Health care

#1 And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they marvelled at him.- Mark 12:17

What did Caesar own that he did not steal?

#2 Without the corporations getting TAX BREAKS for health care, the insurance companies will lose a lot of their market, money will leave the market for paying for medical care, more so if Medicare and Medicaid were not in the picture. That’s when people will shop around a LOT more aggressively for lower pricing for the services.
=> It works with cosmetic surgery. My minimum-wage daughter was able to pay for a nose job, and later a bit of breast augmentation, because prices find the “price point”.

#3 The free market always makes EVERYTHING more affordable. “Affordable” depends on the definition. If you got the FDA out of the meddling, and went free market on medicine, for example, it would change the way studies are done for drug approval. Right now, Big Pharma lobbyists write the regulations that keep out the new genius with a new idea from selling, and push natural remedies out the ad pricing in their media. Plus their government lackeys are glad to order food sellers to shut up about the medical benefits and curative abilities of food.

You cannot, CANNOT, trust government to just do what’s good for you. The people in government do what’s good for themselves. At least that’s how the incentive goes. Honest economists call this the “moral hazard” effect.

#4 Medicare came into existence because Lydnon Baynes Johnson was a socialist. Private economic activity has been paying for it up to now, but now that Bush and Obama have killed the economy, waged unaffordable wars (another GOVERNMENT-caused health hazard), we the people cannot afford to prop it up anymore. One report said up to ONE-THIRD of Chicago’s doctors refuse Medicare now for example. Insurance companies are dropping out of Obamacare. Doctors are declaring the separate of their medical practice from Obamacare.

Obamacare provides for free “end-of-life” counseling, which will turn into “nothing by mouth” like they do with babies they don’t want to keep.
