The Crusades, Terrorism and the Middle East

April 28, 2013

The Crusades were an effort to take BACK by force that which had been taken by FORCE by Islamic conquest.
Wars are brutal and what’s missed in that is (1) the Crusades were opposed by many Christians of the day, including (2) St. Francis of Assisi, who brokered a peace between the two sides on one occasion.

The Inquisition was run by a *political* hierarchy that used the name of Christ for cover, just as today in the West the most vile of corrupt rulers use “democracy” as a cover, and a tyrannical Hugo Chavez used “majority vote” –and even God– as a cover (never mind the fraud).

How can anybody call the Inquisition period a “Christian” thing when a central issue was to BAN THE BIBLE AND BURN ITS ADVOCATES as witches? An identity thief can call himself anything. Kris Kringle or Santa Clause by any other lying name, no matter how much you paint lipstick on that pig.

Recently one Anders Behring Breivik shot 77 peaceful –and unarmed– campers dead in Norway (the first one was the only one armed security man) had advocated “Christian” culture on his web site. As soon as they saw the word “Christian”, CNN ran a feed at the bottom of the screen for hours on end, days, that said “Christian fundamentalist” — a criminally negligent and slanderous accusation against a great number of peaceful Christian fundamentalists. Because on the same web site where they got the word “Christian”, the shooter said that he did NOT believe the Bible and he did NOT believe in Jesus. CNN shows itself again to be “fundamentally” bigoted against the name of Jesus Christ.

It is also a sign of truncated thinking and anti-Christ bigotry to equate Christian and Islamic holy books or actions. Even militant Islamists –as they are painted in the Western media image of them–are no doubt offended at this irrational equivalency-by-monotonous-repetition equivalency meme. Atheists who do not have the need to invent such contortions, are appalled by this too. The worst horrors of history were done by officially and enforced atheist regimes that banned all religious faiths from any public expression.

In one of them, both the central figure (Christ) laid down his life to the death for unbelievers at the beginning, and millions of his followers have done the same since. In the other, the founding figure laid down the lives of unbelievers at the beginning, and 100s of thousands, maybe millions, of his followers have done the same thing since.

Most Muslims want to live in peace, and support their families. I have cultivated close friendship with Muslim co-workers, and we have talked about the principles of our faiths without even raising our voices. Many Muslims risk beheading for accepting Jesus Christ as risen Savior and many Christians risk beheading in many parts of the world for being Christians.

“Terrorism” is a very broad category of tactics used by small groups to leverage such tactics where the proponent is otherwise weak in power. We see the “blowback principle” take effect when the people targeted by such actions become enraged.

The unconstitutional undeclared “war against terrorism” was a Newspeak tactic to propel the U.S.A. and the world into a permanent state of war. All the easier to take away the “freedoms” that “they” supposedly hate us for. It all too easily expands into asking the subjects of the rulers to tell authorities about anybody who “hates the government”. We have seen this movie before.

Michael Scherer said it well, something like, They’re not over here because we’re free to enjoy a few beers at night, they don’t like us bombing and invading them. Nobody can accuse Mr. Scherer of gullibility. He was the head of the team that sought Osama bin Laden all those years and set it up for the next team to find him. I doubt he is portrayed in the Hollywood movie about the search.

He has explained many times in media interviews the established principle of “blowback”, a term often used within the CIA for such a phenomenon, where your actions have reactions. This is *NOT* a “blaming America” thing.

Who decided to bomb and invade over there? Was there ever any debate in Congress, as constitutionally required in the U.S., about a declaration of war? Was it “America”, or was it America’s rulers?

Was there ever a debate in Congress over whether to declare war on Libya? Or did America’s *rulers” decide to send in military force (Special Forces) on the ground while denying it? When the “rebels” began losing, who decided to bomb the crap out of Libyan government forces?

There were lots of talking heads that declared Gaddafi was murdering civilians. But the best evidence of massacre of civilians are the pictures of the town that is no more, obliterated, its inhabitants wiped out and “cleansed”, that the entire town of Tawarga.

It’s not that the murderers who perpetrated this racist atrocity hid anything. They bragged about it, they bragged that they were not going to let it rebuild, they bragged about wiping out the 10,000 black-skinned Africans who built it up. Towarga burning:

The world this week and the weeks to come

March 3, 2013

Race-based district maps: How are they not racial discrimination? How is the devastation of the inner city caused by their elected Democrat Party leaders, how is that not bad for citizens who just happen to have darker skin? What do miserably poor whites have to do with hurting blacks historically?

Rights are for individuals, not groups. A lynching is bad not because of somebody’s race but because the victim is a HUMAN BEING, a member of the ONLY ONE RACE, that is the HUMAN race.

Ronald Reagan was not perfect, in fact I suspect there was a very dark side to him that many “conservatives” fail to consider, but he did expose a lot that was wrong in DC, like one great truism when he said:

The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’

That’s what the recent flaps in the government-media complex remind me of. All this “help” the federal government has given our darker-skinned neighbors, how’s that workin’ out for ya? Their families are much more broken up, so many fatherless children that even Bill Cosby is appalled, clergymen begging for all the killing to stop, more black-on-black crime than ever.

Now it’s fifty years after the legislation passed that requires southern states to ask the federal government (courts) for permission to make its changes to districts that change with population. Back then, the states began implementing race-based districting, for the purpose of ending racial discrimination. Read that again.

