The TRUTH about the Chavez auto-coup that fooled the world press

Maybe it’s my 20 years of experience as a missionary in Latin America and living in Miami and being married to a wonderful lady from Honduras, plus my philosophy of liberty, provides some insight into the events in Venezuela, including the “coup” that has the attributes of an auto-coup engineered purge the armed forces and consolidate power.

That “coup” in Venezuela has all the attributes of an “auto-coup”.

To begin with, you have to remember that the “coup” started when Chavista political thugs fired on a million-person march that had been totally peaceful, KILLING at least a dozen people DEAD. He ordered the metro Caracas police away from the march to leave them exposed for this massacre.

Chavista politicians were recorded on video firing into the crowd. The Chavista-packed “courts” threw out all the murder charges in spite of the video, based on a flimsy whimsy excuse.

That’s not “anti-Americanism”, that’s MURDER.

Hondurans had their own Chavez-surrogate in dictator Manuel Zelaya, who led his own auto-COUP when he stopped obeying laws passed by Congress and defiantly disobeyed multiple court orders. He took international foreign aid and threw it into his own re-election president-for-life campaign. He was running a government that was totally outside the Honduran constitution, breaking all the records of corruption of before, even admitting to Jorge Ramos on the Univision cable channel that he had committed election fraud to get into the office.

Do not believe the lies. The CIA had nothing to do with getting Zelaya out of the Presidential Palace, which after his auto-coup that nobody understood to call it that, which it was, because a fully 85% of the Honduran population HATED his government by that time. They did NOT want to be like Venezuela or Cuba.

That made Hugo Chavez a NARCO-IMPERIALIST. Hundreds of drug planes have fallen in Honduran territory, and they all had Venezuelan registry.

All those demonstrators CNN liked to put on against the CONSTITUTIONAL Micheletti government? Bought and paid for. Chavez poured so many petro-dollars into Honduras for this fake movement that the Honduran currency, the lempira, went up TEN PERCENT against the dollar. The price kept going up for getting students into the street and manning barricades and blocking traffic.

So THE CHAVEZ AUTO-COUP DID WORK, AND IT DID WORK VERY WELL! Because it was a ruse to deceive military officers skeptical of the idea of stealing from the people to SAY they were giving to the poor, while Chavez created his own club of billionaires out of friends of his.

I realize that Aaron Russo said they planned on taking down Chavez, but he is no Gaddafi. It’s like a pack of wolves and a bear battling over who gets to eat the sheep.

It all has a George Soros stamp on it. He gave the keynote address to the summit of Caribbean and Central American presidents in the fall of 2008, where Zelaya was there and did some dinner and chit-chat with Chavez and Soros both.

And don’t forget, Chavez was no stranger to taking control by coup, as he engineered his own “coup that didn’t work”. Somebody put out a bio saying that what got him mad was orders to fire on Venezuelan citizens.

That’s a LIE, because he had no trouble backing up his own political thugs firing into the crowd during that fateful march in Caracas, and he had no trouble at all backing the FARC in their fight, despite their massacres of civilians in neighboring Colombia. Note that when FARC guerillas were caught on camera schmoozing it up with Venezuelan military officers on a base inside Venezuela, the Chavez government immediately ordered the journalist who discovered it to give up the whistleblower.

IF you support Bradley Manning, you should support that brave journalist in Venezuela.

She is also the one who exposed the Chavez plan to engineer a long series of killings in Honduras after the election there and to blame the murders on the Lobo “coup” government. It’s not a “coup” government in Honduras, but it sure is in Venezuela, where Chavez before, and his hand-picked successors now, do not even obey their own abusive constitution.

Hondurans have joined Cubans and Venezuelans in their gratitude that the demagogue dictator is out of the picture, even as they do not celebrate death per se. But they do not have a lot of hope.

God help us if libertarians get fooled by this narco-socialist or any other demagogue in the world. American libertarians are suffering from a lack of good information from other nations.

