YouTube – John Stossel Links Gun Control to Higher Crime Rates

February 24, 2011

A good presentation on the issue, refreshing:

Among other snippets, he interviewed a group of felons, who confirmed the obvious: They don’t pay attention to the laws, they get a gun anyway. And that they try to avoid victims that they think might be carrying.

Thugs repudiated by border activists..

February 23, 2011

This looks like a bunch of thugs who thought they could scam a racket using the mess at the border, or at least use it to cover up their thefts, extortions and murders…

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41721711/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts/?fb_ref=story_header&fb_source=home_multiline

Gina Marie Gonzalez is the main witness against the killers, the surviving wife. She is now the widow of a murdered husband, mother of a murdered child, and she is alive to talk about it because:

“…Gonzalez called 911 when the assailants left the home for a few moments. While Gonzalez was on the phone, the assailants reentered the home and Gonzalez fired a handgun of her husband’s, wounding one of the assailants…”

Mega-Moguls LOVE High Income Tax Brackets-it’s for upstart competitors

February 21, 2011

All of those considerations apply whether it’s a free market, or whether it’s a centrally planned economy. We all know that central planning is a failed economic model. Especially since the government has always been the worse culprit in secrecy –in both capitalist and socialist models. And it is the gang with the biggest guns.

As to what’s fair, the government also hides stuff from us all the time, and every sucessive regime in the country has gotten worse from the previous one, including LBJ and on to today.

And twisting around my words and just repeating yourself about mega-corps sounds like twisting in the wind, because it’s clear from what I’ve shared that I am trying to clue you in on the biggest scam of a big clique of Big Mega-Moguls and Tycoons in history that they are trying to use against you and me, and their collaborators, to use the Big Guns of War, the Police State, and Economic Imperialism against the little guys –you and me–.

It’s all about freedom. The “agenda that supports the top 1%” is the fraudulent tax-the-rich scheme, because every establishment Republican party boss along with every establishment Democrat party boss, passes into law the legislation that games the system for them.

Soros with his offshore investments, nobody, not even his boy in the WH, knows where all his money is. Rockefellers, when they’re honest, they admit they don’t owe any taxes. The list is long of members of this clique of Mega-Moguls, darlings of both the Left and the Right.

How to Improve Education

February 20, 2011

Education, one of my favorite subjects:

From this web site with info for young people considering a career in teaching:

http://www.ehow.com/info_7753232_public-private-school-teacher-salaries.html:

…The average salary for a U.S. public school teacher in a school district is $42,153, according to Payscale.com in December 2010.
…Private School…
# It has been a popular belief that private schools pay higher teacher salaries than public schools because most private industry jobs pay higher than public positions. However, the average salary for a private school teacher in $35,342, according to Payscale.com in December 2010, *more than 20 percent less than public school teachers*.

From studies of Florida voucher programs:

http://educationnext.org/does-competition-improve-public-schools/

“…We examine whether students in schools that face a greater threat of losing students to private schools as a result of the introduction of tax-credit funded scholarships improve their test scores more than do students in schools that face less-pronounced threats. We find that they do, and that this improvement occurs before any students have actually used a scholarship to switch schools. In other words, it occurs from the threat of competition alone…”

On that web site, check out the photo of the crowd that marched in favor of the Florida tax credit-funded and opportunity voucher programs, more color than bleach in there than in any of Jesse Jackson’s dreams..

What rights? What about “No Taxation Without Representation?

February 20, 2011

The leftist-agitated demonstrators in Wisconsin are supposedly “public servants”. They are acting like “public masters”, telling their states’ taxpayers –their purported employers who put up the money– they have to pay up and then let them tell us what to pay them?

Let the market decide. Government has too much micro-legislation on the subject anyway. Collective bargaining has stunted government-school education everywhere.

The public purse belongs to the taxpayers, who voted for these elected representatives to bring spending back down to earth, and do not want to mortgage their children’s future to Big Corporate Bankers.

At first the union Bosses demanded negotiation on the pay and the benefits but then saw that it was a loser PR game since private sector equivalent positions pay less. So they stick to this “right”.

Florida is a right-to-work state. One software contracting company many years back worked its subcontractors 50 hours a week, nights, weekends, constantly, even a six-plus months pregnant mother I met once. Couple of years later that boss-owner was no more in business.

Another company, a bank, worked its employees the same way, and they had an ad every week seeking programmers because they couldn’t hold on to them. Couple of years later the ads went away, presumably with the bad managements.

I know personally a number of minimum-wage workers here that have left jobs that they considered overly abusive.

The free market is the fairest way to determine the payroll value of a good or service, or place to work.

The disrespect for property and taxpayers, invokes images of one of the central issues in the American Revolution itself.

The George Soros – Egypt – Muslim Brotherhood – U.S. State Department Links

February 20, 2011

Follow the links and data provided here:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/2665821/posts

Here you can read the names and dates and connect the dots, that lead to Soros, Obama’s State Department, Baradei, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the riots in Egypt, and the beds they all slept in together..

http://www.michaelsavage.wnd.com/files/filesSavage/Savage-ObamaGivingMiddleEastToIslamistRadicals-Rev03.pdf

The anti-American wiki-leaks even provides clues, exposing secret American State Department communications that reveal they helped sneak an Egyptian dissident out of the country to a secretive conference in New York held to teach political activists on how to organize to topple their governments, and how they helped sneak him back in, and how he continued to report the progress in organizing local groups in preparation for the day.