But it still doesn’t do much for the smallest minorities, I suspect, even in areas where they have enough numbers to make a difference in an area’s voting patterns.

Came across this yahoo story about a mother’s fight to get access to her late son’s Facebook page.

http://news.yahoo.com/death-facebook-photos-could-fade-away-forever-085129756–finance.html

I have some mixed feelings about it. Not so many years agone, utility companies would accommodate spouses of the people whose names were on the account. I don’t know if it held for bank accounts, but now the Internet is a new thing. Some sons and daughters and spouses don’t always want mothers or fathers or mates having access to what they do on-line, so Internet companies do have some actual basis in their opposition to opening up such data to relatives in the case of death.

So there is legal limbo where “virtual property” lives after its “virtual owners” pass on.

+===================================================+

Well, here comes another very nasty stinging surprise from the law nobody was allowed to read till they pass it:
http://thehill.com/blogs/regwatch/healthcare/285691-obama-administration-rolls-out-dreaded-healthcare-rule

If Congress had ANY integrity at all, they would require themselves to read every bill themselves before they vote on it. Better still, certify that they had read it, specifically.

Hey, how about asking them ALL to do what Justin Amash does. For every single vote he casts in Congress, he posts an explanation on-line where the public, including of course the voters in his own district, can see them. Now THAT would be a good step for the rest of them…

Some of the congressmen that voted for the unconstitutional Obamacare law are still trying to tell us that this fee is a companion to other legislation that they say will bring insurance costs down by increasing competition.

In what convoluted Alice in Wonderland world does this lack-of-logic work? In the real world, health insurance costs to businesses and people have been shooting upward with no end in sight. It’s so bad that low-wage earners in your family –if you are not a millionaire like Rep. Nancy Pelosi-D and Senator Harry Reid-D, that is– those low-wage earners are earning less because their hours have been cut to the legal part-time threshold.

How does that help poor people? Oh, they tell us, never fear, they’re going to TAKE the money from the employers of those low-wage earners in “increased revenues” (“revenues” is Doublespeak language for “taxes”, and “taxes” is Doublespeak for taking your money by force). That will show them, except the employers will have even less money left over to pay to the employee.

Thanks a lot for nothing, as the saying goes.

Tariff wars put the Great Depression of the 1930s into high gear acceleration and economies into deceleration:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/china-business/9904512/China-fully-prepared-for-currency-war.html

China says it’s “full prepared” for a currency war, after Japan’s Prime Minister said he is determined to force devaluation of the yen to boost exports.

This helps illustrate the problem with political control of currencies. Without government price-fixing, resources would get allocation to production in the way that is of most optimal value to the optimum number of people, as determined by actual demand.

A woman saved from a burglar by the hand of God, she says:
http://www.komonews.com/news/local/Seattle-woman-believes-God-saved-her-from-burglar-194299371.html

She was deep in prayer but yelled “Lord help me” after the man grabbed her hair. The man fell backward at that and hit his head on the fridge, and stumbled out disoriented and escaped in the getaway car waiting for him.

This reminded me of an incident told to me by a friend in missions who had lived in a property lent to the work in one of the worst areas of Chicago. A very, very big man once came literally crashing through the front door and began shouting and wreaking general havoc throughout this apartment.

My colleague sent his partner to call the police while he followed the troublemaker, who went room by room until he found the kitchen and stuffed a lot of the food into his mouth.

Then he turned his attention on my friend, backed him to the wall, and started choking him. My colleague shot up a silent prayer commanding God to stop this man. Whereupon the man’s head snapped back from the body as if from a blow that came out of thin air. It was a knockout blow that left him on the floor. The police and paramedics only had to put him on a stretcher and carry him out.

Then there is my own experiences. In one, a gang came to our community home in a three-story house in St. Louis, my home town, with the intention of doing us great bodily harm when their gang leader gave the signal.

Well, before they could get to the signal, the “shepherdess” had pulled out her guitar and poured out her heart to these tough guys, and they began whispered conversations in the stairway.

They told us that they had decided we were just “too sweet” and they couldn’t do anything to us. When we broke up to converse personally, some of them prayed with us to receive Jesus.

In Cincinnati, there was a gang, a very big gang, that followed our group when we began walking back home from a college campus we often went to in our “witnessing”. They threw down one of our group to the ground, when a “sister” who was underage but visited yelled out at her loudest voice, “I rebuke you in Jesus name!!” At that one of the leaders pulled the others away and yelled at them to leave us alone, because he knew us, and we were “with God”.

It turned out he had met us in another witnessing trip to a park the previous weekend.

Wow, here goes a very interesting take on the Papal resignation:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2287074/Pope-resigns-2013-Gay-sex-rings-The-Filth-corrupting-Vatican–Pope-REALLY-quit.html

The article noted that the “resignation” we are hearing about of six hundred years agone now, was not really a “resignation” but he was forced out when the cardinals decided having three popes, even if each of them had some significant claim to clerical and “secular” support, was too many. The “resignation” was a promise by the “resigning pope” so he could get to claim his place in the historical succession by convening the conclave to elect the next pope (“none of the above” three) and then officially resigning.

