Separation of schools and state

A better solution for students would be the complete separation of education and state. Just like any “help” from government for religion is in reality a suppression of religious liberty –as Montesquieu warned, so it is with education. ALL state-funded education incorporates indoctrination that trains the next generation to be “good citizens” the way the state likes it.

In fact, the “founding fathers” of publicly-funded education, Horace Mann and openly socialist John Dewey, explicitly and openly stated that principle.

That’s why the most “successful” education reforms in terms of implementing their plans involve state money.

It takes a village of close knit natural nuclear families to resist the state. (And true believers to supply extra backbone). Knowing Austrian economics (real-world economics) and independent logical thinking helps too.
