Q “…How is one supposed to know when a god demands people to go to war and when is it just a demagogue making claims to act in the interrest of this, or that god?…”
A Well I’ll tell you. God is almost NEVER in favor of war. I’ve been very loud in opposing EVERY war the USA government has waged in my lifetime, starting with Vietnam.
James 4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you?come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
Today, too many Christian preachers, pastors, speakers and radio show hosts and hostesses are much too friendly toward the warrior culture that America has become. It is no excuse that Big Corporate Media heaps on the propaganda and beats the drums for the so-called “War on Terror”. There is no war on terror, because the warmongers that coined the term know full well what they’re doing. Like that media hero Malala told Obama to his face, those drone killings are multiplying the number of terrorists.
There are tens of thousands of Christians who are banned from the media and banned even from Christian radio, who are fighting this battle against the Satanic warrior worship in churches today.
The only acceptable “violence” for a Christian is self-defense, or if the Good Samaritan comes upon a mugging in progress, it’s justified for him to stop it.
Governments are by definition an institution of violence, and they are the worst perpetrators of war. Jesus Christ paid his taxes so the government would leave him alone, not because the money belonged to Caesar. See Matthew 17. Christians should yank their kids out of the government indoctrination centers and home-school them.
Ron Paul is the one who broke through the media barrier. A Christian who said everything he did was based in his Biblical faith. All Christians should follow that example.