All of this just shows the political nature of this office. The international Roman Catholic Church controls a LOT of resources, a LOT of money, and a lot of people, and this always invites corruption.

As to the pedophile scandal rocking the church, and the reference by some lay Catholics and former priests recently who said the only one who could begin to clean house and clean up the reputation (such as is possible) was Pope Benedict himself, by taking some actions and resigning.

It reminded me of something from accounts of Martin Luther’s own trip to Rome before his “99 Theses”.

At the time priests jokingly laid claim to piety by saying they only engaged in dalliances with the opposite sex.

An increasing number of people are giving up their United States citizenship because of the grievous and complicated tax rules. The United States imposes the same taxes on citizens living overseas as it does on those who stay inside the borders.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/expat/9904314/Americans-renouncing-citizenship-to-become-British-thanks-to-tax-rise.html

They make some accommodation by law for equivalent-category taxes paid to other governments, but this adds to the paperwork. It also has the effect of making some expatriates at least theoretically responsible for paying even more than they heavy levies of the America taxes.

The Republicans have not been better than Democrats in respecting human rights or in the warmongering, but in general it seems like the publishing organs of the government-media complex feel obligated to make subtle tilts in favor of the Dem Party (along with the not-so-subtle) in their coverage just to make it even. The Repugnant Party has to live with a handicap to make it fair for the Dumb Party.

I thought I would just mention this one time I came across another examples, the principles in the Connecticut Congress involved in a lewd sexually suggestive joke by the deputy speaker of the state House were identified by name but not party affiliation. But comments condemning the remarks and demanding an apology by another member of their House was quoted with his party affiliation identified.
http://www.ctpost.com/local/article/Politician-stripped-of-title-after-lewd-snake-4317889.php

The flap also shows how much today’s political environment is increasingly sensitive to the smallest slights. Harassment used to involve actual damage. Damage caused by words (where fraud is not involved) was not cause enough to destroy a person’s life or career. And especially when only ignorance or illiteracy was the real cause of the emotional “damage”, like when the use of the word “niggardly” was taken as a racial insult instead of what it really meant.

+===================================================+

The comments can sometimes be more interesting than the articles, like this next one about an Obama pardon for a man convicted of “violating the state’s gun law”:
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/mar/1/middle-gun-control-push-obama-pardons-man-weapon-c/?utm_source=RSS_Feed&utm_medium=RSS

The article does not state what the actual infraction consisted of, which would be helpful, but it still is a strange quirk in the middle of Obama’s promise to crack down hard on gun law violators and those who sell them to criminals. Presumably his definition of criminals would include those who possess guns he disapproves of. That would no doubt include all guns, since one of the things he’s pushing is a “universal background check”, and that would set up the first steps involved in the engineering of a one-stop place to make sure you are legal.

A lot of states already have big databases listing gun owners and their names and addresses. A way to access them all converts it to a national registry database.

Not all aborticide “doctors” are this dirty in their clinics, but when state authorities raided his “Womens’ Society” abortion clinic expected to find a mere “pill mill”, the shocked officials immediately ordered this filthy abortuary shut down.

Now, the villain is preparing for trial for his heartless murder of eight newborn children who refused to die inside the womb and instead came out breathing. He is also charged with the murder (“manslaughter”) for the two mothers that died on the abortion table from the medical incompetence.

It shocked the state into realizing that hey, maybe abortion “clinics” are not automatically safe.

Many of us already knew it was a killing field for legalized infanticide.

Mothers:

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.– Isaiah 55:7

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.-Isaiah 1:18

+===================================================+

A shocking surprise awaits in the future for confused Christian Zionists:
http://www.wnd.com/2013/03/experts-reveal-how-israel-fits-into-todays-news/

They start off by lifting up talks by people who want to combat “the new anti-Semitism”, by which they mean anybody who questions anything the secular officially Jewish Israeli state does. Being officially Jewish, they are thereby officially anti-Christ, and thereby officially anti-God. And when they say, like the false prophets of Jeremiah’s time and like the Pharisees of Jesus’ day, that they “answer only to God”, they are following false prophets.

They hinge this thing on the promise to Abraham that God will bless those that bless his people and curse those that “curse thee”.

But God made clear even to Abraham that his descendants (according to the flesh) would fail and that God would have to cast them off. Here’s the verses they hang on:

And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.–Genesis 22:18
And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;-Genesis 26:4

In the above-linked article, the writer also goes on to mention the “harbingers” of judgement as warnings against ancient Israel, as applied to the America of today.

My question is, why are they not applying those same harbingers to the modern state of Israel. And how can a wicked nation bless Israel, whether Israel of today is good or evil, or due for its own judgment?

As someone who believes in the Golden Rule as expressed by Jesus Christ himself, I totally oppose the abuses that many generations of Jews have received in the past. Dennis Prager points out that the systematic and worst abuses have never occurred in the USA like in Europe and elsewhere, but there have been slights. I pray that if Jews were ever being hunted down for being Jews that God would give me the grace to hide them.

I think they should have the same rights and treated equally as anyone. They have no special claim over mine or yours to Abrahamic promises. Same as everyone else, they demand equal treatment before God by refusing to recognize the claim that the Lord of the Manor has over them through his own son that he sent.