So let us remember. Demagogues and dictators come in any kind of label, whether “left” or “right” or “Islam” today.

My answer to the Daily Bell article about Hugo Chavez:
http://www.thedailybell.com/28788/South-America-After-Chavez–Not-What-You-Think

Chavez may be loudlyChristian“, but he is NOT “unabashedly” Christian. The writing from The Daily Bell is always intelligent and pretty much grounded in reality, but that one was greatly puzzling. He’s not very Christian at all, any more than the Bolsheviks (“I was always a Leninist”-Chavez visiting Moscow) or the Maoists (“I was always a Maoist”-Chavez visiting China) or the North Koreans (“I was always a Marxist”-Chavez in North Korea)

NOT AT ALL. George W Bush is no more Christian than him, and vice versa.

He is Christian like the Cubans in Miami say about Fidel Castro in the mountains, wearing his rosary beads.

The Marxists learned a lesson maybe from the Mexican “peasants’ rebellion” against their own Marxist president.

Also, he has “redistributed” a lot of the oil revenues in social programs but he has also created a new nouveau riche class, and the POOR have already been getting very restless.

And he is NOT so popular as the American press makes him out to be. This is the same press that LIED about Honduras, where easily 85 PERCENT of the people supported the arrest of auto-coup dictator Manuel Zelaya, aspirant to lifetime presidency who promised a cabinet member (a relative of a close family friend of ours) a lifetime position.

During those theatrical “riots” in Honduras demanding the Chavez surrogate’s return, that “astro-turf uprising” fizzled so bad so fast and got so bad that it took such a whopping major infusion of Chavez money to pay a few dozen at it that the lempira went up TEN PERCENT against the dollar in a matter of DAYS.

Poverty by itself doesn’t breed Marxism. I’m sure the royalty in D.C. and in Caracas and Habana were all flummoxed to distraction by the explosive blowback from Honduras against them.

“We’re poor enough, thanks anyway, we don’t want to be like Cuba or Venezuela, we’d rather be like the US“.

Honduras put a wrinkle in the supposed forced march of Latin America toward socialism.

The mayor of Caracas publicly demanded that Honduras send them a set of cojones.

After their 2009 elections, the president of El Salvador, of the FMLN (the former Communist guerrilla fighters) came out and announced that after all, joining ALBA would NOT be in the best interests of the nation.

The president of Guatemala publicly asked Honduras to join with his country and the other Central American countries to engage in foreign relations together.

Peru’s subsequent elections kept the nation’s distance from Chavez.

Russia, the Bolsheviks, Western financing

Re-posted from a discussion elsewhere:

German and the Russian Bolshevik insistence on quitting the war was a good cover during WWII for German capitalists supporting the purported sworn enemies of capitalists inside Russia. Just like “democracy” is a believable cover for Obama’s support for the “Arab Spring” that it turns out is actually the “Arab Winter”. (Note that nobody in the Media, Fox News included is admitting an editorial mistake on that one). But hundreds of thousands, probably millions, have strong trouble believing the cover story anymore, and most of those know how to add, no matter that all the government-media complex is pretending skeptics don’t exist.

But then there’s another twist to that. The Czar was already deposed when Lenin and Trotsky went in. The big Western banks and financial interests had starved the Russians for war financing, and all the Russian institutions were feeling that. The new Kerensky government needed the financing from the West, with the Bolsheviks and the war making havoc of their economy. They begged the West to let them quit the war and keep the financing because Russian domestic opposition was putting their government in danger.

The Western bankers and financiers said, No way Jose, you quit the war you quit the financing. (Unspoken subtext: We don’t care if the Bolsheviks take over, in fact our pals the Kaisers are sending Trotsky with gold to finance them). Remember this was also just a few scant years after the same bankers hoodwinked the United States to enact both the income tax and the Federal Reserve, too….

So the Russian front continued at war, the Bolsheviks rode the anti-war sentiment and Western gold to power, Russia quit the war anyway –and then– Western money poured into Bolshevik Russia anyway despite their quitting the war…..

