How can you know you are saved? The Bible says so!

Isaiah 1:18

God pleads with us let him cleanse us from sin. (Jesus washes them away, he took the sin and pride and the shame:

17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

The Lord is nigh (near) to the broken-hearted; he loves to give comfort. A person with a “contrite spirit” is one that is sorry for their sins..

18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

John 3:16 is a summary of the whole Gospel in one verse. God loves us no matter who we are, and gave his “only begotten” Son for us, so we can be free of sin and death and hell:

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Every person is a sinner (jesus was the only sinless one). Sin brings death, but God wants to overcome our sin and death and hell, and give us life:

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Remember, believing in your heart that Jesus is risen brings righteousness, and confessing the Lord Jesus accepts salvation.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Jesus wants to save everyone, just let him in.

REVELATION 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Remember, it is by God’s righteousness that we are saved through Jesus Christ.

Here’s why I wanted to share these verses with you:

1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

REMEMBER, your salvation does not depend on you, it depends on Jesus, forever more:

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