Let us see what God actually promised to the usurpers of the claim of the Lord over the manor, the usurpers that he had trusted with taking care of the manor. Note that the Pharisees had no problem at all perceiving that this parable was about them. It seems they may have had more spiritual discernment than today’s major so-called Christian leaders:

Matthew 21: 33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.

35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.

37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

God the Father told them in the Tanukh, and Jesus told them as quoted in the Gospels, that the kingdom of God would be taken from them and given to “a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof”.

Is the political nation of Israel of today “bringing forth the fruits thereof”?

By the way, is the Roman Catholic hierarchy “bringing forth the fruits thereof”?

What do you think?

That’s a bunch of Malarky!

October 13, 2012

Fact checking the liars with “fact checkers” masks….

Like salon.com for example.  [satire:] Oh yeah, count on objective “fact” reporting from salon.com

*10:15 — Taxpayer funding for abortion:* Ryan says Democrats support taxpayer funding for abortion, pointing to Obamacare. That’s completely false . The bill never contained taxpayer funding for abortion, but it was nonetheless held up for months to appease pro-life Democratic Rep. Bart Stupak and the bloc that he lead.

It turns out that funds from that bill are right now funding abortions in some states, and dual-use abortifacients/contraceptives will be paid for by conscientious objectors by force and fine. No matter what your religious or secular conviction is,  you will not be able to buy an insurance plan that excludes “contraception”, and that includes the abortifacients with the misleading “contraception” label. The “morning-after” pill is an abortifacient. Since salon.com pretends they do not know this, how can one trust them?

Stephanapolous had to know something, the contraception question at his moderated debate came out of nowhere, another puff of smoke from the government-media complex, and what Disraeli said about how there are no accidents in politics.

Stupak was right before he caved, and wrong when he caved. What did Obama really say in that private meeting? Obama and Pelosi were already saying (lying) it wouldn’t cover abortions, they still plan to cover them, same as they plan to bring everything under the command-insurance G-control model (as they also said).

After all, as a guy who opposed effective penalties for letting a baby die after it is born, is Obama going to tell the truth?

And babies are still dying by the thousands daily, under the unconstitutional legal kill order known as Roe v Wade.

Biden played the dove on Syria last night, but BOTH of them kept war open as an option. Yes they did, two mealy-mouths. They all look like warmongers to me, and Obama has a track record that added not one, not two, but three new fronts to his list of wars to add to Bush’s two.

*10:10 — Troops in Libya:* Ryan said “nobody is considering sending troops to Syria.” In August, Gov. Romney told CBS News that he would send U.S. troops to Syria if necessary to prevent the spread of chemical weapons. In his interview with CBS, Romney said, “I think we have to also be ready to take whatever action is necessary to ensure that we do not have any kind of weapon of mass destruction falling into the hands of terrorists and whether that requires troops, or whether that requires other actions by our friends and allies.”

And both insinuate they might go to war against Iran. (If they decide it’s “necessary”). They all agree that Iran is a dire threat to the national security of the United States. Even worse, they say, it is a threat to Israel. I kid you not. In the tradition of Dave Berry, I am not making this up.

*10:00 — Small Navy? *Paul Ryan says Obama would reduce the Navy to its smallest size since World War I. Politifact gave that claim a Pants on Fire and called it ridiculous.

—
Moot because they’re both warmongers covering up by expected talking points. Ryan wants to increase the military and their presence everywhere, and Obama-Biden showed their true warrior colors with the war against the Libyans and threatening Syria and Iran.

*9:55 — Sequester two-step:* Ryan attacks Biden for automatic defense cuts that will go through if Congress does not act. Those cuts come from the “sequester,” the automatic trigger mechanism created by the congressional deal to raise the debt ceiling. You know who voted for that plan? Paul Ryan <http://thinkprogress.org/security/2012/09/09/816861/ryan-i-didnt-vote-for-the-defense-cuts-i-voted-for/>.

–
So advocated Biden, to push the debt ceiling can down the road some more, and this exposes what liars the “fact checkers” are. Everybody knows that was a “compromise” anyway and everybody wanted their own toys but they had to do “something” instead of doing the only sane thing (the Ron Paul plan) so it became automatic. What do you expect from a “thinkprogress” that wants us to throw us back to feudalism and calls it “progress”?

They had to give the Tea Party guys in the House some cover. After all, the American people put them there to stop the mad spending addiction.

Welfare-warfare is a false choice, a pox on both their houses. Neither of them have any right to complain about the others’ “lies”, they all drummed the only honest candidate out of this false choice. Which one? Seabiscuit or Secretariat? Cardinals or Giants? Difference is, these guys are asses pretending to be horses.

*9:45 — Social Security and Medicare are /not/ going broke:* “Social Security and Medicare are going bankrupt. These are indisputable facts,” Ryan says. Actually both are disputable and neither are facts. People have been saying Social Security is going to go bankrupt for decades, it hasn’t yet, and it’s not going to. It’s currently projected to be fine for at least 40 years

—-

Those freebies are designed to go broke, by which I mean the design is built to break. Even the marketing is Ponzi scheme, besides which, unfunded liabilities are up to over $70 trillion by most estimates of all such programs and the national debt keeps climbing and they’ll get squeezed out by the fall of the dollar if nothing else. It’s built on paper and ink and now electronic blips.