How to catch wild pigs

I have heard this story before, in a different version of it. But it’s a story of great significance and a good parallel to how a people who are accustomed to political and economic freedoms are enticed to accept their own captivity and eventual butchering. This time I found it here:

http://votingamerican.wordpress.com

There is good information there, but as always, as my collection of views do not classify easily,  I do not necessarily agree with everything he may or may not have to say. By the way, the story may even help some people survive as the judgments on the wicked nation of America take increasing effect:

Question: “Do you know how to catch wild pigs?”

Answer (Not a joke):  “You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground.

The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn.

“When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming.
When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence.

“They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side.

“The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again.

You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.

Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom.

They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught.

Soon they go back to eating the free corn.

They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.”

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America .

The government keeps pushing us toward Marxist/Communism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc.

While we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time.

The Russian periodical Pravda is now bitterly criticizing America for implementing the platform of the Marx’s Communist Manifesto.

Honduras’ Congress and the Supreme Court

Golly, the things they’re describing in Honduras about their Congress and President sound like The 2010 American Congress and the nationalization of the medical industry.

ABC is describing it as a big mess and they are even repeating the now discredited lie that Zelaya was ousted in his pajamas. In reality we now know he wore a suit as he left the presidential mansion, passing by statues of himself that he had used to decorate the place, because neighbors saw him in the suit. He changed into the pajamas in Costa Rica for a sympathy play.

It is ABC that has been flailing about in its own reporting. The things they criticize about Honduras are happening in their own base country of the United States and they could not be happier, it seems…

Well, looking at other news sources, it seems this story originated with the Associated Press, which served as the propaganda arm for the Zelaya-Chavez-Castro alliance effort to establish another permanent dictatorship in Latin America and call it “democracy”. They are back to bashing Honduras again.

They probably had to conduct ten interviews with citizens in the street before they found one that referred to the 2009 constitutional succession as a “coup”. It was Zelaya’s coup against his own government that was ousted along with him.

But the criticism is hypocritical, coming from ABC,  which joined all the rest of the world press in 2009 demanding that the master of presidency by decree and now ex-dictator Manuel Zelaya be restored to his throne to boss the country!

There is certainly more to the story than even what we’re seeing, and the guy that complains about the “Danza de Milliones” is protecting his own neck to by assuredly sitting on some truly damaging information about his peers –and they are doing the same thing no doubt the other way.

I know people who have served in that Congress, but the best ones only serve one term because you can only run around with wolves for so long before you start howling like one. Therein lies truly nasty stuff.

Thank God that the Honduran people were so outraged by the attempt to make the Chavez-Zelaya dictatorship permanent that they delivered some mighty blows back to the empire, the Congress had to channel the energy.

And hey folks, Michael Strong offered the best thing Honduras has had a chance at in centuries, and the Congress approved it, and the Supreme Court threw it out. Was it the same Supreme Court? If it was, then my doubt in this fight is toward whoever stopped it.

Because territorial integrity would have been preserved, there was no advocacy of presidential re-election, and the irrevocable guarantee of a republican form of government would also have been preserved intact. Those are the only three items that are irrevocable and immutable in the Constitution of Honduras.

Where were these international voices to defend the Supreme Court and the independence of the different branches of government when the Honduran Supreme Court did, with the Congress, against a dictator, exactly that in 2009? Where was this concern when Zelaya was issuing illegal and unconstitutional orders in his plan to consolidate permanent power?

Health care institutions collecting your info to “protect the president”?

December 8, 2012

Thank you to Doug Hagmann, who wrote this article:

Health info collected to “protect the president”:

http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/51564

One alert mother read the fine print on a permission form she signed for a medical procedure, and it contained the following:

The paragraph subheading reads “National Security”, and declares they may disclose your health information to federal officials for “intelligence and national security activities authorized by law”. What law?

The form was dated 2003, but a bit of investigative research by this author resulted in the admission by a legal representative of the health services company that changes are made in the form as recently as 2012, but without changing that date on the form. In other words, the date on the form is totally useless non-information.

