It’s getting crazy out there…
From the Washington Times, quoted at www.lewrockwell.com:
A West Point think tank has issued a paper warning America about “far right” groups such as the “anti-federalist” movement, which supports “civil activism, individual freedoms and self-government.”
The report issued this week by the Combating Terrorism Center at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., is titled “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right.”
Whoa, wait a minute! The people they are calling “anti-federalist”, are more often actually the federalists. The political ideology that supports subverting local and state level governments with command-and-control rule from the federal government, and with the federal government exceeding its constitutional authority.
The psych effect is in the word association trick of putting “far-right” in the same sentence with “individual freedom”.
That’s a very direct attack on the blooming and fast-expanding liberty movement of millions of people that follow truly libertarian principles that emphasize the sovereignty of the individual. One of my favorite quotes to come out of the ideal of individual freedom is one that demonstrates the folly of majority votes. It’s couched as an definition of democracy by example: “Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what’s for dinner”. No wonder some people are saying “Our goose is cooked”.

Or beware Egypt , if a democratic rule wishes “a religious law of order”, then it should be if 51% so wish.

The abuse of the word “democracy” as some good thing in our generation is one of the most effective uses of Orwellian Doublespeak in modern history.
My favorite definition by example of “democracy”: two wolves and a lamb voting on what’s for dinner.
The majority deciding to confiscate most of the wealth of one percent of their neighbors is an open declaration of tyranny.
The claim that a majority would agree, or the fact that it is a credible idea that they agree, is an admission that such a majority is accessory to grand theft looting.
But the master manipulator money changers at central banks everywhere, like the Fed, they are glad that the looters have an “election” and that they seem to always elect actors that cover their theft by inflationary dollar and currency devaluation.

The principle of individual liberty: I believe that two wolves and a sheep do not have a right to vote as a “collective” on what’s for dinner.
What’s more, I do not believe that two wolves and a sheep do not have any “right” as a collective to vote on who gets what for dinner.