It points to the connection of that conference to Soros, which puts the Egyptian demonstrations, Soros, the State Department, and Obama on the same page. Baredei was openly mentioned by State Department officials as a good successor to Mubarak, but as soon
as the Mubarak and post-Mubarak governments began negotiations, Baredei immediately accepted the Muslim Brotherhood’s naming him as their spokesman and negotiator. Every Muslim Brotherhood member takes an oath to support the worldwide Islamic caliphate.

What institution is the most dangerous to human rights?

February 20, 2011

That’s why our freedoms are endangered when any such institution of society gets too much power. But the most dangerous of these, as the ACLU is fond of saying, is the government itself.

But then they are selective with which rights they choose to protect from government, even using the excuse of religious freedom to attack religious freedom, and giving away the right of a free people to arm themselves to keep the government honest. And they act like respect for other people’s property is not also recognized in the Constitution.

Once upon a time I did not realize that one of the rights of the people should be respect for other people’s property.

I was once a Communist, a Marxist just like Obama is (it takes one to know one sometimes) but considering the facts of human nature I finally became a “syndicalist anarchist”, because, in my pre-Christian thinking, if you can’t trust people to govern themselves you can’t trust them to govern anybody else either.

But then you need something to hold in check the thieves and marauders, because human nature tends to move people to selfishness and abuse of neighbors and even their own offspring. The entire world was like that everywhere in the world until the influence of Jesus Christ filled the globe.

That’s why when people start deciding they know better than their neighbors how to divide up the wealth, then poverty and tyranny is close behind.

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

From his own mouth, Hugo Chavez is a Marxist

February 20, 2011

Stumbled across this link, a few seconds posted from an interview, Hugo Chavez (in Spanish) declaring himself a Marxist (“I have said many times”), and praising Karl Marx as “one of the greatest thinkers of all time”:

As if we all didn’t already know…

But here’s why I posted it. In this little piece, he also condemns the banks.

Another example of how socialism so-called is a big fat fraud perpetrated upon the poor, who become victims once again of the oligarchies that Chavez also praises.

Hugo Chavez, during his 12 years in power there, has multiplied Venezuela’s debt to those same bankers, while his economy is in shambles, and his state-owned oil industry is producing less oil than when the unions went on strike after he put his own cronies in charge.

Liberals’ Platform and Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto Platform

February 20, 2011

The clueless continue saying Palin offers no expertise or deep insights of her own. Ha. She holds to more of their ideas than they are told.

But why pick on her for that? Take on the socialists (aka “liberals”), because Karl Marx put their ideas in the Communist Manifesto more than 150 years ago…

Consider that even in the U.S.,

1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.

(1) all real estate property is now considered fair game for the regime’s confiscation at will, especially if you have a lot of it, and whenever they can invent a new subspecies classification,

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

(2) there is a constant demand continually to increase the “graduation” of the graduated income tax,

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

(3) inheritance is under attack (except for zillionaire socialists with Foundations that support leftist causes, with token admissions for smaller conservative millionaires),

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.

(4) income taxes are claimed from anybody with American citizenship or residence in the United States, or doing as much as sneezing on US territory,

5. Centralization of credit in the banks of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.

(5) we have a private banking cartel that owns the national bank (recently they’ve allowed news anchors to use the “national bank” words,

6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the state.

(6) the FCC and the Department of Transportation fill the bill, with TSA providing partial infrastructure for enforcement, and now commissions working on a back-door content enforcement scheme..

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.

(7) having resigned themselves to mere complete control over factories and the means of production, they have begun the process of acquiring stock ownership as the first moves, waiting for the next “economic crisis” to extend it more..

8. Equal obligation of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

(8) “equal obligation of all to work”, by which he means (read the context) firing manufacturing execs and management (but to be replaced by their own subservient lackeys, like Chavez did with his Petrocaribe and Obama with Government Motors),
PLUS the agricultural specifics aided and abetted in preparation for further subsuming, with immigration laws that encourage fence-hopping..

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country.

**–> Federal agriculture policies has resulted in the dismal decline of the family farm along with the family business, integration of farming and factories, and the sprawling metropolis. However, as to scattering us across the hinterland, the ability to rule us and control us is the major goal of this point, so…

(a) Malthusian population reduction factions want to squeeze the population together into
reduce their numbers to more manageable levels and expose the proles to both artificial and natural dangers, and

(b) some of their social control engineers have told them we are more manageable if kept inside urban corrals..

10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc.

Finally, something good, the ending of children’s factory labor “in its present form”, which was abusive, probably more so in Europe than America…

Note: Karl Marx wanted “free” education PUBLIC schools. Kids in America today, even in my day, get a good dose of big bad robber barons, and now there is much emphasis on vocational preparation of children for trades.

A broken analog dial clock is correct twice a day, and ending of abusive child labor practices was a good thing. Of course his real goal was to move the children into the indoctrination centers of secular taxpayer funded government schools. They got that one good.

19,001 and counting

February 20, 2011

Word is, Governor Walker has had 19,000 emails of support for his positions and for the Wisconsin legislature.

He apparently realizes he was elected by a great number more than the extortionist noise-makers and paid demonstrators surrounding the Capitol.

The socialists have nationalized this thing, starting with Mr Socialist-In-Chief himself. That means if they keep going with this, there will be massive national blowback against the Empire and the Imperious.

What have they got to complain about? After the way they forced America into an inferior socialist medical regime that they obviously did not want.

Read 2 Samuel 15 to see the story of the “first Communist”, telling people with petitions that he would given them this or that, and wishing he were ruler to give them a better deal than the King did. Just to get into power.

Proverbs 29:2 ¶When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Proverbs 25:5 Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.
