Joe Biden meets with AFL-CIO Pres Richard Trumka to talk about secret stuff | Top of the Ticket | Los Angeles Times

Whattaya know:

Obama, saying he wanted to make his government the most transparent ever (ho-hum, how many times have we heard that before?), did open up the logs of the visitors to the White House, but NOT the logs from the offices next door, where he meets, for example, with ALF-CIO president Richard Trumka.

The matter in Wisconsin, and spreading, is about recruiting union workers for whatever future plans they are building. They would like to use them to break the will of taxpayers and of the American people.

Collective bargaining by government workers creates a conflict of interest on the part of elected representatives and government in general.

A private company has to make the concessions from its revenues, meaning, its own pockets.

Government management negotiators are not paying out of their pockets, because they get their pay from the same place as the government worker unions: you and me and whoever either pays taxes directly, or pays taxes indirectly from the “multiplier effect” of tax collection.