Anyway, not one Congress has any true moral authority to lay debt on people that had nothing to do with it. Why should a future Congress be obligated to pay for today’s Congress. Today’s Congress is paying for the sins of their colleagues in the past, but they’re paying for it by committing the same theft against future Congressmen. Except that we are paying now, because every time government spends money, they have to rob us to do it.

When they pay for it with taxes, they are directly robbing the people they confiscate from. When they pay for it with borrowing, they are robbing the poor and middle class with the inflation they’re causing, robbing value from our money. After they ditched the gold base, it’s easier to print the money.

Except the evil faction of the banksters took over the printing. Treasury doesn’t print it, they borrow it from the bankers at the Fed. The bankers just print the IOU’s (we owe them) that they lend to us and it costs them virtually nothing.

*9:40 — Ryan’s healthcare plan is bipartisan? *Ryan claimed that his Medicare proposal was co-sponsored by a Democrat. He was referring to Sen. Rod Wyden of Oregon, who did create a plan to change Medicare, but once Republicans adapted it, he distanced himself from the bill this summer <http://thehill.com/blogs/healthwatch/politics-elections/243387-wyden-downplays-medicare-plan-he-crafted-with-ryan>. In response to Romney’s continued claims on the campaign trail that the bill was bipartisan, Wyden told the Oregonian <http://www.oregonlive.com/mapes/index.ssf/2012/08/sen_wyden_says_romney_is.html> in August, “Bipartisanship requires that you not make up the facts. I did not ‘co-lead a piece of legislation.’”

So it WAS bipartisan, a plan created by a Democrat, who only backed off when the Republicans took ahold of it? So who was the bipartisan and who was not?

*9:35 — What about in your own district?* Ryan attacked Biden because the unemployment rate has gone up in his hometown of Scranton, Pa., under Obama and Biden. But the unemployment rate has gone up in Paul Ryan’s home district as well during his tenure in Congress. It was 3.8 percent when Ryan first took office in 1999 and was <http://www.alternet.org/election-2012/take-look-what-paul-ryan-did-his-own-congressional-district-and-be-very-scared-your> at 9.2 percent this August.

-

-
But Biden is VP and this is Obama’s economy.

*9: 30 — Paul Ryan requested stimulus money:…It’s also worth noting that Ryan supported the 2002 stimulus package

They all did, a pox on all their houses. Americans roared back with all the Tea Party demonstrations. Problem is this horse race and all the betting on it is distracting them.

*9:25 — Cars:* “Mitt Romney is a car guy,” Ryan says earnestly. Mitt Romney also wrote an Op-Ed for the New York Times titled “Let Detroit Go Bankrupt <http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/19/opinion/19romney.html>.”

—

Meaning, they should have let them go through the normal bankruptcy process instead of making it their political football and using it to brag about government robbing Peter to save Paul.

They SHOULD have left Detroit alone. Now it’s worse. Now we even have the “leftist” regime bragging about all the corporate welfare they give out to save the big corporations.

What a con job! It’s as good as the revisionist history that has the party of slavery and Jim Crow pretending to love all the poor colored folk!

*9:10 — Marines: *Paul Ryan, noting that there’s a Marine detachment at the U.S. Embassy in Paris asks, “Shouldn’t we have a Marine detachment?” in Libya. The infatuation with the Marines belies a deep misunderstanding of the role the service members play in foreign embassies. The Corps actually protects information <http://www.salon.com/2012/10/10/romney_to_shut_up_about_benghazi_victim/>, not personnel. And with only a little over 1,000 Marines serving as guards around the world, there are very few in any diplomatic post.

—
The infuation with the Marines and having them everywhere is the usual imperialist mentality. It’s as bad as the newfound supposed Obama infatuation with special forces to do all these jobs. The special forces did so good in Libya. And it’s baloney they “only protect information”, as if they will let a guy visiting a consulate start shooting at consulate personnel, no matter what a written code says.

*9:05 — Diplomatic security: *The debate opened up with a discussion of the attacks on U.S. diplomatic posts in Libya, with Paul Ryan attacking Biden for the Obama administration supposedly not doing enough to protect diplomats.

So this non-factual “fact checker” wants to check the facts so they can throw them in the trash and look for something else to talk about. They also didn’t “check the fact” that there was obviously information left inadequately protected (in their own terms), since CNN reporters just wandering around found writings by diplomats themselves…

This is about LIBYA and Bengazi-gate. Obama’s State Department is now caught red-handed intentionally exposing the consulate in Benghazi to attack. The Brits had pulled out.

After having considered Libya important enough to go to war against it, how can they justify either (1) REDUCING security after requests for MORE security, or (2) if they had inadequate funding, why did they not pull out. LIKE THE BRITS DID after an attack against their ambassador?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/sep/12/chris-stevens-us-ambassador-libya-killed

The ambassador’s killing follows an attack in June on the UK ambassador to Libya, Dominic Asquith. Two British bodyguards were injured after a rocket was fired at Asquith’s convoy in Benghazi, hitting his security escort. There have been similar attacks in Benghazi on the Red Cross and the UN. It is not clear why the US ambassador had returned to Benghazi at a time of security concerns.

On Wednesday the British embassy in Tripoli said that after the attack in June UK diplomats were pulled out of Benghazi. “Nobody is based there permanently. We have a villa there and an office, with staff traveling there from time to time,” it said. No British staff were injured during Tuesday’s attack on the US mission, it added.

