let us reason together” and there is another that refers to “more than 500 witnesses” that saw and met with Christ after Resurrection. And another “Prove me now herewith and see”. So I welcome a respectful exchange of ideas.

Most people in our world today, even in the USA, have been exposed to the ideas of liberty. This is why we have the advantage in debates. Most people have never heard of them. They have never heard challenges to their favorite national heroes, or the ideas that their governments feed to them. Look how quickly they are jumping at the chance to kick ISIS ass. An Internet friend who despises Dems even said we should shake the dust off the bombers and fighters again.

They only know what their rulers saw fit to tell them. We grew up swimming in it, we know all their lies, but we now know them for what they are.

Government media organs did not allow any debate whatsoever on the issues revolving around homosexuality. Come after my certain “loved one” over his orientation and God help me, I hope to stop the bullet with my own chest. But if I help him or another stop smoking, to use a less abused example, it’s not because I hate him or have a bad attitude (others do), it’s because I love him. Even if you might thinking smoking does no harm and it’s only because society stigmatizes it or refuses to invest in cures for the harms of smoking.

If a male thinks he’s female, are you going to believe him or his lying Y-chromosome DNA? “Accept me for what I am.”

We used to get moralizing Hollywood stories that preached at us that we should “accept ourselves for who we are” instead of thinking we should follow somebody’s artificial idea, or trying to strive for something that went against our nature.

Send a “blind”, anonymous, DNA sample to the lab without commentary. “Does this DNA come from a male or female?” What do you think they will answer.

Reaction to “Conservative to Anarchist”; Me, Communist to Missionary to Anarchist

August 24, 2014

My reaction to Steve Patterson’s post, From Conservative to Anarchist:

http://steve-patterson.com/conservative-anarchist/

Back when I joined a “new religious movement” during the Jesus People thing in the 1960s, we got educated by the founders in the future consequences of bubble fiat dollars (“green paper pigs”–think inflated piggy bank balloon) and the stupidity of getting off a gold standard, and the way the rest of the world will also get punked for counting on the dollar. We were “dropped out” of “the system” and “turned on” to the truth.

Before that, in college, all that indoctrination turned me into a Communist because ever since LBJ invaded the Dominican Republic I remembered thinking about helping the poor and being “fair” and all that. But that led to being a sort of “syndicalist anarchist”, which sounds leftish but it also sounded right. My rationale then was: If you can’t trust people to govern themselves, you can’t trust them to govern anybody else. I didn’t have a clue what label that would have other than anarchist.

Then I discovered the way certain now well-known cliques and “secret societies” manipulate things, became minarchist finally, and through a Bible-discussion forum discovered Ron Paul when a fellow believer mentioned hanging Ron Paul banners over bridges. The rest is the same history as Steve’s.

This verse means so much more to me now:

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;–Isaiah 61:1

Biden to Central America: Control Your Borders!

July 12, 2014
The US is acting like the arrogant bully that (somebody) promised would stop. Only now it’s “under the radar”, by which I mean that (somehow) all these things that add up to (something).
I am 110 percent in favor of all the “richer” countries cutting off 100 percent of ALL government-to-government aid to other countries, and that includes government-to-NGO’s. Almost all the international NGOs are the ones that are favored by the political powers; some are not; maybe they’re “tokens”.
“Foreign aid”, like Ron Paul said, “robs the poor in rich countries to give to the rich in the poor countries”. And it makes the politicians in recipient countries beholden to the political powers in “donor” countries instead of to their own citizens. So said the well-known economist from Zambia, Dambisa Moyo.
I told my Honduran wife “Great!” when they told me Orlando was in Brazil instead of meeting with the US VP. The Yanks summoned Central America to control their borders! Let that sink in for a minute! Biden, the Yanks VP, told the Presidents of Guatemala, El Salvador and the Honduras representatives to control their borders!?
There’s *always* something more to stories like this. Official spokespersons are saying it’s coyotes spreading this word in Central America, but they’ve known for *many* years that children get across the border easily.  So what is it the “journalists” are not saying?
Another thing the old traditional news sources are not reporting is that something like 90 percent of these “children” and “minors” are 15 to 17 years of age. The reports on Corporate Media say that that they are fleeing violence in Central America. For some of them, especially those rushing to join parents up north, that may be true. But remember what Castro did with his prison population during the Mariel boat-lift?
No little hatchlings these. And like my wife told me Orlando said, if parents are sending the younger children with coyotes who not only routinely rape and abuse them, they do it as a routine.
The best thing the United States can do first for Honduras is (1) immediately stop “helping” them, especially the government (leave it to people who care about the poor) and (2) immediately cease the drug wars, both here and there.  (3) And after that, stop trying to tell everybody what they have to do. And most important of all (4) Buy! Their! Products!
For (1),  you can’t say you’re helping the poor by demanding governments do it. Governments have to steal the money from lots of people (you and me, but never he!) that otherwise would use it to actually help the poor. Especially the kids. Recent numbers showed that child abuse is *eight times higher* for children in government custody than for kids who live with their parents. Even the usual mouths on Disappearing Dinosaur Networks are trying to tell the anti-immigration protestors that “we” (in the U.S.) have to help these kids because they’re living as many as 100 with one toilet, some are getting raped, etc., etc.
She did NOT mean herself in the “we” because she was talking about the government, not herself. Glenn Beck is taking supplies to the kids. One of the problems is that the USG (US GOvernment) is not allowing anybody to talk to any of the kids, even US Congressmen, and prohibits all recording devices including all cell phones, smart phones or not for the VIPs that are allowed to visit.
I’m glad that “God is not mocked. For whatsoever a man seweth that shall he also reap.” And that it is never too late to do the right thing from this point on