The author then located a source associated with a local medical facility where he has had a long relationship and found that they too had identical language in their own privacy forms they have patients sign off on.

That means it’s a mandate. And the language is wide open for anything they want to get. This is a blatant, in-your-face unconstitutional break in the Fourth Amendment, not even an attempt to run around it. They get to look at all the medical records they want to at any time, the IRS being master snoopers they will enforce compliance now (mind you, to “protect the president”), and mind you also this is a president that has a kill list.

It has been said that President Nixon had an enemies list, now Obama has a kill list.

The Secret Service now prohibits free speech inside arbitrary zones where the president happens to be, no doubt usually safely outside the concentration of cameras that follow the Chief Executive around.

So we have self-written warrants (no judge), free speech suppression, a kill list, indefinite detention, a president going to war without even pretending to inform the Congress (much less ask for a constitutional declaration) –but asking permission of the United Nations, who denies protection for ambassadors in the hottest war zones where al-Qaeda dominate.

That last one is a doozy. Appointing an open homosexual to an ambassadorship in a Muslim nation (Libya) known for Muslim radicalism and where al-Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood dominate the militia that have control of the country, and then sending him to talks with the worst of them to recruit them for another new American surrogate war in Syria!

Recruiting from the same crowd guys they recruited for Afghanistan! For the same religious wars theme. Here they roundly and soundly condemn so self-righteously any Christian pastor that burns a Koran or an Egyptian Christian that supposedly made an anti-Muslim video, and sending a “gay” guy to talk the Muslim radicals into another religious war in Syria.

That religious war in Syria, by the way, where Muslims are killing Christians in big scale, sometimes yelling “Die, Christian pig, die!” And of course the Allawites, non-Muslims also but with Islamic influences.

Maybe Assad’s big sin was allowing a movie about the early Christian churches‘ history in Syria to play in the theaters across the land, another under-reported story in the West.

(See you read my blog to the end and get important factoids seen almost nowhere else, eh?)

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. – Proverbs 29:2

Syria WMD’s? Deja vu all over again? Did we see this movie before?

December 8, 2012

Well, well now…

How many times have you felt like, “Feels like Deja Vu all over again”?

They’ve been building up the Syria thing after they finally got rid of the guy who was on track to set up a pan-African currency based on actual real gold (aka “gold certificate“). What that means is, if you have a certificate that gets you what it says in actual metal, and what that means is that central bankers were going to lose control and Africa was going to get a little bit of economic independence.

Maybe you thought it was because he was a bad guy dictator? He was setting up workers’ councils in plants to run them. The Libyan government opened up its warehouses of weapons and gave them out to whoever wanted them to defend their country, because it did not fear the people. Out of the governments that were overthrown in the so-called (probably misnomered) “Arab Spring“, the one in Libya came stamped “Made In USA and Europe“).

Remember all the weapons of mass destruction they were going to find in Iraq? Deja vu all over again. Having watched the rebellion in Syria bog down, now they’re talking about the chemical weapons Syria is getting ready to use. Really? Did we see this movie before?

Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.–Psalm 35:8

Elsewhere in the news, Benghazi-gate is not going away, as the story at Investors’ Business Daily points out:

http://news.investors.com/ibd-editorials/112012-634215-blaming-intel-chief-wont-end-benghazigate.htm

Some Republicans may play along with their normal week squeaky protests against abuses of power in the White House, some will not.

They got a scapegoat but the White House still went for duck and cover behind the skirts of the United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice, who is now caught with her hands in the cookie jar, but she was taking cookies for her boss! She was no doubt hoping for a good helping of promotion.

They let her go out there and blame free speech for the seven-hour full pitched battle in Benghazi –that they watched in real-time in the White House– in which there were so many attackers that the very capable American soldiers were not able to last longer than that.

What demonstration lasts seven hours with bullets and rockets and mortar fire flying all over the place?

How much is too much? When is enough, enough already!