And another thing.

I just saw that the ambassador was taken out by rockets in an ambush. So of course how could it not be a spontaneous mob reaction to a movie not even the Arabs heard about until the Obama gang blamed it for this?

The same link as above, from September 12, 2012:

The US ambassador in Libya and three other embassy staff were killed in a rocket attack after the diplomat’s car was targeted in the eastern city of Benghazi, it was confirmed on Wednesday.

July 29, 2012

I just clipped it from a comment somewhere now lost in surfing memory.

But Mike’s comment has a ton of truth to it.

I warned Mike and everybody else who (I presume) was posting in favor of Obama that they would get the same of all the things they hated with Bush, and likely more, including the corporatocracy elements.

Proven true now of course. Among those points, now history:

#1.Obama not only has kept the worst core elements of the Patriot Act, his administration has expanded them. O’s Injustice Department has expanded Bush’s self-written search warrants to mean they are outside the jurisdiction of any courts, nobody can question them, nobody can sue against them.

#2. Habeus corpus continues violated.

#3. Not only did he continue both wars that Bush started to this day, he fought another one in Libya, supporting the genocide there against the town of 10,000 black folks, he supported surrogates in others, and they are providing material support to another Muslim Brotherhood-al Qaeda takeover.

#4. Not only did he continue the Bush practice of waging war without a proper constitutional Declaration of War in Congress, he proceeded to tell Congress through subordinates that he did not even have the obligation to report to Congress a new war. (A war by any other name).

Note for the gullible: Pearl Harbor was, is still today in fact, properly considered so, an act of war, like U.S. bombings in Libya and in Serbia.

So he has continued the Bush wars and added a couple of his own. MEMO: 18,000 troops will stay in Iraq and that is not a withdrawal, and the embassy is the biggest in the world ever.

#5. He continued the practice of keeping the number of warrantless searches secret.

#6. Even before he was president, he pushed for TARP, which we find out poured trillions into private banks and overseas private banks and European banks, in a blatantly unconstitutional interference in the judicial branches, and not only that, refusing to prosecute an unknown number of actors in Wall Street that should have gone to prison in the first days of the Obama administration.

Instead, the administration brought in Wall Street associates of these criminals, and chief Wall Street criminal protector Geithner brought into the Cabinet itself (who was head of the New York branch of the Fed at the time and enabler of bonuses at AIG).

#7. He continued the Bush-era practice of hiring lobbyists into the administration, only more of it.

#8. He not only continued the practice of protecting the exploding federal debt burden, he outdid the Bush era practice by orders of magnitude. NOBODY “inherits” a deficit, though. A deficit is when you spend more money THIS year than your revenues THIS same year, so a deficit has NOTHING to do with last year.

#9. He has continued the Bush era practice of doing everything possible to stop any real fix to the oncoming debt tsunami and dollar crash.

#10. He made the executive presidency even more renegade by not only continued the presumed and denied practice by previous presidents of ordering killings, surrogates have now bragged about him deciding every day who will be killed, without arrest, warrant, habeus corpus, or a trial, including American citizens.

#11. O’s administration has expanded on the list of official bad guys for police and neighbors to suspect of terrorism, to add returning veterans, Ron Paul supporters, Constitution Party supporters, conspiracy theorists, and a few jihadist groups to make it look fair.

This year it leaked that they have added “liberty lovers” to this official “unofficial” enemies list.

#12. Bush doubled the size of Medicare with the pharmacy benefits, and Obama continued the practice of taking over this huge section of the private economy with the Unaffordable Health Care Act, and huge Medicaid expansion, but added a penalty/tax to compel participation for those who engage in breaking the law by doing absolutely nothing.

And got an unappealable judicial infinite taxation permit as a side benefit of lawsuits protesting this. (Maybe they should have gambled instead on overturning the FDR commerce clause over-reach but they didn’t)

#13. Obama continued the Bush precedent of appointing relatively unknown friends from the administration, Bush with Harriet Myers, Obama with not one but two: Sotomayor and Elena Kagan.

#14. Obama has endorsed the ACTA treaty, which is another the gift for Big Corporate to add to the change in patent law. You invented it first does not count anymore, the patent goes to the company that files first. Now we find that the US is negotiating another treaty that will hurt individuals at the expense of more restrictions, the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership).

#15. Obama has continued the Bush practice of acting like the increasing persecution of Christians around the world (as compared to other religions) does not exist, including the decimation and physical assaults on Christians in Iraq and Afghanistan where presumably it would have influence, and in Libya where the presidential regime allied with the mass murderers of Christian blacks.

#16. Obama continued the interventionist policies of Bush in Latin America after promising a new era in relations, although he did modify the policy by actively trying to a slight change, to bully the nations into accepting Communist dictators like Manuel Zelaya in Honduras.

#17. THE DIFFERENCE from Bush. The one visible difference (you have to look under the covers to see it) is the Cloward-Piven difference. That idea is to demand that the government fill ALL its promises and pay everybody their due and make them spend enough to bankrupt it.