Evidence-based Christianity

June 14, 2014

I’m one Bible believer who got there through science, history, facts, reasoning and logic. The tautological circle is true of many Christians who don’t think much, and much Christian evangelical media. But even they are allowing the evidence-based arguments. Christianity is the one related by way of historical events. “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy”, not tautologies. “Global cooling is part of global warming” is a tautology. You should put “scientists” in there. Michael Crichton did. See his essay “Aliens cause Global Warming”, from a talk at Cal Tech, where he totally demolished “Drake’s equation”, the blind-faith basis for SETI. Thomas Kuhn’s “Structure of Scientific Revolutions” should have convinced them to “Question everything”, which they don’t.

History has hundreds who sought evidence against Christianity and ended up as believers, including thousands of scientists today who renounced Darwinism based on science. An archaeologist once set out to falsify the Bible by checking on the place names in Acts and dug them all up. The Jewish rabbis showed Alexander the prophecy that Greece would trounce Persia and conquer shockingly fast and then his empire divided to four. As happened. And that was after he fulfilled other prophecy by throwing the old Tyre literally into the sea.

A student once challenged atheist Harvard dean of Law Simon Greanleaf to apply his own rule (no conclusions without first considering the evidence) That in turn is held up by the evidence of history, archaeology, and logic, and the rules of historical evidence as detailed by the atheist-turned-Christian Simon Greanleaf, author of “Testimony of the Evangelists”. To this day a man’s dying testimony has weight, and to die for it proves belief. An archaeologists looking to disprove Acts, for example, excavated so much of it he became a believer. Lew Wallace is another one. Isaac Newton said the fact that (true) science is reliable shows design. It was his version of the “anthropic principle”, in the NON-circular definition of it.

It’s much more fact-based than Darwinism, for sure. That’s where the lack of evidence of “punctuation” in fossils (and only equilibrium) is offered as evidence for “punctuated equilibrium”. Mendel’s experiments were ignored at length and DNA made it so incredible a co-discoverer postulated aliens.

The Golden Rule and the Non-Aggression Principle

April 19, 2014

Christians have the obligation -and privilege- to “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 7:12)

For everybody else, we can demand respect for the principle of non-aggression. This is at minimum the “law” Paul spoke of that everyone who is born (and pre-born) has written in their hears.

Everyone has the right to be free of aggression by others and to be “secure” (as the Bill of RIghts calls it) in their persons, possessions, papers, and effects.

The Golden Rule is a “superset” of the non-aggression principle. The NAP is a “corollary” of the Golden Rule.

Is the Non-Aggression Principle enough?

March 28, 2014

I haven’t read Hoppe (one of these days I will) but “follow the NAP” is truly not enough to resolve what we all know is “right”.

The NAP is basically just a minimum starting point and minimum requirement for an “ethical guideline” for interaction with others. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” is a better rule in my opinion. But that requires some active charity in some situations.

No one has the right to force others to do his bidding. We all prefer to do everything voluntarily. Ask a left-fascist (aka “social justice liberal”) to give HIS OWN money.