With the re-appointment of Obama by powers unseen, and the help of Propaganda Media, they got him past the election and avoided very much scrutiny over the different places where election fraud apparently occurred. But it is a sign of the times that things have gotten so bad in America that people are able to see this as a credible election outcome.

But the coverups in the government-media complex expose an ugly underbelly here, and the way this re-election operation was executed shows a bit of hubris, in that they now know they have a major portion of the demographic, if not the majority, that they can count on to turn their thinking on a dime without really thinking [oxymoron intended] in true Big Brother fashion.

Those who can see –because they have their eyes open– have an obligation to spread the truth and repeat the truth because truth is the best antidote to a lie. You don’t need tricks and lies and coverups if you’re telling the truth. Those who don’t want the truth are like the guy who said, “Stop it! Don’t confuse me with the facts!”

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 2 Thessalonians 2:10

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. – 2 Timothy 3:13

IT’s time for those who can prepare materially for what is inevitably coming to do so, and those who cannot to make sure they are prepared mentally, psychologically, with the knowledge of what is happening, and most importantly, spiritually.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. – Hosea 4:6

And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, [many] days. — Daniel 11:33

But even of the Antichrist, remember:

And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. – Daniel 11:45

Romney and Obama: Is there ANY difference?

November 4, 2012

In the article linked below, Chuck Baldwin included an interesting (very long) list of positions that both Romney and Obama hold in common:

http://chuckbaldwinlive.com/home/archives/5229

But in another interesting twist, Chuck exposes the fact that a great many “conservative” organizations have received big money from “a slew of PACS and foundations that funneled thousands of dollars” that Romney created, and apparently they put on their own muzzles and made him out to be a “conservative”, as if he had repented of his strong pro-abortion policies and push for ever more and bigger government as governor in Massachusetts, increasing the control of government officials over our lives.

Here is just one paragraph with much of list but not all, with a comment below about one or two of them, kind of disclaimers…

As I have noted in previous columns, the differences between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama are miniscule on virtually every salient issue. They both supported TARP; they both supported Obama’s economic stimulus package; they both supported so-called assault weapons bans and other gun control measures; Obama has an “F” rating from Gun Owners of America, while Romney has a “D-” rating from GOA; neither man supports a balanced budget; neither man opposes foreign aid; they both supported the bailout of the auto industry; they both have a track record of being big spenders; they both fully support the Federal Reserve; they both oppose a full audit of the Fed; they are both supporters of universal health care; both men are showered with campaign contributions from Wall Street; neither of them wants to eliminate the IRS or the direct income tax; both men are on record as saying the TSA is doing a “great job”; they both supported the NDAA, including the indefinite detention of American citizens without due process of law; they both supported the renewal of the Patriot Act; they both believe that the President has “executive power” to assassinate and kill; both support the “free trade” agenda of the global elite; they are both soft on illegal immigration; they both support NAFTA and CAFTA; they both have a history of appointing liberal judges; they both believe the President has the authority to take the nation to war without the approval of Congress; and neither of them has any qualms about running up more public debt to the already gargantuan debt of 16 trillion dollars.

I’m going to parse out that list for effect in bullet form to make them more visible:

They both supported TARP;

they both supported Obama’s economic stimulus package;

they both supported so-called assault weapons bans and other gun control measures;

Obama has an “F” rating from Gun Owners of America, while Romney has a “D-” rating from GOA;

neither man supports a balanced budget;

neither man opposes foreign aid;

they both supported the bailout of the auto industry;

they both have a track record of being big spenders;

they both fully support the Federal Reserve;

they both oppose a full audit of the Fed;

they are both supporters of universal health care;

both men are showered with campaign contributions from Wall Street;

neither of them wants to eliminate the IRS or the direct income tax;

both men are on record as saying the TSA is doing a “great job”;

they both supported the NDAA, including the indefinite detention of American citizens without due process of law;

they both supported the renewal of the Patriot Act;

they both believe that the President has “executive power” to assassinate and kill;

both support the “free trade” agenda of the global elite;

they are both soft on illegal immigration;

they both support NAFTA and CAFTA;

they both have a history of appointing liberal judges;

they both believe the President has the authority to take the nation to war without the approval of Congress;

and neither of them has any qualms about running up more public debt to the already gargantuan debt of 16 trillion dollars.