Discover the Networks says it better. Remember that Cloward and Piven wanted a full-blown socialist society on the Marxist model, overtly and explicitly:

The Cloward-Piven Strategy
By Richard Poe
DiscoverTheNetworks.org
2005

First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the “Cloward-Piven Strategy seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Inspired by the August 1965 riots in the black district of Watts in Los Angeles (which erupted after police had used batons to subdue an African American man suspected of drunk driving), Cloward and Piven published an article titled “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty” in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation. Following its publication, The Nation sold an unprecedented 30,000 reprints. Activists were abuzz over the so-called “crisis strategy” or “Cloward-Piven Strategy,” as it came to be called. Many were eager to put it into effect.

The strategy is to make the “enemy” live up to their own rules, except I would say they only want those rules enforced in their favor and never against them. It’s also a “Trojan Horse” movement strategy, meaning activist groups that pretend to help the poor but it’s only meant to make their lot worse and lead to a breakdown in the whole system and bring down the government.

John Roberts: It was NOT a tax, before it WAS a tax, right in the same opinion

June 29, 2012
Tax

Tax (Photo credit: 401K 2012)

So in 2010 Obama and Pelosi pushed through the biggest tax increase on the poor in the history of the United States, that hits the pocketbook of the poor at a much bigger percentage than it does the rich, and for the middle class raises the price for all insurance plans across the board.

Did you hear that? This is biggest “non-tax” tax (wink wink) on the poor, and it hits people who earn less than $250,000 MUCH harder than it does the millionaire. In percentage terms, and directly. All taxes hit the poor the hardest and the middle class next but this one is straight to the poor.

That’s why Obama had to tell Stephanopolous emphatically that it was NOT a tax, because it hits hardest on the poor and the middle class.

Gomert, on the House floor the day the Unaffordable Obamacare Act was ruled constitutional by the Court, parsed out some important parts of John Roberts‘ “majority opinion” document.

In the first part of the document, Gomert said, John Roberts makes the strong point that Congress knew what it was doing when it used the word “penalty” for the fine they will impose on everybody that does not buy insurance.

Roberts first agreed with Congress and Obama that it was a “penalty” because if it had been called a “tax”, then by legislation and precedent the Supreme Court cannot decide anything until the first “tax” actually is levied and somebody sues.

Having allowed himself to rule on the “penalty”, and after declaring that Congress knows the difference between a penalty and a tax, and therefore the Court has jurisdiction now, not later over this decision, he then goes on to declare by court fiat that the whole thing is constitutional because, he says, it’s really a tax.

That smells like maybe some under-the-table was done, to me. If Congress had called it a “tax” they would not have been able to rule on it till 2014, after the first of us get hit with that part of it. But in 2010 when they passed it they did not dare call it a tax, for it would not have passed.

Report denying danger EMP danger called ‘junk science’

March 6, 2012

Posted in the spirit of “for what it’s worth”:

http://www.wnd.com/2012/03/report-denying-danger-emp-danger-called-junk-science/

But you always have to be skeptical of “research” when it comes out of the government or government funded programs anyway. Especially when the conclusions change shortly after there is a new political appointee….

Government funding of anything always politicizes its target, count on it. And if the funds allocated by Congress seems to go to research that goes against the principles mouthed aloud by Congress, then you have to wonder about those Congressmen themselves, why are they going against themselves and their constituents. And make no mistake, the research conclusions are tainted, and the facts can be arranged for impact.

I know the military has underground bases that are “hardened” against the effects of EMP above-ground and it does not take such things so lightly.

This report is corporation-friendly, very strange for an anti-corporation administration, don’t you think?

Remember when a solar flare knocked out most cell phones for a few days? And that wasn’t the strongest.

Contraception rule is attack on freedom, distracts from hated nationalized medicine

February 22, 2012

How Would a Patriot Act?

And it is a brilliant attempt to divide the clergy from the parishioners too.

I had to answer this backwards, upside-down view of the forced-contraception-coverage rule:

http://kepdavis.wordpress.com/2012/02/21/contraception-is-not-about-women/

In my doctrine as a Christian the woman herself with her man should use or not contraception “according to her faith”, although every conception is a gift.

That said, a person has no natural right to forcibly take the goods of another or the fruits of their labor. The cost for providing contraception will not be free no matter how they word some stupid rule, but the semantic acrobatics in the “compromise” fully expose the semantic bankruptcy of the whole thing. If you want the truth, you can see it. The insurance companies will charge the cost to its customers, even if it’s hidden inside all the rest of its overhead of doing business. Everybody knows this. Everyone.

My right to the free exercise of religion does not give me the “right” to take your money to support my pastor, or my religion, or for any other of my own purposes, no matter how sacred a right it is. Especially if it’s against your own religious doctrine, whatever it is, whether you’re a Catholic, Presbyterian, Jew, Moslem, or atheist, even if your doctrine says women should have a “right” to contraception.

THE RULE IS A SCAM TO DIVERT ATTENTION FROM WHAT AMERICANS HATE.

The whole ridiculous forced contraception coverage rule is a scam anyway.

It’s meant to distract from the most outrageous violations of liberty since the Congress ceded a currency monopoly to a cartel of private bankers, the Federal Reserve, ruled by the kings of Wall Street.