Another NAP gap is children. Walter Block did a great job of applying the NAP “ruthlessly” to its logical conclusion to come up with “evictionism”, but that falls short of what we all know is the minimum required for a minimal ethical baseline.

By the act of having sex, you take the “risk” of having the blessing (as I call it) of the appearance of a new individual. But as that individual is conceived helpless outside the womb until “viability”, and helpless outside the womb too after birth, the mother AND father have an obligation to that new life with all its implications until he is able to fend for himself.

That obligation can be fulfilled of course by finding adoptive parents that will take care of that child and rear him reasonably well, but one of the basic tenets of libertarian (and anarchist) philosophy is that each one of us must take responsibility for our own actions. The principle of restitution can teach us here that if our act results in the conception of a helpless new person, we owe that new person to care for it.

That principle would not apply strictly to cases of rape, but applies to some 98% of pregnancies. However, even in cases of rape, where it is not the result of a mother’s own action, in the case of an infant, there is still a forcing of harm on that infant (both before and after birth) if the parents neglect the proper care.

However, I still oppose any extraordinary measures to seek out and punish parents for abortions. In this case, cultural shame would be the most effective strategy.

Even more effective is a strong Christian influence, as this has made slavery a dirty word around the world today, along with gladiator battles, extreme baby abuse, and so on.

Christians and government, Romans 13, taxes, and Caesar

December 15, 2013

What so many Christians get wrong is that they think government helping the poor is the same as a person helping the poor. They don’t consider that taxes are theft, misinterpret Jesus’ response to Pharisees about Caesar’s image on a coin and Romans 13. And misapply the laws of Moses.

They also forget that Caesar was divinity by government decree, and the coin was idolatry. The question was about taxes, but he wisely told them to pay to Caesar whatever actually belonged to him. But “The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof”.

Plus in Matthew 17, where Jesus did indeed pay taxes, he told the disciples that it was a form of involuntary servitude, to paraphrase, by reminded them in a question that the kings and nobles and the people who tell you how much to pay up, do not put that burden on their own children. “Then are the children [of your taxman] free”.

They also forget that Romans 13 does not apply when any government does not meet the description as “God’s sword” to stop evil.

The anti-government campaigns of the earliest Christians against infanticide (by adoption), against gladiator battles (Saint Telemachus), refusing the decree to recognize Caesar as a god, against slavery (St. Patrick in Ireland), against aristocratic abuse (appeals in the Magna Carta to a divine natural law above kings), all these things are applications of the Christian Golden Rule.

The corollary subset of the Golden Rule known as the non-aggression principle is a natural law that binds all mankind, something that the growth in the libertarian movement today recognizes.  Christians have been slow to recognize this but they are increasing in numbers. Their main obstacle to understanding is that Pharisees and control freaks and unbelievers are diluting the application of the law of love, along with the dilution of the message of salvation.

http://www.policymic.com/articles/44725/this-is-what-budget-cuts-have-done-to-detroit-and-it-s-freaking-awesome

Detroit is absolutely bankrupt. The city faces a cash shortfall of more than $100 million by June 30. Long-term liabilities, including pensions, exceed $14 billion. Michigan Governor Rick Snyder wants to bail out Detroit’s city government even further. Thanks to the financial situation of Detroit, emergency services like police and fire departments are being severely cut short. 911 is only taking calls during business hours. Homes have been abandoned making parts of the city look like a ghost town.

If our public servants are right and wouldn’t dare lie and try to scare us, then chaos, anarchy and lawlessness should reign in Detroit now, right? Well, not exactly.

They take an approach opposite to the SWAT-heavy inclinations of government law enforcement. There is the private Detroit Bus Company, flourishing.

Some private citizens wanted to do a good deed, and at the bus stops where they have long waits for the government bus lines, they built shelters and bookshelves. Government said it was “unapproved” and took them down. Local city-grown gardens defy Big Agriculture, and they are meeting without permits..

Detroit’s city government may be in shambles financially, but the citizens of Detroit are showing what happens when people are given their liberty back. For centuries, libertarians have been arguing for strict limits on state power, the benefits of private, civic society, and the bottom-up, spontaneous order that arises where free markets and voluntary interactions dominate. Perhaps we shouldn’t be so scared and sicken with political Stockholm Syndrome the next time politicos fear-monger over budgets cuts.