[Editor’s note: I do support free trade, but not the “free trade agenda” of “the global elite”, because their “free trade agenda” has nothing to do with “free trade”, but it does relate to very un-free control.]

There are more things they hold in common, and Chuck Baldwin does mention some of them, like the fact that they both support the current legal enforcement of the both ridiculous and dangerous (for babies) scientific view that a baby in the womb is part of a woman’s own body. Obama has broken many promises and told many lies, but then Romney says he’s pro-life, giving talking heads a chance to say they’re glad he changed his position, but he says he’ll do nothing about Roe v Wade, and he doesn’t talk about this, and he does not speak repentant about his economy-damaging effects of his policies as governor in Massachusetts.

Gun Owners of America

Gun Owners of America (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Just to say that a forced tax on every Massachusetts resident that on the national scale Americans marched against by the millions and even all the left-leaning polls said were against by 70 percent, meaning probably 85 percent, is a “good solution” for anybody is to be clueless and shows he is NEITHER “conservative” and certainly not libertarian.

“Let’s not also forget that Romney’s advisors actually met with Obama’s advisors on a dozen occasions to assist them with designing ObamaCare! It’s no surprise that Romney is refusing to call ObamaCare a tax, even though it’s the largest middle class tax hike in American history. The reason for this is because, while governor, his RomneyCare plan–the model for ObamaCare–was attacked as a tax and he argued it wasn’t.

Romney projects an air of knowing much more about his topics than Obama, but he is still a top-down guy that wants to impose his own solutions on everybody that doesn’t want them. And so Romney will know what he is saying when he reads a teleprompter.

I pretty much agree with Mr. Baldwin that Romney will win this election, but unfortunately his administration will look like the Bush years, and meantime the powers that be in the USA continue to push us fast toward a dollar crash.

LiveLeak.com – Syrian “rebel”:

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c95_1351548954

God damned meddling Yankees and their leaders, the ones trying to wipe out the Christians and the Alawites from Syria, the ones who are sending them arms from the rulers of the Yankees.

Just like during the Crusades, the Christians who actually are natives of the MIddle East hate the fighting and only want reconciliation. It’s too bad they look to Europe to arrange peace there, they forget that France gladly charged into Libya carrying NATO colors and pulled America in with them, and the result is tens of thousands dead at the hand of the Muslim version of Lenin‘s gullible “useful idiots”.

And as each side becomes more entrenched, the possibility of reconciliation becomes ever more remote, and paranoia begins to spread. ‘You’ve got to ask, who benefits most from this war?’ says Dr B’s wife to me in a stage whisper, across the table one night in Beirut. OK, who does benefit? ‘Israel,’ says Dr Bassam instantly, then relays a complicated theory about the benefit to Israel of weakening Syria and Lebanon through partition.

But Assad’s Syria is now a client state of Russia.

Does this sound weird to western ears? In the Middle East, it’s not an uncommon view. In Zhaleh, the Archbishop of the Bekaa Valley, the Most Revd John Darwish, gives us an audience to stress how important it is that we Europeans don’t follow America’s lead and consider arming the rebels. ‘We must have reconciliation, not war. And only Europe can achieve peace,’ he says. ‘If they don’t, the war will spread first to Lebanon and then even to Europe. The jihadis won’t stop. How much will England be affected in ten or 15 years?’ The question hangs in the air, almost like a threat. ‘This war is not between Syrians, it is between the powers of the world,’ says the archbishop darkly……

The greatest tragedy for Syria:

Whether the cause is local or global, one sad fact is that the Christians are leaving Syria, and once they’ve left, most won’t come back. This is the least examined tragedy of the conflict — the exodus of Christians from their holy land.