The people of America HATED and still HATE the TARP bailouts that continued from the Bush era to the Obama administration, they HATE the secrecy of who got what money, they HATE the coverup on who got what, they HATE the “stimulus” that only stimulated more DEBT, they HATE the deficits that BOTH parties have pushed upwards for decades even though most of them don’t realize the national debt is a theft from the poor and middle class. They HATE the Patriot Act and the NDAA and SOPA and PIPA and ACTA and they HATE the fact the president wants the power to finger anybody he wants to in the whole world for indefinite detention, secretly, and for assassination. And they HATED this nationalization of centralized control over the best medical care system known to the entire world, bar none, despite the warts caused mostly by government meddling itself.

Nationalizing the medical industry and private care is an intrusive assault on privacy, the right recognized, not “given”, in the 4th Amendment, to “BE secure in” our private affairs from intrusive monitoring by government:

4th Amendment: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

That’s besides the fact that the whole thing violates the 10th amendment that forbids the federal government from any authority that is not expressly given in the Constitution.

Defining state markets as interstate markets for the purpose of micro-managing our lives, as was one of the excuses in a recent debate on CSPAN on the subject, has no boundaries. Every intra-state market in any good or service, under that ridiculously expansive justification, might affect the market in another state, and –hello?– that is good, that is the whole idea!

States and nations should compete with each other, they should not have to follow the same centralized economic planning dictates, a practice which has proven time after time and time again to totally brutalize the poorest of the poor that is cynically used to justify their economic and political oppression!

Here is my answer to one or another hysterical anti-Ron Paul rant:

Ron Paul is the anti-racist:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pTgp3vF-eM

What other candidate promises to stop the federally pushed total institutional racist war on drugs, which puts up to 5X more blacks into prison per arrest rate that whites? And who is the one blasting the racist drug laws that by law and by judicial decision make much more brutal sentences.

This is all a distraction from the real issues that are attracting people of all kinds and backgrounds to Ron Paul’s cause. Anti-gay? I’ve met enthusiastic gays at Ron Paul rallies. Blacks? I’ve won blacks over the cause who asked for extra issues cards to give to their own friends. As soon as awareness of what Ron Paul stands for reaches critical mass among blacks, it’s all over for Obama.

Freedom brings all kinds of people together to support Ron Paul’s message and platform: blacks, whites, Latinos, rednecks, anarchists, former mainstream Democrats, former mainstream Republicans, gays, straights, atheists, Bible-thumping preachers, liberal theologians and conservative theologians, more soldiers than the other candidates, women, men, feminists, strippers and prudes, gun owners, business owners, technologists, software engineers and lawyers, corporate executives and blue collar workers, almost anything you can think of except for crony capitalist supporters and socialists who want more government power!

He is against the institutional racism of the drug laws and the drug wars.

He is the one we can count on to stop the mad rush to use the American military to enforce goodness on the world.

He is the one admitting the failure of American interventionist policy around the world.

His policies would return the nation to a truly strong national self-defense. The United States is sgoing broke and its military is about to crash and burn against the wall of economic catastrophe brought about by fiat currency with no independent value. Bringing the soldiers home to bases, and there is plenty of room for them on US soil, would mean spending that money at home and soldiers to protect our borders. Releasing the oil that has been banned by fiat would release the country from sovereignty-killing dependence on foreign imports.

Besides which, this is no pansy for abuse by those who would interfere with trade by Americans. Citizens could feel safer abroad. He excoriated Congress and the President for their neglect of the constitutional use of letters of marque and reprisal, rewards for those who kill or capture anyone who after Congressional debate is determined to be a real threat to American interests.

I think Somali pirates would take note. A letter of marque and reprisal for someone who was attacking US merchant ships for ransom might have to face an army of his own kind of pirates seeking the reward money. You think that’s ugly, you should see the army of the kind of people our most respected district attorneys use for informants.

So President Paul that got his wish list, at least at the federal level, would mean the end of institutionally racist drug laws, savings from the end of ineffective drug wars, a MUCH stronger national defense, a MUCH stronger currency, a MUCH stronger economy, MANY more resources for the multitude of charities helping the poor from the spillover of a much richer nation, and a population much less afraid of government abuse.

Ron Paul nearly tied for #1, surging in Iowa poll, as people hear his message

November 18, 2011

Ron Paul‘s poll numbers are surging as people discover what his message really is:

http://www.ronpaul2012.com/2011/11/17/ron-paul-continues-iowa-surge/

He’s within the 5-point margin of error for a tie with Herman Cain for first place in Iowa, according this new Iowa State University/Gazette/K

What this means is that when people get a chance to actually hear Ron Paul explain his positions, without the media filters, they respond to this message. Many realize he is speaking the same things they’ve been thinking all along, with others it’s like something they were thinking but now it’s like they have permission to think differently than they’ve been told and it resonates. Still others realize that his message of freedom makes sense.

And best of all for many, his record speaks louder than his words, or gives a perfect echo to his words. Here finally is a man we can trust based on his record to actually do what he says he’s going to do. He votes exactly as he says he will, with no turning and is considered the most honest man in Congress. If a bill is unconstitutional, he has sometimes been the lone single vote against it.

People know he’s not out there playing with his words to get votes like you sense with a lot of the other candidates. With him, it’s what you see is what you get.

Dems Furious After Vote Change Gives Lead to Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice – FoxNews.com

Oh the hypocrisy. These same “liberals” did not complain about the foot-dragging so-called “vote count” that put failed Air America talk show host Al Franken into Congress.
