CIA Now Thinks Greece Military Coup Possible

August 28, 2011

When the majority insists on demands that the government treasury continue to support more than it can, when there is no more productivity to give them from a minority sector because there is no more blood in that turnip, then what’s got to give? No more loans from elsewhere to prop up the freebies with foreign production, domestic production atrophied, but the masses demand the same level of benefits as always.

Where else is it going to go? I am beginning to think that the natural progression of affairs is toward a police state, unless some bright bulb gets power that understands that the best thing any government can do to improve the lot of its citizens is to literally do nothing to improve it. Of course the adjustment from sucking government teat to growing your own food is a difficult transition, but necessary.

Take the banking “crisis”, for example. The quickest way to resolve it would have been to let it all take its course. A lot of banks would have probably gone into bankruptcy, and some receiverships may have discovered some criminals in the lot, and they would have come back a lot more firm.

And let the banks go ahead and foreclose on properties, and stop pretending your helping home buyers if they can’t afford the house they bought! It’s NOT FAIR either to the ones who saw it was crazy, and stupid, to buy a house in the bubble. The government should stay out of the business of financing stupidity and greed.

Rick Santorum’s views about Ron Paul reveal a disconnect from reality

August 28, 2011

Santorum is the one with the disconnect from reality. He also showed that he still does not understand what he’s talking about, because he still uses the word “isolationist”, which Ron Paul is NOT at all, anymore than the American revolutionaries that founded the nation, who warned their descendants to avoid getting into entanglements with foreign powers, most specifically European powers.

Isolationist not. Switzerland is non-interventionist, but where is anybody who can call Swizerland “isolationist” without being laughed out of the room?

And Ron Paul has a point. Israel has its hands tied by its overbearing patron, calling so many shots. So what is Santorum going to do to make the Muslims love us? Another Iraq or Afghanistan?

The biggest crack in the Muslim Wall is inside, in the minds and hearts and dreams of their own peoples. In growing numbers that surprise even me, more and more of them are getting dreams about Jesus Christ and seeking out more information on their own from Christians, sometimes risking their own lives. The testimony of “Love thine enemy” is a new one to most of them..

Sure there are a lot of Islamists that are dangerous. Christians should just shame them on having such a weak religious belief that must rely on force of arms and laws instead of winning hearts and minds for adherents. And when they build an in-your-face mosque, they should get out on that sidewalk and pass out literature about the loving God they don’t know yet.

Guitar Frets: Environmental Enforcement Leaves Musicians in Fear | Postmodern Times –

August 28, 2011

Maybe payback will knock some sense into some of the arraogant class.

Let’s hear it for musicians getting a taste of the loss of their freedoms to micro-management of lives by government.

..Still, musicians cling to the old materials. Last year, Dick Boak, director of artist relations for C.F. Martin & Co., complained to Mother Nature News about the difficulty of getting elite guitarists to switch to instruments made from sustainable materials. “Surprisingly, musicians, who represent some of the most savvy, ecologically minded people around, are resistant to anything about changing the tone of their guitars,” he said You could mark that up to hypocrisy—artsy do-gooders only too eager to tell others what kind of light bulbs they have to buy won’t make sacrifices when it comes to their own passions. Then again, maybe it isn’t hypocrisy to recognize that art makes claims significant enough to compete with environmentalists’ agendas

I’ll chalk it up to hypocrisy. The truth sets you free…

Walker in Wisconsin

August 27, 2011

If Scott Walker in Wisconsin had just capitulated to the shakedown, the first union demands were all about money, remember that, contrary to later PR backtracking, if they had “complied” with all the union extortion (contrary to taxpayer and voter interest), then it was hundreds even thousands of teachers that would have lost the jobs altogether. Besides the production lost to the state economy by the moneys taken from the tax base and the secondary effect on jobs.

Think about that the next time the union bosses try something like this, and ask yourself why a president wants to support a hit against a state economy this way?

And to think demagogues turn heads by claiming that unemployment checks and welfare checks “create jobs” in the secondary effects, while denying that tax confiscation has any negative effect. One plus one is…

And remember that in a poor country like that, people are glad to be working for that much, or else there wouldn’t be able to get enough hands for the work, and they would have to pay more.

In Chile Allende unionized the country so bad nothing was getting done. The lie is that nationalization keeps profits at home, but the truth is that the copper mines they confiscated from Anaconda LOST MONEY under government-union control, and accidents doubled and tripled, because the bosses did not have to worry about that dirty nasty “profit motive”, and so the people that reported to the bosses didn’t have to worry about petty things like workplace safety or productivity.

How’s that “socialism forever” working out for you, Castro? Not bad when you can conquer an oil-exporting country by lies and stealth, maybe? How’s that working out for you, Venezuela? Hondurans hate communism with a passion, and they can see what happened in those two countries and don’t want any part of it.

It’s not fair to the poor to lie to them and tell them unions are good for them. It’s not fair to the guy who needs the job working for less than the union demands, it’s a mob-extorted shortage of labor, just like the unspoken ways in which medical schools keep admissions limited.

That’s one thing I’ll give Castro credit for, in the first mass emigration to Miami he lost about 80 percent of the country’s medical doctors, and a few years later he had twice as many as there were before, just like it would be if they didn’t have such a hold on it. Of course the devil is in the details, and Cuban agents are all over them when they leave the country…

(..And kept demand high by force with laws against private sharing of information..)

Muslims see ‘foreign law’ bill as attack on Shariah – Washington Times

August 25, 2011

That’s baloney. Lots of Americans have been upset over the infiltration of references to foreign laws and foreign courts in the US Supreme Court lately, for example, and the fact that the federal government has been ceding American law to United Nations hegemony piecemeal.

Ron Paul knows the quote: “First they ignore you…”

August 23, 2011

Try as you might, Ron Paul is not going away, and whatever you do with him, his message has more stickiness than your desire to ignore it. both arms of the government-media complex, the leftist shills and the neo-cons, try as they might, can do nothing against the truth but for the truth.

His shining of the light on the attacks on freedom in our generation has exposed them.

Freedom brings people together, and whatever band of operatives of the Establishment they identified with, they are sick and tired of being told what to do, and how much of their own incomes they can keep, and sick of lying conniving politicians.

That’s why they’re flocking to the only candidate in this thing who’s been there for 30 years, predicted the mess we’re in, the only one who really understands how to get out of it and how to set America’s liberty and prosperity engine free again.

“Democrats”, “Republicans”, leftists, rightists, conservatives, liberals, flaming homosexuals and true Christian fundamentalists, in the heartland and on the coasts, farmers and lawyers, construction workers and construction CEOs, information techies and users, teenagers and college kids, octogenarians, people of all kinds make up the Ron Paul Tea Party Revolution.

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, and then you win”.

The plutocrats and autocrats will not easily let go of their power, but their psy-tricks are lost on a people who have seen it like it is. “Not easily” means they have not shown their complete bag of evil in America yet, but they will, and there will be a mess as the green paper pig inflated dollar balloon pops, but in the end, even the Beast of Revelation “will come to his end, and none shall help him”.
